Following the conclusion of Gameweek 21, we’ve updated both the Career Hall of Fame and the Live version for members. The Career version now includes all new additions to the Fantasy Football Scout leagues and is viewable to all via this link or a new top menu “HoF” link. This table will be updated every week with new entrants.

The “Live” version of the Hall of Fame, available to our Members, has been updated to include points earned in Gameweek 21. This will be updated with the latest rankings 24-hours after the conclusion of every Gameweek from this point on.

If you missed our meeting, emails and telegrams on the Hall of Fame and wondering what all this chatter is about, look below for a quick guide. Alternatively, you can view this movie to listen to myself and Rate My Team’s Chris Atkinson talk you through it.

What is the Hall of Fame?
In simple terms, this is as ranking system which can be applied to everyone in our Fantasy Premier Leauge mini-leagues – both the free and the members league. The Hall of Fame tracks the performances of every manager over each of the seasons they have participated and awards a ranking according to the performances. We have a career table that updates every season and a live table that will be updated using the latest season data, after every Gameweek.

How is my rating calculated?
The “HoF Rating” is based on your points scores from previous FPL seasons, with the latest season weighted the heaviest and each corresponding season weighted at roughly 80% that of the previous season. So, in other words, those who performed best in 2011/12 will receive a bigger HoF Rating boost from those who did best in 2006/07. The “HoF Ranking” even allows for those with missing years, adapting the formula accordingly to allow to rank alongside the veterans of the FPL.

How do I join the Hall of Fame
Simply sign up to our leagues, either the Fantasy Football Scout Classic League (40184-13425), or if you’re a member, the Members Classic League – the code is available on the dashboard of the Members Area.

How do I find myself in the Hall of Fame?
The search box at the top of the ranking tables allows you to search by surname or by FPL id.

What if I don’t want to be listed?
Either notify us via support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk or simply leave the Fantasy Football Scout league and you’ll be removed on the next update.

When does the Hall of Fame get updated?
The Career table is available to all and is updated at the end of each season to display the latest rankings.

The Live version of the Hall of Fame is updated every week to use the latest season data. This version will only be available to our members in the Members Area. If you wish to get access to the live version, you can sign up as a member – our half season memberships are now available for just £10. Click here for details on upgrading your account or signing up.

Have them both, not going to double up on their defense.

Thinking of carring out the strategy you posted. Though with some conservatism.

      1. -8 is a lot of points
      2. ba value sure to drop as he won't be sole focus
      3. ba value a bit overvalued because of a few fluke goals and a handball goal (but don't get me wrong, I still love him)
      4. giroud is a donkey
      5. suarez will still flourish whether front/center or on side... he is just too mobile to be denied and I actually like him coming in from the side.
      6. having sturridge will make liverpool's opposition not be able to totally focus on suarez
      7. is there something else you can do with maloney?

who would you captain this week? if i don't get and captain mata then it's lambert or bale for me

yes but ba would be a one week punt. surely he's a good shout with a dgw and considering torres is due some rest and ba is a much better forward/finisher than torres anyways

giroud is a donkey? well i'm probably getting pod anyways

i can bench maloney and play marveaux...? or i can ship him for oscar? but then won't be able to get pod in for lambert next week

I think Bale at QPR likely to be higher score than Mata at Stoke. If DGW for Chelsea comes through, then it's a different equation, obviously, but given RafaRotation, (and I _do_ think that he is so stubborn that he may not learn his lesson), Mata may sit out one of the two matches and he might be viewed as more necessary against Stoke than against Saints.

probably true, for the short term. i just wouldn't invest in him for the remainder of the season

i've been tempted by giroud twice this season. he is great with balls in the air, but has two left hooves when played to his feet, and that is the arsenal style, on the ground. with walcott up front now and possibility of david villa arriving on the scene, i fear that giroud may go the way of the demented parakeet chamakh and may not be long in arsenal red.

hmmm, maloney or marveaux. like what little i've seen of marveaux, and am personally shipping out maloney after owning him for a while. not sure i'd do the move for oscar as at present you never really know when he is going to show up in the card.

