As we count down the days to Saturday’s Premier League kick-off, the Carlos Tevez – Sergio Aguero conundrum has become a major issue for Fantasy managers after the former’s scintillating strike and strong display against Chelsea in Sunday’s Community Shield.

Having looked at the City midfield area in Monday evening’s Technical Area piece, we now turn our attentions to the Argentine duo’s performance against the Blues but first of all, we use the Members Area Comparison Tool to gauge their respective displays over the final four Gameweeks of 2011/12 to look for the similarities within Roberto Mancini’s new formation:

      Jaaskelainen Noble Barnett Demel (2mn in the bank for Torres>Rooney)

      I could downgrade Michu to Dyer and use that 1mn to upgrade yaya>Nasri and A.Cole>Vidic(GW2 for the latter transfer)

      Different but good. Don't like Ireland - villa will struggle for goals this year. You're better off with someone like Noble or Maloney and save your 0.5

    I introduced my girlfriend, quite by accident and/or drunken mistake - I can't recall - to the joys of fantasy football. My concern is that her team looks slightly better than mine - can I firstly get feedback as to if this is the case, and secondly get ideas on how to subtly sabotage her season (to make it easier for you - she is a spurs fan!) oh and before anyone says save 2m for Rooney - we both say screw the fat bastard for at least a month!

        To be fair I taught her at least (0.)10% of what she knows - it bugs the hell out of me as I wish I could be so ballsy (so to speak) from the outset, but I can't bring myself to have no Man U/City defenders and not use the DGW - oh and 13m from the start for RVP just hurts!

        Ahh dude I am assuming from your pic/name you are a fellow Aussie - sadly even she is not foolish enough to waste a position on Defoe - only striker he may be but any Spurs fan surely knows that a 10 shots, 4 on target and 1 goal ratio is no good 🙂

    Couple of quick ones.

    1. Do we think Kolarov will be playing against Southampton. Started the Community Shield, and in an advanced wing back role. so possible attacking points aplenty, but competition from Clichy. Is either really worth adding?

    2. Is there any value in havign a £7mill Vidic over a £6mill Ferdinand.
