Olivier Giroud tops our ICT Index rankings for the Gameweek so far, courtesy of his contribution to Arsenal’s late show at the Emirates. In this week’s “Big Numbers” for members, we break down the Frenchman’s performance, whilst offering hope to those who placed the armband with Santi Cazorla. We also cast an eye on the numbers produced at the Britannia, as Wayne Rooney shifted to a midfield role, paving the way for Robin Van Perise to break his dry spell from the spot.
Is Carroll a genuine option?
Open ControlsWhat are people doing with Rafael? Has brought me 1 point in 4 games. Annoying to say the least.
Open Controls1 point in 5 games for jevans
Open ControlsI'm doing Rafael->Vertonghen ( already have DDG)
Open ControlsI'm thinking of doing the same after the Villa game.
Open Controls
Out for Chelsea defender, would like Cole to be back, have heard nothing about him.
Open Controls
@ towelie - Remember the conversation we had regarding rafael on Friday night?
Open Controls😯 the one where I said Rafael would not play v stoke but you were adament he would and got him in against my advice.

Hi all FFS newbie here 🙂
Been playing FPL for years now and even though I was aware of this site in the past, I've never really looked at it properly until the past few weeks, where I have enjoyed reading some interesting articles and comments, and also listening to the podcasts. It's nice to read stuff dedicated to FPL, especially at these crazy DGW times. Probably will become a member next season.
Also I've discovered that this is where my overall league challengers are! you guys here are doing very well. It's building up to be an exciting finale...
...Good luck 🙂Open ControlsThat is ridiculous consistency from GW17! Good luck, fella 🙂
Open ControlsThank you 🙂
Open Controls
Cheers 🙂
Open Controls
Nice rank mate 🙂 I think FFS have all of the top 5 now 😉
Open ControlsGreetings and thanks 🙂
Open Controls
Thanks
Open Controls
Cheers.

Check out the FAQ page on the footer fella - gives you a guide.... 🙂Open ControlsCheers. I will sort it out asap
Open ControlsI'll get the HoF updated especially. Sorry Evs. It's hurting me too 😉
Open Controls
Welcome, nice opening post. Rank's not too shabby either 😉
Open ControlsCheers 🙂
Open Controls
Hey Spiderm4tt,
Who's posts do u enjoy reading the most?Open Controlswelcome mate!
find yourself a grav and talk more on the boards and you'll fit right in! :D. good luck to you tooOpen ControlsThanks 🙂
Open Controls
Ah Matt...we've been watching you tussling up there with the Scout Leaguers. Congrats on a superb season and welcome to the site - great to have another high rank guy contributing to the community. Now join our league 😉
Open ControlsI was waiting for that.
Code 40184-13425Open ControlsDone 🙂
ThanksOpen Controls
Aye...and I've just noticed Matt's history too. HoF rival ahoy.
Open Controls
Thanks Mark 🙂
Great site by the wayOpen ControlsThanks - out of interest when and how did you find the site in the first place?
We're be making some effort to promote ourselves over the summer a bit more - we've yet to do any SEO work and it's another of Ed's areas of expertise.Open ControlsI first heard about this site on FISO, where there was a post about it early on this season. I've been on FISO for years but never really looked at this site, or any other site for that matter, until we had that recent fixtures re-arrangement madness. I needed more info, I came here and found all the help I needed from you and your users. Thank you 🙂
Open Controls
And tune into the Scoutcast this week. I reckon you'll get yourself a mention!
Open ControlsHaha that would be cool! 🙂
Open Controls
have to say, i'm glad that rvp is on pens. I would have been extremely pissed if rooney (c) took it and missed, loosing me points and giving bego a pen save when i just shipped bego to ddg for a hit
Open ControlsRVP should really have been on them as soon as he arrived, Rooney's never been that great at pens.
Open Controls
Has Unreal gone into hiding? I assume he's doing badly this week? His activity seems to be correlated to his FPL performance.
Open Controlsits quite late here in team india...maybe hes gone to sleep 😀
Open Controlsyou all hanging your heads in shame at me being top scorer 😛
Open ControlsI have faith in the team to claw it back
im on the benchOpen Controls51 and no hit 😯
What shocking management from the coach 😳Open Controlsthat's almost as bad as the Aussie management: http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2013/04/12/ffs-uefa-council-icc-tournament-details-3/comment-page-9/#comment-5591321
granted we have a legit (though unfortunate) reason why it happenedOpen Controls#Milanistaout 😛
Open Controls
how'd you end up on the bench with 51 points this week? 😯
Open Controls5 DGWers, his team didn't look the best for it. Oh balls
Open Controls
When is Neil Taylor likely to be back? wondering if I should sell Wilkinson or Davies for Turner?
