Members can now access the OPTA performance statistics from all of today’s games via the Members Area and the new Gameweek filters. Simply use the “GW” dropdown menu to select “Current Gameweek” and use the “Switch” button to filter the stats for Gameweek 23.

A quick glance confirms strong performances from the Chelsea midfield who clearly dominated possession in their 2-0 win over Blackburn. Ramires certainly had one of his best games in a blue shirt statistically, while Florent Malouda could well be amongst the Fantasy Premier League Bonus given his stats on show under “Distribution & Influence”. Other standout performers in midfield include the unlikely pairing of Jerome Thomas and Rory Delap – no really.

Amongst the strikers, Carlos Tevez will simply walk the maximum Bonus points given his two goals and influence stats, while Dzeko’s numbers also look encouraging. The stats also suggest that Didier Drogba could sneak some Bonus Points, despite failing to notch in the win over Blackburn. Elsewhere, Wigan’s Hugo Rodallega looks nailed on for some extra returns, although Antolin Alcaraz appears to have been the outstanding defender on show today and will be a strong rival for the maximum in that game.

Members can check all these performances in detail, with the West Ham vs Arsenal statistics to follow after the whistle at Upton Park.

A reminder that those without Membership can now gain access to the OPTA stats and all the other Members features for just £10 for the rest of the season.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Man City
    Stoke
    Chelsea
    West Brom

    all to win = 11/1

Yeah but for FPL today Walcott is a better buy, I was being somewhat obtuse.
The fact is that you pay extra for consistency - thats why Fabregas is 11.5ish and Walcott 7ish.

To be fair, altough fabs may well come good, Walcott has a superior points per minute ratio, and the opta's show he gets into more advanced positions......

He's been injured for half the season and thus has only recently managed to establish himself in the side again.....

I reckon he'll get more 90 min's and he could be a serious FPL option. He's certainly not getting much competition from Arshavin atm....

No but he certainly seems less assured of minutes.

Not a bad option by any means but i'd rather have Fabs/Nasri myself.

I suppose the point i was trying to make is that on their day they will all get points, so laughing at people for their choice on one particular week is a bit meaningless since the game isn't won on a particular week.

I absolutely agree Walcott is a great FPL prospect, but does this week make him better than Fabs or Nasri? No, we'll see at the end of the season whether that is the case.

And i know you're not one suggesting he is/isn't, but i'd guess all these lol@fabs idiots are the ones constantly point chasing and struggling overall - gameweek mentality

Well he is an idiot, however there are more decent West Ham fans on here than moronic ones so I'll keep any potential glee tempered.
Anyway its true, against us in particular their defending was a joke. You cant stay up playing like that.

They are terrible, Granted (*high fives dodgy pun*). New manager might turn it around, but unlikely.

No doubt, at fault for every goal! Shambolic.

You getting fabs in for your WC side? I'm quite tempted to go for the cheaper walcott/fabs and then exploit the higher end forward options with the spare cash.......

Lads two free transfers and about to confirm Konchesky out Coleman in. If I don't do it I will miss .2 and I need them, my plan is tight.

Should I do it, or you can give me better double game week defender?
I have scouted and I couldn't find better alternative. Already I have Fulham, Man utd, Liv defensive cover. Only other option is Alcaraz, but never mind the doubles, Coleman is playing against W ham and Alcaraz will negate his double when he will score 1 pts against Ars.

    Cheers,

Lampard(C) Fail, but 51 with BAP's to come, and VDV, Nani and Coleman to play, pretty happy with my WC! 😀

Bahaha @ Wayne Bridge. Completely at fault for a goal and then gives away a stonewall penalty.
    Best debut since Joe Cole.
