Manchester United’s 0-0 stalemate at White Hart Lane on Sunday may well have been two points gained given the controversial dismissal of Rafael, but the performance did little to dispel claims that Alex Ferguson’s side are struggling to wriggle into top gear.

Defensively Ferguson can rightly claim the draw with a vibrant Tottenham side as a triumph, but in attacking terms, United were bitterly disappointing.

With Fantasy Managers weighing up further investment in the United squad with Gameweek 24’s double fixture drawing closer, we use this latest Members article to take a closer look at the statistics from Sunday’s game and United’s performances over recent Gameweeks, to assess whether such a strategy really should be a priority and where our cash should be spent.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Posted this yeaterday, but hoping to get another opinion or two as I'm really stuck. Which option looks best do ye think?
    A) Rooney and Gordon (2 frees for next week)
    B) RVP and Van Der Sar
    C) Torres and Van Der Sar (4 point hit)

if u dont have nani, A.
if u have him, B is a bit stronger but doesnt frees up a transf.

      your team, your choice đŸ˜‰

Not too bothered about about freeing up a transfer really as my team is ok for next week without the need to make 2 transfers (barring injuries), and I will be wildcarding the week after then. Also I do have Nani, so its down to B or C

Asked this earlier but would love to hear some more opinions. This is my team:

    Foster,
    Kolarov,Coleman,Evatt,
    Nani(C),Nasri,Adam,VdV,N’Zogbia,
    Drog,Tevez.

Subs: Krul,Carroll,Jara,D.Collins.(1 free transfer,3.7 in bank)

Last time,I asked if it would be worth taking a 4 point hit to do Drog->Berba and Collins->Vidic,but considering Carroll will still be out for another 3 or so weeks,I'm not sure about selling an out-of-form player instead of an injured one.

Maybe Carroll->Berba and one of Kolarov->Hangeland/Krul->Stockdale is the better move?Although then I'll have to forget about Vidic and also bench Drogba for this week. What do you guys think?

Wow you got almost the same team as mine.. except my defender is Alcaraz for your Evatt.

Also got the same issue as you - Will probably be taking Drog out (can't stand seeing him in my team now) for Rooney/Berb or if I'm feeling lucky - taking out one of my defenders for Vidic/Evra

    Robinson, Foster
    Bardsley, Vidic, Samba, Kolarov, A.Cole
    Adam, Nani, Nasri, Brunt, Bale
    Bent, Berbatov, Carroll

Got 2.2 in the bank and 2 transfers available, any suggestions?

Really don't know what to do this gameweek. I was thinking maybe Brunt out for someone with a DGW but then saw he's got good fixtures coming up and a DGW himself so safer to bench atm. Should i let Kolarov go and who for?

Im personally goin with Berbatov, Rooney just hasnt shown the form so far.

But ive taken a few risks elsewhere, Trying to determine if i should take a risk on Kyle Walker at 4.0m starting aswell and play him over Coleman

A little help please, squad is

    Foster, Gordon,
    Kolarov, Rafael, Elmo, Coleman, Djourou,
VDV, Nani, Nasri, Adam, K Davies
    Berba, Tevez, Elmander

I used my WC last week. I toyed with the idea of dropping Berba for RVP, but didn't....

    So now my dilemma is;

Straight swop Berba for RVP. Berba is on DGW, but good odds RVP can score higher regardless, but doesn't look like Elmander has many obvious opportunities in coming weeks....

Drop Rafael (or Kolarov) for Kelly, and therefore can afford Elmander out for RVP (-4 points)

Or sacrifice Nasri for cheaper midfielder to free up funds for RVP. (My theory is Nasri won't score as highly with fabs and RVP fit..... Maybe....) (-4 points)

I know it's a bit of a ramble, but it's doing my head in as I used my first WC already! Thanks......
