I was to ever give up, it would be because I hate the conflict of interests that it can sometimes cause, like wanting Chelsea to concede, not wanting Drogba to score, wanting Utd to hammer teams when I have Rooney (c) etc...
Definitely not going to quit just because I know I won't ever finish as high as last year.

To be fair on the lad I think Anderson showed signs of the potential you go on and on and on about too. Good energy and ideas but obviously it's hard to get things perfectly right just after injury.
How sad must it be to be Michael Owen by the way? Was painfully obvious how far behind he is in touch and tehcnical ability to the rest of the team when he came on.