Open ControlsSurely sell Wilkinson anyway. He doesn't start regularly, and doesn't have a DGW. Davies' place won't be completely lost regardless of Taylor being back
Open Controlsdone...
dont know how to bench next week...
DDG Robles
Zabaleta Sagna Turner Davies Pearce
Hazard Walcott Santi Fellaini Snodgrass
RVP Suarez Lambert
RVP, Suarez and Norwich players at home with good fixtures...
might have to bench Davies and one of Fellaini/LambertOpen Controls
Those who think Rafael has been more frustrating than Evans, he scored against QPR! When a lot of us got in Evans for a hit and he never played.
Open Controlsthissss
Open Controls
Damn I'm looking at the DGW36 and there will be some MAJOR point hits. At least -12 for my part.
Open ControlsOne reason why I don't want to transfer out any of my triple Chelsea mid..
Open ControlsNice luxury problem to have. I don't have any City/Chelsea/Spurs cover. Geez.
Open Controlsyou're gunna have triple chelsea mid for those tough pair of fixtures? also how are you getting bale?
Open ControlsI am thinking of going with them. Not sure if I will though. Santi to Bale seems like it.
Open Controls
reckon it'll be -8 or -12 for me over GWs 35 and 36.
Open ControlsI'm concerned about the fact that one of city's GW36 matches is right before their cup final..........
Open Controls
If only Westwood knew how to play on the green...
Open ControlsI still have my WC left for GW36 so I'm not keen on saving my transfer this week. Best move I can think of is Cazorla>Bale as I kept Michu. Do you agree?
Open ControlsWait til after Wednesday games
Open Controls
MJ - I guess it was a horrible pun now that I'm explaining it
Down - Lil Wayne
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUbpGmR1-QMOpen ControlsWill North Korea launch that missile tomorrow then?
Open ControlsYou tell us RONH or shall I say Kim Jong un
Open ControlsNot if China tells them not to.
Open ControlsMassive score this week 😯
Open Controls😯
Open Controls
Define missile ?
For once I agree with Jeremy Clarkson " things that have more computing power than north korean missile ? Answer : my dishwasherOpen ControlsSo did Little Boy, probably...
Open Controls
So, it looks like Nani is on his way out of United. Not even in the squad today. Where did it all go wrong for him?
Open Controlswhen he failed to turn potential into consistency. One of the mist infuriating players I have ever seen. You simply can't rely on him
Open ControlsYep, Italy according to one Guardian journo. I think it will suit him there. I don't believe he enjoys the pressure of United, I think he just wants to play and have fun. I don't rate him myself, I've never been too impressed and as everyone agrees - he is not consistent enough. He got us knocked out of a cup in the dying minutes trying to get a goal instead of running down the clock and the Madrid game was another example of him letting us down, I don't for a second think it was a red but still it's another example.
Where did you hear he isnt popular?Open Controls
I may be taking a one week punt on a midfielder in GW34, with my rank it would have to be a differential. Naturally, the first thing I looked at was Reading's opponent.
Any idea if Pilkington will return this week?Open ControlsSurely Snodgrass if you're looking at Norwich?
Open Controlswhy? eveyone all season has been saying this about Reading...this place was alive with it before Liverpool tried on Saturday
In FPL terms, a lot on investment has bene made in Reading's opponents this season with the returns being poorOpen ControlsThey have conceded more goals than any other team in the league.
Open ControlsYes, by conceding more goals than any other team in the league it implies that having attacking players from their opponents can be profitable.
Open Controlsit implies allright, but has'nt always been delivering in FPL terms as I said.
Yeah Arsenal thumped them recently but as we just saw, Suarez failed. Utd only got a 1-0 in March, Man C a 1-0 in December
So there's being a lot of FPL failuresOpen Controls
De Guzman looks interesting, plus a dgw coming up.
Open ControlsDon't go there, he gives you absolutely nothing. Been an owner since January WC.. crap stuff. Swans doesn't do good stuff anymore.
Open Controls
How many people r taking the risk until GW 36 with lukaku?
