The Surgery – Gameweek 1

After a record day for traffic on the site, we’re expecting a further surge for this morning’s crunch before deadline. As a result, we’ve opened our Surgery Chatroom nice and early to help relieve the pressure on comments and give you the option of real-time feedback.

A reminder to our members that the members area has its own domain at members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk should we experience any issues on the main site this morning.

The wait for the new season is almost over, the urge to carry out last minute tinkering building. We’ll follow this up with the first Pre-amble of the season and there we’re over to the Dugout Discussion just before the fist kick-off at 3pm. Exciting.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

To those of you with Fonte in your team; please think about the straight swap to Clyne. Nige has reaffirmed we are after 2 cb's and my view is Fonte is under threat... Chances are that by the time you want to play him, he'll be no longer a guaranteed starter, we're ll expecting Clyne to keep the RB slot for the season.

With that, I wish you all well as I ponder why I'm the only one with beausejour in his team!

May the ffs be with you.

Worry about Valencia game time, more inclined to go with a modest but nailed on starter this early in the season

Can't believe - after what happened last year - that anyone would be mad enough to leave it to the last minute again. Only have yourselves to blame, friends.

Agreed. It's one hour, don't see that they will repeat the free wild card, not necessary.

    Federici
    Ivanovic/Zableta/Hangeland
    Michu/Lamps/Yaya/Guthrie
    Pog/Torres/Aguero

    Subs: DDG/Bale/Nelson/Demel

Feels wrong to bench Bale - quick, someone talk me out of it!
