Our Members can now start picking apart the day’s action via our player and team statistics, as OPTA data has now been uploaded from Saturday’s matches played so far. Members should use the Gameweek drop-down in the top right-hand corner of the Members Area to view the “Current Gameweek” statistics.

A quick glance picks out some performances of note that provide some pointers to likely Bonus Point destinations. Charlie Adam’s 3 Bonus looks inevitable given his involvement, which can clearly be seen atop the “Distribution & Influence” table. The same applies to West Ham’s Scott Parker and Mark Noble – the latter could well feature if the Bonus judges take his “Key Passes” into consideration. Charles N’Zogbia’s dribbling talents should see him land him maximum Bonus from Wigan’s point at Anfield if the stats and previous trends are anything to go by. Birmingham’s Seb Larsson also looks in line for some supplementary points – check out his”Influence” from today’s 1-0 win over Stoke.

As for the strikers – Luis Suarez’ first full match stats are certainly of interest – Members can see for themselves how he looks set to rival the top strikers in terms of influence. He, together with Robin Van Persie and Demba Ba, look nailed on for Bonus points later this evening.

We will of course analyse all these statistics, along with those from this evening and tomorrow’s kick-offs, in a Members’ Numbers Game article next week.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

No way as good as Rooney. Even accounting for the height of the player, Rooney's strike is empirically a good foot and a half higher off the ground when he hits it.

You have to consider that it was a spectacular 'winning' goal in a Manchester Derby and a result that all but wrote off the blue sides chances of winning the Prem this season - something the Man City fans were talking about doing this season when the money rolled in a couple of years ago.

i thought berbatov's against liverpool was a tiny bit better than rooney's. berbatov chests it up and holds off 2 players before then putting it right in the top corner in off the bar. rooney was incredible of course and harder to time as it was first time from a longer cross but overall i prefered berbatov's.
what games to do it in though, the winner in the manchester derby and almost the winner in the liverpool game

in a derby/title-fight game winner at old trafford while 70K+ people erupt after a perfectly executed goal, i think not. one of the best united goals i've seen live in my lifetime, yes up there with all of cantona's too even. after seeing berba beat liverpool at home w/a bicycle in a 3-2 thriller, i didn't think that could be topped this season, then today happened - magic!

i can't see chelsea relinquishing their top four status, as much as i'd like liverpool to work their way in

Chelsea suck but Liverpool suck even more. No way in the top 4 for liverpool.

    Statistics were spot on today.

Tottenham have won the most points from losing positions in the league.

Sunderland have lost the most points from winning positions in the league.

    YID ARMY!
