  1. How the FFScout captain poll winners performed this season 5 days, 4 hours ago

Honorable mention to Walcott for making his annual visitation to my team. Signing sane in Gw25 was a season defining mistake. » Read

  2. How the FFScout captain poll winners performed this season 5 days, 6 hours ago

No more than about 50 votes in it - aguero led all week, sane overtook him on Saturday morning. I often use the poll as a good guide to the best captain when I can’t decide - this one week it let me down in style! » Read

  3. How the FFScout captain poll winners performed this season 5 days, 7 hours ago

Actually, Leroy Sane topped the poll at 1130 in GW 25 (sometimes people keep voting after the deadline). I know this, because I couldn’t decide who to captain, so outsourced my decision to the poll, and fatefully brought in Sane for Hazard, and gave him the armband instead of Aguero for a loss of about 40 points. » Read

  4. The lessons learned from 2018/19's Goalkeeper of the Year candidates 5 days, 22 hours ago

Looking at the team of the year for last year shows how much changes from one season to the next. So for those already picking their side for August - the only certainty is that next year will be very different. » Read

  6. How the final day of the season unfolded from a Fantasy perspective 7 days, 5 hours ago

I bought TAA three days before his ankle injury - he sat on my bench for three weeks with the frustrating “he is nearly back” messages from Klopp each week, and I finally got rid. » Read

  7. Salah and Robertson start but Hazard, Shaw and Lacazette drop out 8 days, 1 hour ago

Same boat - held on to Robertson on wildcard because he was supposedly more nailed - about 30 points worse off, plus what the money could have done elsewhere. » Read

  10. Learning from The Great and The Good: Gameweek 37 9 days, 19 hours ago

This article has been a really brilliant addition this season. I’ve loved seeing what the great and the good are up to - it’s been a really helpful group to sense check your own side against. I’ve also loved the style you wrote in, and the film or song theme each week. I hope this will return in August, and until then, don’t have nightmares. » Read

  11. Aguero and Sterling blank as City defenders rack up more FPL points 13 days, 5 hours ago

With amazingly bad timing, worst gameweek of the season with 31 points, prioritizing Liverpool and man city attackers over defenders has killed me. Knocked out of two cup semi finals. » Read

  14. The Huddersfield Effect boosts Liverpool assets in big Anfield win 22 days, 23 hours ago

This is an excellent point, and something I’ve noticed a lot this season. There were seasons when I suffered a lot from having low team value in the final weeks - my rivals had pretty much exactly the same team, but could afford one or two crucial upgrades. So I’ve concentrated a lot on team value the last few years, and that hasn’t worked either - at least once or twice a season it inevitably costs you with points hits when someone gets unexpectedly injured (like firminho yesterday). » Read

That doesn’t seem right - remember the Azpilicueta - Costa assist bromance? Or shearer and Sutton? Or any combination of Suárez, Sterling and Sturridge? » Read
