Olivier Giroud tops our ICT Index rankings for the Gameweek so far, courtesy of his contribution to Arsenal’s late show at the Emirates. In this week’s “Big Numbers” for members, we break down the Frenchman’s performance, whilst offering hope to those who placed the armband with Santi Cazorla. We also cast an eye on the numbers produced at the Britannia, as Wayne Rooney shifted to a midfield role, paving the way for Robin Van Perise to break his dry spell from the spot.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Have been watching something for nearly 2 hours now. Every ad break has the Southern Comfort ad in it. I hope Doosra had a royalties clause put in the contact when he made the ad 😛

This will never happen, but I just made a rough draft for an eventual DGW36 team (if all games were to be played that week). This is for an 8 pt hit...

    DDG
    Vertonghen* Alcaraz* Martin/Carragher
    Bale* Michu* Maloney* Walcott
    Aguero* RVP Suarez

Would mean no Chelsea, no WBA and only Aguero from City. Yikes.

Say what you want about Di Canio but dear god does that man bring the passion, I was almost in tears to see the black cloud being lifted and for us to not only put in a good performance but look like we actually wanted to win a game of football, that we would rather die than lose...the desire instilled in not just the players but the fans is so palpable...today was the happiest I've felt as a Sunderland supporter since probably back in the Peter Reid days...what a club, what passion, I LOVE YOU SUNDERLAND!!! DI CANIO= LEGEND!!!!!!!!! 🙂

Not focusing on City/Chelsea much since that might only be an "on paper" double because of other competitions.

-12 max, depending on how realistic I think I can move up in my country. I'm winning my ML pretty comfortably with a 90+ lead on closest rival and +130 on the next one (BIG thanks to this site and users).

those will be must win games (especially the spurs one) for them if they want to make CL next year so I don't think rafa can really afford to rest key players like mata and hazard

By then, there may not be many teams left with something to play for. Chelsea may still need results to finish 4th (or 3rd), same for Arsenal and Tottenham (maybe Everton?). Apart from that, it will be a few down the bottom. The rest will be cruising.

I'm not as big a fan of football as I used to be, but I just see this as more of a hobby, than it being motivated by actual football. I feel it gives football an extra dimension for me; it makes me more interested in other games that I usually wouldn't care for, as I have a dog in that fight.

Was just after your email address for the ICC comp. We've been trying to select a starting XI each GW and its difficult if we don't know what everyone's planned team is.

If you don't want to post your email address on the site post a comment here http://uefacouncil.wordpress.com/2013/03/16/europa-league-gw29-review-groups-i-l/

MOTD2 devoting a chunk of the show to completed how good Howard Webb was today at the derby...

From what I saw, Sunderland had 2 blatant pens turned down and Danny Rose should've seen a red card.
