With cheque books fluttering on the eve of the transfer window slamming shut, our Fantasy seasons could be transformed by some notable new arrivals. In this week’s ScoutCast episode, Granville and I chew over the latest fresh faces to crash the player list – United’s “Angel” Di Maria and Liverpool’s “Devil” Balotelli.

With just a single point between us and the comfort of top 100k placings, my co-host and I are more than just a little content as we the rule over the current bandwagons and preview another weekend’s action. It won’t last.

      Don't rate di Maria as a fantasy prospect, and I'd rather Siggy than Chadli, though that one I understand more, could be a great pick if he beats off competition from Lennon and Townsend. Looks great otherwise, Sanchez (C) and Hazard should both make up some ground fast for you.

          Assister rather than a goalscorer, bit like Ozil. Great player, and he'll get plenty of points, but he'll likely take some time to adapt, and there are plenty of cheaper options, proven in the league like Ramsey, Fabregas, Mata, Sterling etc.

      Costa isn't that explosive, and may not play this week.
      Balotelli's arrival puts a ? over Studge, and I can always get Mario later.
      Jovetic is the Tevez of this season.
      RVP... well, we all know what he can do.

    Whilst it's a topic...Already commented on it once or twice. This season is looking like it will be all about managing the fallers and buying bargains. Ignore the risers, i believe FPL have made a bit of a botch of the system this time and we will be buying 0.1 and 0.2 fallers all season...Start with Sanchez Eriksen and Mata...

        Exactly... I'm not so bothered about stomaching price drops this year, not with how slow the bandwagons seem to be rising...

        There is a risk that I'll still be under 101m in a month's time though, as a by product of my own patience in certain players... but it shouldn't matter too much...

      Rooney, but either are potentially great options. I don't trust ramsey to do it 3 weeks in a row so I have it on Rooney currently

      Im also pondering this... leaning towards rooney because of the international captaincy and maria boost to the team.. throw in ramseys midweek ventures and it becomes obvious. .although who knows

    This is how im lining out saving my ft for international break so i can have 2fts for injurys or a rejig.. i think its ok.. not great but could well..
