Your team shows how you can have a decent defence on an absolute shoestring. Just be prepared to make a few transfers and possibly take a few hits sorting it out as other players come into favour.

Besides 'ignore the captains poll' are there any general tips people use when picking captain every week? I havent got one right so far this season and it is killing me. My mini league rival seems to get them right every time and its hurting my team even though I have a better balance of players

Anyone who is not used their wildcard yet thinking of using it for GW26, and then not making any transfers (barring injuries/bans) GW27 so they have 2 free transfers to change it a bit. Might make it a bit easier getting players in just for the DGW who you might not want longer term.

I was considering that but then again you'd get a team that is not really optimal for GW26 instead. Depending on what players you are planning on getting in it doesen't really matter when you play your wc.
