As the full-time whistles blow across the Premier League, Mark Sutherns and Andy North react to the events of Double Gameweek 28 and look ahead to the weekend’s games.

The pair both played their Bench Boosts this week and will be reflecting on their fortunes in tonight’s video.

They’ll also be discussing their own team and transfer plans for Double Gameweek 29, with a bit of chip talk thrown in too.

The dulcet-toned duo are live from 9.30pm GMT with this latest video for Premium Members of Fantasy Football Scout, which you can watch via the embedded video below.

Free seven-day trials are still available for non-subscribers, which you can get here.

Aiming to build a team in GW 30 without using a FH. Currently have the 6 outfield players not playing in that GW. Do I offload one this GW with a FT or save and use 2FT and a potential hit to change the team for GW30? Team below

    Doesn't play in 30
    Broja
    Liv
    Salah
    TAA
    Rudiger
    Cancelo

    Sa
    TAA Cancelo Rudiger
    Salah Saka Kulu Raph
    Kane Jimi Broja

    Foster White Liv Ramsey

I would offload one for an Arsenal or spurs player take advantage of 3 fixtures v 1

Who would you offload and who for?

Already have defence covered with White and don't fancy double up for those fixtures. Not keen on losing Liverpool assets so would leave Broja > 5.5 forward of which there are no options for Arsenal or Spurs. Unless I lose Rudiger or Cancelo for a Spurs defender but would any of those be worth starting this week over anybody I already have?

So tempted to take a -4 hit, James & Hoever out for Doherty & Reguilon GW29 so I can have a full squad and BB. Also means I'll have 9 or 10 for BGW30

Oft double spurs defence is brave

    Current Squad:
Foster/Guita, TAA, Cancelo, Cash, White, Rudiger, Jota, Salah, Saka, Coutinho, Laca, Dennis, Broja

Thinking -4 or even possibly a -8 this week...

    A) Jota to Diaz and Bowen to Kulu
    B) Cancelo to Robbo and Jota to Kulu
    C) Jota to Sonaldo and Bowen to Kulu
    D) Some other transfers you see (please list)

Why lose Jota for a hit? He could be the golden goose!

Because Jota played 83' in CL this week and Luis Diaz is taking his spot....Jota definitely will not start both games of the DGW

I’d get Kane. He’s in awesome form, best captain for 30, plus Son is regularly getting hooked early

    Ramsdale
    Taa Robbo Doherty
Salah (TC) Saka Kula Coutinho Raph
    Kane Pukki

    Dubravka ThiagoSilva Broja Saiss

Guess the biggest question is who to bench and order of subs?

    Have I got it right?

Seeing Kane on pretty much every single team on here is scaring me!
But I really can’t find an obvious way of getting him in without at least a -8, particularly when it’s King that needs to go rather than Jimenez who hopefully should play in BGW30 (though not guaranteed!)

    Current team:
    Sa
    TAA Robbo Tierney Reguilon Cancelo*
    Salah Son Saka Foden
    Jimenez
    Foster Broja Bowen* King*

    Thoughts on:
    A) Save FT for GW30
    B) Cancelo + King to Amartey + Lacazette (-4)
    C) Foden to Kulusevski
    D) Cancelo to Doherty
    E) Other ideas?

Have Reguilon stinking up my team so would have 4 Spurs lolly
If I did C, I would probably look at bringing in Toney for King (but probably the following week) given I quite like the Leicester fixture in the blank and his nailedness
Think Foden more likely to play this GW, but Cancelo would rather hold longer term due to value I have in him

Suggest me the best defender to buy for *GW29 only* (except Liverpool and Cancelo). Money doesn't matter.

    A. Gabriel / Tierney / White - Great options long term but for GW29, their fixtures are difficult. Leicester and Liverpool both difficult fixture, but Arsenal has the home advantage.
    B. Dier / Davies / Doherty - Spurs have been inconsistent. Clean sheets against Leeds / Everton does not mean they will be able to do so against United and Brighton, especially away from home.
    C. Stones - City defense has the highest chance of a clean sheet this gameweek.
    D. Everton defenders - Poor form, but two home fixtures. Their home form is still ok; one cleanie?
    E. Newcastle defenders - second best form in the league, but can they keep a clean sheet away from home?

            Agree with that.

I think I am leaning towards Doherty, but clean sheet chances are pretty low for Spurs in both matches. Attacking returns has to make up for them.

      Good Q
MUN noticeably weaker in recent games on their right side (so favouring the Spurs LWB). Conceded twice as many chances here vs left and a number of actual assists vs. zero on the other side.
BHA it’s the other way around but less clear cut.

That would suggest, with Doherty's knack for coming inside when left side swungs in, a lot of Doherty goals from Wolves came tgst way, bursting into the box from right hand side and scored.

I see many people starting likes of lBroja Ramsey and Kilman swhile bench boosting with likes of Saka Robertson and calling it a success

Lets not kid ourselves. Deep inside they really know who the real bench fodders are.

    Play

Weghorst Broja or Dennis? Currently playing Weghorst

    And

Maddison or Digne? Currently on Maddison

    James ➡️ Doherty

    Wilock ➡️ Kulu - 4

    (have Kane)

1.3itb to do Rudiger➡️James when he's fit again.

Means I can keep Havertz + Raphina for their 'easy fixture'

    Who to start...

    Sa or Dubravka

I'd fancy Sa for a clean sheet but Dubravka has a double so torn
    Cheers

Only behind Liverpool in the PL form table:
      https://thefishy.co.uk/formtable.php?table=1
The FPL site showing them as a ‘green’ opponent fixture is a big trap!
