In the past few days I've locked onto wildcarding 32 and freehitting 35, then changed freehitting to 31, then thought of another strategy that I increasingly like the more I think about it: wildcarding this or the next gw and freehitting gw31. This enables taking advantage of some fixture turns for strong teams (CHE, MUN, MCI get tougher while TOT, ARS, LEI easier). Saving free hit for 35 feels weaker if not many fixtures blank, so its initial purpose to use it in the gameweek with the most blanks seems to fit exactly in GW31. After some tinkering with that idea in mind to see how a WC team would look, I've built a test-team like this:Fabianski Foster Vertonghen Mee Monreal Maguire VanDijk Fraser Salah Doucoure Eriksen Mahrez Vardy Firmino KaneWhat do you think about this idea? » Read

Kane him. Daniels and Hegazi together won't bring the points Kane alone can bring. » Read

And just realised that even wildcarding now, with a big turn of fixtures for some big teams, may be a very good idea... » Read

I've been leaning towards using FH in 31 too, since I don't want to miss on players from good teams who can do well 28-31, then just hide them for 31 and have them back right after. I feel like it will be less effective if used later. » Read

Why? MUN can keep a clean sheet. Just make sure you have a good backup if he doesn't play. » Read

I was planning to FH in 35, but 31 may be a better time to use it. » Read

I'd save or do option 2, but planning to get Firmino soon. And would bench Hegazi instead of Sterling. » Read

It makes some sense, but it may be more useful closer to the big DGW. » Read

The thing is that I already own Fraser so at least I'd like to save a hit there. » Read

The other players in that plan would be Elliot, Alonso, Otamendi (+0.4 profit), Sterling (+0.2 profit). » Read

I've made a simple spreadsheet (minutes and points columns) with non blanking GW31 players to monitor in GWs 28-30, to help me decide which ones to pick then. In general, I plan to get defensive cover from the 4 home sides. Already own Salah, Firmino, Wilson, Fraser. I may not make all the moves I think of, but ideally, as of now, I think I'd like this XI for GW31:Butland Ake Schindler VanDijk Salah Fraser Shaqiri Sigurdsson Firmino Wilson NiasseWhat do you think? » Read
