With cheque books fluttering on the eve of the transfer window slamming shut, our Fantasy seasons could be transformed by some notable new arrivals. In this week’s ScoutCast episode, Granville and I chew over the latest fresh faces to crash the player list – United’s “Angel” Di Maria and Liverpool’s “Devil” Balotelli.

With just a single point between us and the comfort of top 100k placings, my co-host and I are more than just a little content as we the rule over the current bandwagons and preview another weekend’s action. It won’t last.

              Well I think he's the better player, and it seems (more importantly) that Poch does too. Rose was better preseason, and is playing well now. As nailed now as he wver will be. 😀

          You'd be crazy to do that - your side is very good. At this early stage of the season it's less of an issue to take hits - to get your side correctly aligned & set up for the future. But get your choices right .....

        Not sure it will help anyone, or if anybody's already done it but I've just gone through and added up who's got the most games on Matchday 2 and Matchday 3 for Ultimate FPL from the scheduled fixtures so far.. It should give you some help when picking your squad to make sure you have players playing on the second/third matchdays.. (This goes up until GW16)

        Matchday 2

        7 games - Everton
        5 games - Spurs, Man Utd
        4 games - Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, QPR
        3 games - Aston Villa, Hull, Liverpool, Southampton
        2 games - Burnley, Crystal Palace, Leicester, Sunderland, Swansea
        1 game - Newcastle, Stoke, West Ham

        Matchday 3

        2 games - Aston Villa

        1 game - Crystal Palace, Hull, Man Utd, Newcastle, QPR, Southampton, Stoke, Sunderland, WBA, West Ham