Looking through all these posts i dont understand

    A) The turnbull love (if you using wildcard or points to get him)
Very short term fix , and will need a transfer to remove ,

    B) The point of having three southampton players when they are away in both matches.
Defenders likely to end up with close to zero , mids 4 points from two games if not booked
Lambert will be outscored be berbatov who only plays one game.

On A) not if he is your cheap 2nd keeper option.
Most have Bego and will play him every game until the end anyway.

playng bego every game is not very wise , having turnbull as a non playing goalie would end up costing far more points than the few he gains next week.
Far better to have Jussi as second keeper who has two games next week

My Turnbull love comes from the fact that I can just WC him out the following week, but yes in those situations I can understand. I also think the fact that a lot of people have Puncheon and a southampton defender already means that they don't have to do much to get coverage

      Good points.

      a) I haven't used a keeper other than Begovic in i don't know long. He's cheap too. No worries.
      b) A SOT defender is anyways the 4.0 defender of my choice. Puncheon makes a good 5th. Lambs can be replaced easily, and he is a good 3rd striker anyways.

Simple case of rolling the dice vs. not is all.

Uggh. Bale vs QPR or Mata vs Stoke/Southampton
Really can't see QPR getting up two weeks in a row... Spurs won't take them lightly having seen what they were just capable of. Should be a romp. But if Moses and Mikel already gone for GW22, hard to go against two games worth of Mata. But at a -8 hit? That is the part that gives me pause. If he somehow sits one match or if he plays against Stoke and that turns in to the 1-1 that we all know it is capable of being, then I'm not sure he makes up the difference in the other match.

Really tough call. Wonder what others think...

QPR at home play under a lot more pressure too, once they concede they tend to crumble. I would honestly prefer playing them at Loftus road, i think Tottenham could have a field day there.

My first thoughts are that I can have 2 x chelsea players + puncheon for this DGW with no hits, then 2 x arsenal + 2 x west ham for the second DGW. Again no hits. Its not really worth pulling my WC is it?

I doubt that mata will play both games. And stoke away is probably the worst possible fixture. But should I try to crow bar him in, to protect myself as most people will have him captain.

The most obvious route I can see is a swap for santi or bale. But I would want santi back next week, and I really want bale for qpr. Thoughts?

After taking a long while thinking, I think I've got it. If it isn't a draw today, this is my plan..

    Vorm / Turnbull
    Cahill / O'Brien / Wilson / Gibbs / Clyne
    Fellaini / Bale / Walcott / Michu / Puncheon
Ba / Suarez / Van Persie

0 FT, £1.2m in the bank.

    I'll be going with 3 CHE + 2 Sot + 2 Arse + 1 Wham

Then the following week, I'm planning on doing Ba to Giroud/Poldi.
My point on having Wilson is, I'm Stoke-less, and I'll be transfer bound, and by the time I can carry out the transfers freely, he'll come back.

    So I'll have this.

    Vorm
    Cahill / Gibbs / xxx
    Fellaini/Michu/Walcott/Bale
    Suarez/RVP/xxx

Trying to be conservative since I don't have the second WC.

    GK: Turnbull (tremmel)

    MID: Walcott, Pienaar, Cazorla, Michu

1 FT will be Yaya to Mata if DGW happens, or to Bale if not. Azpi to Sagna/Gibbs for GW23.
Will give 3 CHE, 3 ARS, 1 WHU, no hits and Jan WC intact

    Thoughts on:
    a) Walcott or Caz on bench?
    b) defenders to start alongside Azpi?
    c) captain choice?

Thanks. Probably go with Mata as captain. Moses and Mikel being away is perfect timing. Leaves Chelsea with 7 midfielders for 5 spots, but 1 is Marin (no form) and 1 is Luiz (may be needed in def). Also CHE have 2 games before GW22 for another mid or def to get injured or pick up a suspension. Makes Mata much more likely to play both games.