Open ControlsAm torn between him and Kone for the Benteke spot -- Newcastle at home might tip the scales.
Open ControlsI am probably the only one with 3 wigan players already, so in terms of DGW cheapos he is the only option. Unless Aguero gets banned of course than Dzeko could be an option as well.
Open Controls
Been in and around the 5000 mark for weeks, cant get into top 1000 now - so minileagues from now on..
Anyone a bit depressed that the season is close to ending?
The title has been a borenso FPL is all we have lolOpen ControlsEnjoyed the season FPL wise. UEFA comps really add an extra dimension too.
Open ControlsI find anything else too much, used to play Skysport/Metro etc, but they always fall by the wayside and FPL is all that matters
Open ControlsSorry, I mean the "UEFA Council" comps organised by people on here, based on the FPL game.
Open Controlsjust outta curiosity, which has been your favorite competition that we've put on?
Open Controls
think he meant the FFS UEFA competitions. click my name for a link to our site. check it over the summer for info about being able to participate next year!
Open Controls
If only I had the money to do Berbatov to Carroll..
Open ControlsThese Labrokes ads are really annoying. Give me Doosra's Southern Comfort ad any day 😛
Open ControlsCheers Bap Chap for getting my hopes up
🙄Open Controlsonce again
🙄Open ControlsHe does it specifically to wind you up.
Open ControlsHe is trolling unreal lol
Open Controls
U cant complain
Open Controls?
Open Controlsat least he tries, where are your predictions?
Open Controlshuh? you mean Sunderland?
Open ControlsOf course. I was hugely impressed and loving Paulo on the touchline.
Open Controls😀 It was one of the greatest days...I was almost overwhelmed with emotion...what it means to the club but also to get one over Newcastle...just incredible. I was also sat beside my Newcastle-supporting brother while grinning from ear to ear...what a feeling, Best I've seen us play all season 🙂
Open Controls
yeah and Distin
Open Controls
Dear fpl towers
girouds goal..... Clearly own goal.... Apologies for all the full stops...
Yours
rasputin xOpen ControlsAt what point will the ff site update with remaining DGW?
Open ControlsOnce the Premier League schedules the fixtures.
Currently we're just assuming they'll be in GW38 as there are European matches in midweek of other GWsOpen ControlsCheers... Trying to plan ahead without smashing the points.. I've got Davies already, guessing michu and kone are the only two worth bringing in that week
Open Controls
Good question. His decline has been one of the biggest disappointments this season. I really thought he'd offer a Fantasy alternative to the strikers but he's been a huge letdown.
Open ControlsIt's limited us in midfield options at times, united midfielders havent been an option all season
Open Controls
Terrible today, kept moving the opposite direction to the goal. Unanimous player of the season last year as well - don't think that will be happening this year
Open ControlsAnd Nani
Open ControlsUtd need serious surgery in that midfield, Nani, Valencia, Young, Giggs, Scholes, Kags looks everage also, plus not Rooneys position either.
Open ControlsKags is great. buta
a) he has an injury interrupted season
b) he has not been used correctly. He has only played in his best position once, Norwich at homeOpen Controls
Lee Westwood has done that about 7 or 8 times today. Could so easily have won this thing.
So frustrating to watch as a fan.Open ControlsPutting is a key part of golf. His isn't good enough.
It's like saying....'imagine if Gervinho could finish. He'd be a world beater'Open Controls
Jeez...two more bonus points for RVP....Am I alone in thinking that despite scoring a pen he was once again decidedly average for the entire game...
Open ControlsHe missed quite a few chances, definitely not on form.
But scoring the pen might give him some confidenceOpen Controlshe was average but thankfully he is on pens and not playing in centre mid with carrick
when rdg gk mccarthy doesnt get 3 bonus it tells you something bout the bonus systemOpen Controlsbonus system is pants...I've watched a few games this season where Surez has charged around like a maniac for a single goal and damn well earned it....no bonus...Meanwhile somebody comes off the bench and notches with one effort and walks off with three bp's...that never seems right to me.
Open Controls
any news about rafeal is he naild on for west ham match ?
Open ControlsAnyone up for offering a quick A, B, C of advice?
A) Mignolet, Vertonghen, Nastasic
B) McCarthy, Vertonghen, Zabaleta
C) Mignolet, Dawson, ZabaletaOpen Controls
