With cheque books fluttering on the eve of the transfer window slamming shut, our Fantasy seasons could be transformed by some notable new arrivals. In this week’s ScoutCast episode, Granville and I chew over the latest fresh faces to crash the player list – United’s “Angel” Di Maria and Liverpool’s “Devil” Balotelli.

With just a single point between us and the comfort of top 100k placings, my co-host and I are more than just a little content as we the rule over the current bandwagons and preview another weekend’s action. It won’t last.

      Best to see if he is slotted right into the startling 11 and if he looks impressive.

      Might be a good shout for a 5th non-playing midfielder if he looks threatening in attack for Palace.

    I have Costa. Dzeko and Murney all injured so I need to make substitutions and maybe take a hit.

    What would you do?

    A) Dzeko + Costa --> Adebayor + Jovetic + 2.5m (- 4 hit)

    B) Dzeko + Costa + Terry --> Aguero + Adebayor + Colocini + 0.5,m (- 8 hit)

        Herrera is about as good as Carrick defensively imo. Yet Scholes (who can't tackle) and Carrick played in a 4-4-2 for years.

    Question

    Can football clubs take insurance policies out on players??

    Just say that Di Maria gets injured and is out for a year can the club get cover for that??

      Yes it is standard practice and one of the reasons for a medical. Clubs will be very hesitant to take on a player they cant get insurance for due to medical reasons.

      I'd rather look to move Lovren and Debuchy. You also have Chambers who will not get so much game time now Per is back.

      LFC defense is leaky, as is Arsenals.
      I'd also consider moving Mata, as you are. I'd keep Costa if he is fit to play.