...ha, so much for conflicting advice. I just think that Everton has been very rarely shut out and that conversely, they have very rarely kept a clean sheet. Michu has been in the midst of almost everything that Swansea do, whereas Walcott is not the only attack that Arsenal has at their hands. I'm just trying not to get swept up in the fact that he had a field day against a Newcastle squad that frankly gave up towards the end and that was injury-depleted from the start.

    Morning all,

Looking at this WC team if DGW is confirmed. What do you reckon?

    Bergovic | Jaskalaneien

    Nelsen | Gibbs | A.Cole | Demel | Clyne

    Walcott | Mata | Hazard | Noble | Puncheon

    Berbatov | Defoe | RVP

and could do Hazard to Carzola for GW23. Gives me 3 Chel, 3 Ars, 3 Whm, 2 South players.

well I've got 2 so I'm going to do one now rather than the end of the month...after all surely we save them for a good DGW or an injury crisis...but I was well set up with Arsenal guys and a plan so it's really annoying that the Chelsea match wasn't scheduled late Jan or early Feb so the guys playing their second WC now would have lost out...they just struck lucky big-time in my opinion

No. He constantly trolls my post if you have a look at different topics, with random answers that rarely mean anything. It may look like a legit post but he does it to every post i make, its incredibly annoying and devalues the question so i dont get responses from other users. I get babel.

fwiw, looks fine, i guess... I don't put much faith in Saints defense even if they have a DGW. Just as likely to get torched twice. Also not sure where the Turnbull love is coming from. Stoke good squad at home and Chelsea not clearly outstanding on defense, so I don't think there is a clean sheet there. Southampton decent offensively, so no clear return their either. He'll cost a transfer to escape from, unless you plan on riding Begovic the rest of the way, and that would be a transfer you might want for something else.

              Feel better now?

Just not wanting to get caught up in the OOP thing. Really don't see him on free kicks for future and he is just as likely to launch something thirty rows deep as he is to put something on target. So I wouldn't chase the offensive returns, and the defensive returns of Chelsea can be had more cheaply elsewhere.

SideShow Bob, on the other hand, is worth 7.6 if he's worth a dime. 🙂

    Morning all,

Quite pleased I played my WC early as I've been able to get 4 Chelsea players in before their double GW (should it happen). Team lines up like this....

    Turnbull, Begovic

    Azpilicueta, Clichy, Dawson, O'Brian, Wilkinson

    Mata, Bale, Walcott, Michu, Marveaux

    RVP, Suarez, Ba

Not really interested in the Arsenal defense despite the DGW as the fixtures are horrible from a defensive point of view. I know Dawson is a rotation risk but I'm willing to go with that for a week or two as I think the cover is okay. My only concern is Suarez as he'll be playing in a slightly different role but I'll suck that and see for now.

Any glaring mistakes? Thoughts very much appreciated!

Don't worry about Suarez. Ba and Az likely won't have a dgw and you're gonna have a long to do list coming up.

Lots of players that you want for these dgw's (chelsea's one could disappoint especially) but you'll be spending weeks trading them out. If you get some injuries and bans it can get messy and can end up losing you a lot more points than you get from these next two weeks. Hence the appeal of wildcarding late imo.

Looks pretty good.. Have you considered Gibbs for Clichy? Could be good for some attacking points and maybe a cs in DGW. Assume you'll get another Arsenal attacker for GW23. Puncheon could be worth a spot if you can afford.

Gibbs i would defo get for DGW

also Ba is not Guaranteed minutes at all. Best not to risk it and downgrade to someone like Berba or Dzeko and upgrade Marveaux to puncheon for DGW.

      Turnbull (Begovic)
      Azpilicueta Huth Gibbs (Davies Demel)
      Mata Bale Walcott Fellaini (Michu)
      RVP Ba Ruiz

Do you think it's necessary that I downgrade a midfielder, and if so which one?
