  3. Klopp's update on Liverpool centre-back situation and other FPL team news 10 days, 1 hour ago

With the Club being so badly affected by the new strain of Covid-19, with "some of the staff and players suffering serious effects of the virus, we urge all in our local community to follow the Government guidance" How is this even continuing. A cunning trick has been pulled where footballers have been painted as being in some way 'privileged' or 'exempt' and allowed to continue to work. Lung Consultants and surgeons are saying they are finding huge percentages of abnormal chest scans even in asymptomatic positives. We really don't know how severe long term effects are, even for the young, healthy, asymptomatic. What a joke. The fact they earn a sh1t ton of money shouldn't mean we put them in situations where they're more at risk for our own unnecessary entertainmemt » Read

Where were all influencers two weeks ago saying 'do nothing, we're in the midst of the most risky and unpredictable fpl period ever'. How did that slip by basically all of them. It's going to interesting in a couple of months when managers with three chips drop them all in massive weeks with no cancellations. » Read

  6. Can Robert Snodgrass’ set pieces turn him into a viable FPL asset for West Brom? 11 days, 9 hours ago

Also of concern, several managers have foolishly suggested that it will be not possible, or difficult at best for game players and staff'to follow these rules. Not really what you want to hear them say to appease those with the power to pull the plug. » Read

Not only do they continue in failing to recognise the very clear message from ministers that the public is starting to take note and ask questions about why they are being forced to comply with strict rules that everyone involved in the game are not, but it continues to be worrying re containing further outbreaks in coming weeks. Which as we have seen, testing will not prevent, just identity more quickly. » Read

Meetings set up between PL officials and managers and captains to explain, again, for the third time, their responsibilities. Which were explained to them most recently, yesterday, in picture form. This is presumably in anticipation of further review by ministers of previous informal warnings about failure to adhere and the inevitable images they will have to review, again, following last night's round » Read

Dyche literally fistbumped Ole yesterday then they stood and chatted with their hands over their mouths. Honestly Anyway, people seem intent on turning this into something it isn't. It's nothing more than wondering why on Earth football is handing ministers a justification to cancel the game. » Read

I'm not communicating with you further. You seem intent on turning this into an argument about wether football should continue, which this never has been. Either you are being deliberately slow to understand or you simply haven't taken time to read the actual meaning. Either way, trying to communicate with you is fruitless » Read

Scott Parker just fistbumped and shook hands with about 20-30 people. Clubs are struggling to prevent outbreaks once the virus gets in, which it does, because testing can't reliably prevent that. It's just begging for Transmission/cancellation » Read

The point seems to have gone completely over your head. This isn't an opinion piece about whether they should continue, this is about the fact that they've been warned twice and disregarded it twice. On the day the UK saw a record number of deaths. I don't really understand, are you saying that you would like them to give ministers a reason to pull the plug? Because it's hard to get a country to do what you say when people keep showing them pictures of people who aren't and saying 'I can't hug my grandmother, what's going on here?' » Read

Why is football begging to be cancelled. Before this round they were told 'you are on thin ice... stop the unnecessary contact'... ' referees will be reminding you of your responsibility'. After the games yesterday the bbc published pictures of each team disregarding what they'd been told. Today the PL issued a written warning and guidance - with pictures like for children - about breaking these recommendations, because they know that if people keep submitting images of players unnecessarily breaking guidelines then ministers will put their foot down and they'll not be able to continue to justify it. Multiple instances again tonight, huddles, managers shaking the hands of every staff and player in site, subs high fiving bench players. Whatever you think of whether football should continue, this is just stupidity on a staggering level » Read
