We at Fantasy Football Scout are saddened by the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

We’re aware that not all of you will be affected by the events in the United Kingdom on Thursday afternoon but as a mark of respect for those who are, we will be suspending our content for the time being.

Understandably, there is a great deal of uncertainty over the immediate sporting schedule and we will also be awaiting further guidance from the Premier League on whether (or when) this weekend’s planned fixtures will take place.

wow Salah was on 98.3 and still dropped, Trippier was on 100.6 and no rise, what is going on with FPL stats?

Wonder how this GW 7 pan out. Feel that I am lucky if this GW get delayed or canceled.

Salah seems like one of shopping price bargains now only 12.9. I think he will fall to about 12.5 by gw14. That is when I plan to get him back.

Yeah agree. It would also be sensible to play this weekend, show respect at the start of each game and cancel next weekend if the funeral is on a Sunday.

They're most likely going to be called off but it's a bit ridiculous - With the World Cup this season it's a pretty hectic schedule as it is..

Queen should be remembered at the beginning of each game 1 min silence and done! Life goes on ey? Next weekends Sunday games should be rescheduled or cancelled as it's funeral day but that's about it can't be cancelling 2 weekends of fixtures!

Not complaining though - could give Klopp 2 weeks to get injured players back put players through their paces and reset! Come back a different team after a 2 week break 🙂

will depend if GW deadlines are moved or not. If not it will be a GW of no games and the transfers will stand but if the deadline gets shifted they would count for the current GW - would also depend on when the games are rescheduled, which probably/may not be in the same week. Then again they might do something else if it causes mass disruption to the game.

      Wait and see.

What would be cool, is for broadcasters to play random FA Cup Finals this weekend with QE2 handing Trophies at the End. Some cats will remember who won. But Amerikaners like me wont know. It would be a thrill and fun. Especially black and white broadcasts.

Even if both GW 7 and 8 get cancelled, doubt they'll be giving unlimited transfers to compensate just the two GWs. Can be managed with FTs alone. Or at best can see another FH being thrown in there.

      Lallana gets tough sub opportunities:

      (1) Sergio Ramos body slams Mo Salah, He is subbed on to replace Salah. It's like replacing Pepperoni with Spam on a pizza.

      (2) Chelsea chisels BHA for a top coach, here comes Lallana.

He might be awesome, but dang. It would be much easier to Replace the hapless Frank DeBore at Crystal Palace. No Goals, Wins, or Ties.

Think there's a general rule / idea that nothing should be on within 3 days of the funeral (I know I read it somewhere yesterday but can't remember where), if that is the case then with the funeral being on the Monday after next weekend (19th), it would mean no football between next Friday and the Thursday after. Funeral will be that late due to period of mourning and lying in state for people to pay respects.

Assuming the GW 7 is a blank, if I make a FT now, do I get 2FTs next GW(after GW 7 deadline)?

    Thanks.

No. But you will if you save it.

Cheers. Seems unfair. Would have liked 3FTs focused on the next GW.

with 2FT, does it seem logical to use 1FT in case the gw gets cancelled, otherwise il be wasting a FT

Whether the game week is cancelled or not you should use one free transfer rather than burn one

just thinking this, so if this gw gets postponed the FPL game will still count it as a GW so transfers count (at least that's what I recall happened during COVID). So might be a good idea to use 1 FT.

But we need FPL to confirm, instead of posting useless memes on their twitter I hope they could post some useful information to help. I can't see them extending the GW for example.

But which gameweek are you targeting with the transfer?

next two weekend games likely to be cancelled, surely we get an extra FH? if so, is it best to use our free transfers now? seems like an opportunity not to miss.

Why should we get a free hit? Because we are mourning?

Why an extra Free Hit ? You will still have your free transfers as normal even if the two game weeks are canceled and there are no games ... it will be like a mini wild card for us

Why would we? Games will resume after international break, no need for a FH.

I think they'll extend the season by a week, no worries with that as no tournament next summer.

Listening to talk sport and it's all about the queen.

I don't know why. I wanted to listen to sport stuff.

Same here the TV companies, press and sporting authorities have gone way over the top. A funeral for those who actually knew her and a two-minute silence for the rest of us would be more than enough IMO.

It’s OTT. We’ll be sick of it by the funeral.

Is James still the ”go to guy” at Chelsea? Was thinking of breaking The template with Chillwell and/or Fofana. Any advice?

Chelsea fan here, James is our most best player by some distance. Chilwell would be a great option normally but cucurella has made him a bit risky, and Fofana is great value at 4.4m, as far as I can tell.

Ok, thanks. So I guess I keep James and take a punt on one of them, I really like Chilly

Go for it I’d say, he’s a fun pick. There’s a risk but the upside is probably worth it

Have Cancelo, trippier & Dalot so I can afford 2 chelskis, even if one is risky. Thanks and GL in these strange fpl times

Nice squad depth there, chilwell punt it is then! And thanks, I’ll need it - on a wildcard this week unfortunately. GL to you too.

Could get an extended season though. The fixture schedule was already extremely tight due to the World Cup so it's hard to see where postponed fixtures for the club still in Europe would be played if they progress in the cups.
