  1. Lampard edges out Aguero in the final of our World Cup of FPL tournament 20 days, 15 hours ago

Badly worded by me. They haven't given it the 'green light', that is the Independent's wording. They have said it can go ahead after that date if the conditions are right and we are a long way off the conditions being right, both in health and footballing matters. » Read

The content and timing of the second stage of adjustments will depend on the most up-to-date assessment of the risk posed by the virus. The five tests set out in the first chapter must justify changes, and they must be warranted by the current alert level. They will be enabled by the programmes set out in the next chapter and, in particular, by continuing to bolster test and trace capabilities, protect care homes and support the clinically extremely vulnerable. It is possible that the dates set out below will be delayed if these conditions are not met. Changes will be announced at least 48 hours before coming into effect. To aid planning, the Government's current aim is that the second step will be made no earlier than Monday 1 June, subject to these conditions being satisfied. Until that time the restrictions currently in place around the activities below will continue. » Read

No they haven't, they said it won't happen before that. That doesn't mean they have given it the go ahead. » Read

Why are they even considering voting on it when we don't even know that games will ever happen? The Government should step in and put everyone out of their misery by saying the season is over. Then the football bodies can decide what happens with the title, Euro qualification, promotion and relegation issues » Read

I'm missing your point. Every season there are are dgw's and everyone has the same opportunity to play a chip in one, that is fair. Not everyone has the same option to play a chip in a 10 match gw because they have already used the chip, that is unfair. » Read

Germany has banned large events with crowds until 24 October, so games will be behind closed doors, but the DFL has developed a health and safety plan that would see only about 300 people or near the pitch during matches, to minimise the risk of infection. Not neutral grounds » Read

I'm not so sure it's that cut and dry. Yes they do say that each week will be zero points, but GW38 starts on 17th May and they also say that 'We will make a further announcement on any fixtures scheduled for after 17 May, 2020.' They don't say that the announcement will be after 17 May, so they could make an announcement before and once gw38 is open it could stay open indefinitely. » Read

Good call, they're clearly talking about someone who actually doesn't take FPL seriously at all and want's the season called off, as opposed to some sad, brown-nosing misfit who lives on here hoping that the public and players are put at risk to satisfy his unhealthy obsession right? » Read
