With cheque books fluttering on the eve of the transfer window slamming shut, our Fantasy seasons could be transformed by some notable new arrivals.       When I come on I open up all of the articles I missed, sort the comments by discussion rating, and read through the first page of each article's top rated comments, and then I come to the present-day comments 🙂

    Is it just me or are people making too many changes based off a couple of games? Seeing a lot of hate on Sturridge, Rooney, Toure, Sanchez, etc. but they've only played two games. Hard to judge them this early.

              He's fine for the Hull game, play him, but take a look at the 4 teams Villa play after Hull.

              I have Hutton and am keeping as 4m can easily be benched. Think he is the best of the ~4m def options.

      Definitely play Terry and Taylor. I don't think Bruce (and possibly Chambers) will start, so choose between Wisdom and Chambers (if you think he'll start) for the third spot.

    FISO price change table may be working after a fashion now

    On a very quick glance I think FPL have changed their data structure. The last change replaced the key number with zeroes. I think that they've removed the place for the field at all now indicating that yes this change is permanent and deliberate.

    So CTC is picking up the number that is now on the place of the old useful number.

    OK I've woke up to find that there have been no price changes - again.
    I think this confusion has gone on far too long for it not to be recognised with a members article at the very least recognising this, and collating what IS currently known in the community about the problem.
    It's an essential part of the game, particularly in the first half of the season when we're all looking to build as much value as possible for our January Wild Cards.

    Come on FFS, sort it out - speak to the people at fido, totalfpl and FPL towers and feed us back some information or an idea of what changes have been made.

    Really do hate being a moaner, but I feel like this is exactly the kind of thing is what we pay our members fees for.

        PS... You do realise players (us) are not supposed to know the price rises before they happen?

        The confusion at fiso &'totalfpl will be music to their ears at FPL towers...

        They have just changed their algorithm this year, it'll take time to settle.

        Maybe FPL don't want sites decoding their system.

        They could change the formula every week just to stop everyone knowing which day changes would occur

      But Mark isn't really into price changes, he seems to wait till Friday to do his transfers, will keep a player regardless of price falls if he thinks it's the right thing to do, etc.

      I'd assumed they had changed it specifically to lessen the emphasis on 'building team value'

      By making price increases rarer they are calming down the market and allowing people to hold players and wait for the form.

    Hello morning crew!

    I've love your thoughts on this wildcard team - http://imgur.com/1xXavXK (0.2m in the bank).

    Main concerns:

    - the double up for City is hugely risky with Aguero possibly not starting
    - Doubling up on Southampton defence. Although for around 5m I'm not sure there's better options.
    - Should I downgrade Rose or 1 Southampton to 4.5m (PvA?) so I can afford Jovetic to Adebayor

    ?

        Maybe go for PvA over Rose, but I wouldn't change Jovetic to Ade, I'd change Hazard to Sanchez.
