A new version of the Next Six Season Ticker is now live in your frontpage sidebar. In addition to updating the home and away rankings for all teams, there are a host of bug fixes available to all and an array of exciting new features available to our Members.

In a nutshell, the Season Ticker is now fully customisable – Members can not only edit all the team home and away ranking scores to change the fixture difficulties, then can also create new filters to apply to the ticker and, with new import and export tools, they can share them with other Members.

We’ve supplied two new filters, giving Members the ability to view the likelihood of attacking returns and clean sheets within a gameweek or over a group of gameweeks for each team.

We’ve also made the full ticker view, previously only accessible in the Members Area, this is now available with a click of the button from the Next Six Ticker. Using this you can apply the new filters and sort teams over a big range of gameweeks.

Huge credit goes to Pure Olivia for his superb work on the Ticker, making it one of the best Fantasy Football analysis tools around.

Bug Fixes – For All

Non-Members have their column sorting feature back
Double gameweeks are now correctly assessed in sorting
Blank gameweeks are now correctly assessed in sorting

New Features – For Members

Maximise View

Click the arrow button in top left of the sidebar ticker and the ticker will expand to show the full season ticker enabling you to view far more gameweeks than just the default six.

New Team Ranking Filters
Members can now view a ticker which displays the difficulty of forthcoming opponents based on three default filters with the ability to create and add your own. Filters are accessed via the dropdown list under the gameweek selector slider. Scout (Overall) is the default filter.

Scout (Overall)
This is the vanilla overall fixture difficulty view that you’re used to but with updated rankings for all teams of course. Teams are rated based on their overall form home and away over the past 5 games.

Scout (Attacking)
This filter assesses the difficulty of forthcoming fixtures in terms of attacking returns. Teams are rated based on their likelihood to concede goals based on statistics over the past 5 games home and away, together with their overall form.

This means that for each gameweek or set of gameweeks you can easily view those teams that are most likely to score attacking points based on the rankings of opponents. Don’t forget you can use the gameweek column filter to sort teams in that gameweek or the Sort by Difficulty button to sort by gameweeks currently in view.

Scout (Clean Sheets)
This filter assesses the difficulty of forthcoming fixtures in terms of clean sheets. Teams are rated based on their likelihood to score goals based on statistics over the past 5 games home and way, together with their overall form.

This means that for each gameweek or set of gameweeks you can easily view those teams that are most likely to earn clean sheets based on the rankings of opponents.

Create New Team Ranking Filters

If you don’t agree with our current rankings for teams, you can add your own. All the default filters can be edited and, as soon as you begin tweaking, it creates a brand new “You Are The Scout†filter in the dropdown list. This means that you can create your own set of filters from the team rankings that you decide. Effectively then, you can design and create your own team rating filters for full customization of your ticker.

Import and Export Rankings

Not only can your create your own set of filters, you can import and export them to share them with others. With any of your filters selected in the dropdown just select Export Rankings and you will see your set of rankings which can be copied into another users Import Rankings panel.

To Import Rankings simply click on the Import Rankings button, copy the rankings into the available box and then add a Name before clicking Import. This will add a new filter to your Ticker dropdown list.

Filters can be named and deleted using the buttons provided.

If you have any issues with the new Season Ticker – please contact us at support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

What's the news about Zigic? Any chance that he'll start this weekend? Because both he and Nani have decent fixtures this week, I wouldn't be in a rush to get either of them out - especially Nani.

Although I guess RVP has to come in, somehow.

I'd be benching Zigic out of my front 8- so that transfer would mean me benching someone else and there's not many I want to do that with. Maybe Carroll.

Alternative is the dull Tevez>RvP transfer, but I quite like the idea of having both this weekend. Can't afford Zig>RvP by losing any other mid for Adam (who I need for their run of homes).

Yeah, I'd have to take an 8 pointer to be able to finance Silva out this week, and I'm not sure there's any benefit. If Coleman's definitely out, then he's an option to lose as well.

Fair enough. Where else are you generating money from to afford that? Tevez to someone like Gyan??

I'd make the transfer. It's easiest way to get RVP in, and going without him could be torturous. And, like you say, you'll need Adam pretty soon for those fixtures.

Tevez will go to Wellbeck or someone, I'd play carroll most weeks so he would be the cheapie player out of my front 8.

So you reckon losing Nani is worth the risk? I can't see myself captaining him any time soon so I'm tempted.

Yeah, I think you may as well risk it. Fixtures aren't exceptional and there's always the Valencia effect, as well as possible rotation/early substitutions around the Champions League and FA Cup ties.

If it doesn't work out then you'll just still be outside the top 100k, there's not much to lose. (sorry ;))

    Nani, Nasri, VDV, Meireles, Downing
    Rooney, RVP(c)

Redknapp insists he would have played Balehad he been fit for the Wigan encounter rather than resting him in preparation for Real, insisting Spurs' fight for a Premier League top-four finish is his top priority at this moment.
"It's a vital game tomorrow," he added. "If he was fit I'd play him at Wigan, for sure, but he's not available.
"Tomorrow's all important for us. I can't even look at Tuesday.
"We still want to do our best to make that top four, that's our aim. We've got to look to get Champions League football for sure next year if we can.
"So we've got to keep picking up points."

imo this means VDV will play

Young is a keeper until the end of the season for me.

Brilliant fixtures, and if (big if I know, but they were very, very close shaves) he'd have scored the penalty 2 GW's ago and his shot that hit the post last GW actually went in then I doubt many would be getting rid.

He's frustrating, yes, but there's potential for some very good points there.

Ok lads...here is one for you...Im in a competition with the prize fund nearly at 8000 euro. The aim of the game is to pick five players this weekend and they all have to score. You can pick the same person five times if you want (If only I picked Berba five times earlier this season). It has only been done by one person (me), all season and that was back in September. Id be interested in seeing who you all think???

I have Rvp, Dempsey, Suarez, Tevez if he plays and Defoe. Well thats what Im thinking anyway. I dont like Adam away from home and he isnt a consistent scorer. Young is a brave but could work well.

These words "Van Persie passed fit to face Blackburn" is the fantasy football equivalent of being sung to by Barry White, while having dinner (and the prospect of nookie) with Joanne Salley.

Which three would you bench this week out of the following:

Simpson, Vidic, Adam, Meireles, Gyan and Zigic

    ??

Zigic and Simpson have home advantage, but think Zigic will only play half the game and Newcastle just can't be trusted. hmm....

I agree that the fixtures say Nasri but he's been cack recently and I'm losing ground in my mini-leagues so I can't afford another bad captain choice. I was thinking Nani was a safer bet.

Feel free to have a browse of my line up:

    Foster
    Coleman, Kolarov, R Johnson
    Nani, VDV, Nasri, Adam
    Carroll, RVP (C), Rooney

    Young, Smalling, Walker

Hopefully Coleman will be passed fit but otherwise I'm pretty happy with that.

    RVP/Suarez/Rooney

Thinking Adam ATM (possibly injured). Good plan?

Luiz has more chance of scoring, is playing a shitty team (stoke) and doesn't have a blank fixture next week.
