With cheque books fluttering on the eve of the transfer window slamming shut, our Fantasy seasons could be transformed by some notable new arrivals. In this week’s ScoutCast episode, Granville and I chew over the latest fresh faces to crash the player list – United’s “Angel” Di Maria and Liverpool’s “Devil” Balotelli.

With just a single point between us and the comfort of top 100k placings, my co-host and I are more than just a little content as we the rule over the current bandwagons and preview another weekend’s action. It won’t last.

Bed yourself in via this link, or get acclimatised via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      Find out yourself

      http://www.fiso.co.uk/crackthecode.php

      or

      http://totalfpl.com/pricechanges

Neither are particularly accurate at the moment though.

    Hey all,

Assuming Costa plays, Ill only need another defender for this week.
Would you bring in A. Dummet or B. Colo for C. Pieters or D. Chester?

    Thanks in advance

Clyne, Caulker, Moore. Pieters fits slightly better with fixtures but the saved 0.5 would be nice

            Why Colo over Dummet?

  12. RogerC

A few pages back people were saying City have two rubbish fixtures after Stoke game. Please be reminded that City is the champion who scored 100+ goals last season. There is no poor fixture to them.

Both Aguero and Jovetic are great picks. There is always a chance that Aguero might not start in the Stoke game but he will come good eventually.

Costa is yellow on FPL. Don't panic and stay calm and hold your transfer. Come back FFS in 12 hours hoping that Mourinho will tell us more abouy DC injury.

Instead of TFPL or Fiso, I'm trying http://www.fplstatistics.co.uk.

    1. Ludo
      • 12 Years

There are poor fixtures for them, relatively speaking. Arsenal away and Chelsea at home is as tough as it gets for anyone - City managed one goal in those two matches last year.

Pure speculation. Wondering if FPL have introduced an additional time criterion to the algorithms. e.g. price change is driven by x% change in 24 hrs PLUS AN ADDITIONAL y% change in 48 hrs. This change would have a "smoothing effect" that would undermine value chasers, since you couldn't simply make a trade based on 24 hrs of transfer activity (which is easily observed). Instead, the trend would need to persist for 48 hrs.

In essence, this change would prevent value chasers from simply "piling on" once a target % change has been reached during any given 24 hour period.

This theory could easily be disproven if any price changes have occurred after players meeting target thresholds in a single day.

      1. HUMZAH96
        11 years, 10 months ago

Good theory to be honest, it could be true, but it's anyones guess atm

Used my 2FT already. Got issues with Chambers, Baird and perhaps Costa.
Assuming Costa is injured this GW, what to do:

    A) Wildcard
    B) Costa>Jovetic then have 2.7M to upgrade defence or midfield next week

If he replicates last year's points total in this fixture, I'm sure you'll be happy...

I like it a lot better when prices are less volatile. I get that one can resist buying the newest thing, but I prefer team planning without the distraction of whether one might miss rises or falls. What I'm saying (and I know others have said it) is that without the constant pressure of possibly losing value or missing out on a rise in value, one can concentrate on scoring.

But Chelsea TV said he was in contention to face Everton last night?
