Having added statistical maps to our Match Dashboard a week or so ago, we’ve now brought these new aids into the Player Profiles and, more importantly perhaps, the Stats Comparison Tool.

Our Members can now compare two players head-to-head and get both a statistical view and a graphical view of a players performance. Our new maps allow you to plot stats such as Shots, Chances Created, Crosses, Dribbles, Passes and an array of defensive stats. These can, of course, be filtered by a range of Gameweeks or matches and by home and away fixtures.

The next step is to add a heatmap that will plot a player’s touches on the pitch. We’ll be bringing that to you very soon.

The movie below offers a walkthrough of these new features, running a comparison between Sunderland’s Stephane Sessegnon and James McClean’s over their last six matches.

Memberships are still available for £12.50 up until the first weekend of the season. Click here for details on how to register or upgrade your account and for all our preview movies so far.

  1. I'm currently with hangeland... after being a fan and lucky to have him for much of 2010/11's campaign. But a lot of your comments are swaying me towards hughes now. I know he's started most pre-season games, even given the armband in a couple...

but IS HE AS NAILED ON???

    1. Is it wrong I'm tempted the other way towards Riise?

      1. very wrong. you need that cash up front my friend... or for an equally priced, far superior teamed defender.

    2. save yourself the headache and get hangeland. If fulham concede a few goals in a game I wouldnt be suprised if jol drops hughes and cant see hangeland being dropped regardless

      1. very reliant comment from you robin. cheers. will stick with breadman

  2. morning gents whats the latest on terry and his FA charge and ur thorts on his being unavailable for the opening gameweek :???:

    1. no one knows yet. im more interested in persie's maneuvers

  3. Lampard for dgw anyone? Worried he'll be rotated, with all those midfielders nobody is nailed on

    1. If i had to pick just 1 chelsea for dgw. And i'm a chelsea supporter. It would be frank

      1. Thanks jayzico. He'll definitely start 1 game and frank being frank he could do enough damage in that i feel. I might leave torres out if i get him...very hit and miss is fernando

  4. Friedel | Federici
    Vidic | Lescott | Cueller | Demel | Fonte
    Hazard | Kagawa | Ramires | Michu | Frei
    Aguero | Torres | Petric

    Hazard > Bale after GW1
    Kagawa & Torres > 6.5 & Rooney GW2.

    Any thoughts?

  5. RMT! 2mn in d bank fa Mr.Wayne!

    DDG—Tremmel

    PhilJones—Ivanovic—Demel—Cuellar—Clyne

    Noble—Hazard—Holman—Yaya—NDyer

    Defoe—Aguero—Torres
Thinking of Jones–>City LB after Community Shield.. Critical Reviews required! cheers

    1. Talk of Defoe leaving spurs...

  6. The stat maps are brilliant, as are all the recent member additions.

  7. RMT - any improvements anywhere?

    Begger - Green

    Cashley - Santon - Hughes - Cuellar - Tierney

    Mata(dor)/Valencia - Bale - Pinner - Larsson - Maloney

    Roonpig - Kun (c) - Graham

    Nowt in bank.......

  8. New member, 2nd draft after limited feedback earlier.

Removed Silva based on uncertainty at the moment, replaced with Yaya and thought better of Lambert with a tough opening set of fixtures, swapped for Defoe.
I'm still not happy with the front line though, overall I'm reluctant to pay over 10m for anyone but I'm open to ideas...

Would appreciate some feedback/suggestions on the whole lineup please.

    Federici (when appropriate)
    Clichy – Hangeland – Baines
    Y.Toure – Bale – Mata – Lampard
    Jelavic – Defoe – Pogrebnyak

Bench: de Gea (1st choice) / Noble / 2 nobodies for 4 mil.

    1. Strong mid..

i'd go for Graham instead of Defoe --- fancy SWC's opening fixtures...

      1. thanks, might free up some funds for use elsewhere too.

  9. what do you lot think?

    Vorm (Krul)
Perce | Clichy | Hangeland | Ivanovic (Rafael)
Noble | Mata | Kagawa | Silva (Allen)
    Torres | Pogrebnyak (Graham)

    +2mn in the bank

    1. Return the favour...
Looks a sharp side, only two question marks for me above Kagawa and Silva's heads.
The former shows great potential but I'm interested to see how he gets on when a premiership defender goes in on him. The later is an uncertainty, with word he's starting on the bench for the shield 2moro. Bit of a gamble for £10m, personally i backed him out and went with Y.Toure. Same team, bit cheaper.

  10. who rotates the best with Green lads?

    1. Friedel

  11. Who are the best 4.0 defenders?

Im going to have a 3 way rotation. My GK's are Green & Jussi so i dont want to double up on West Ham or QPR.

  12. Hey guys, new member... 1st post.

    (Jaaskelainen) -- Friedel
    CAshley -- Lescott -- (Fabio) -- Rangel -- (Cuellar)
    Pienaar -- (Allen) -- Sinclair -- Ramires -- Bale
    Pog -- Aguero -- Torres

Currently have 1.0M in the bank and am keen to get Rooney in for Torres in GW2 so need to free up another £1M. Also tempted to pick Mata / Hazard ahead of Bale for GW1.

Would appreciate any feedback on the team. Thanks!

    1. midfield looks weak.. downgrade Allen to a 4.5 mid n upgrade Sinclair to a Yaya maybe!

  13. Who will have the most clean sheets?
    Thanks. Jc

  14. Looking for some feedback fellas

    Federeci

    McCartney, Lescott, Hangeland

    Lampard, Valencia, Holman, Noble

    Pogrebnyak, Torres (C), Ageuro

    Subs: Jussi, McClean, Jones, Williams

2.5m in the bank, Rooney for Torres after GW1.

  15. Marveaux anyone?

  16. Correct Post anyone? ;)

    1. Sorry billy, what do u mean?

“I love to attack and I love to go up front...It is a little more difficult than when you are playing centre-back. If you play the way that I want to play, I think my influence is better as a left-back. For the team, it is best that I play as a centre-back. I like to bring the ball out. You need to move the game quickly, and that is one of my qualities as well.”
