Full data from all the Gameweek matches has been poured into our Members Area. Following the update, not only can our Members examine every statistical facet of the matches played so far, they can also get the first view of our ICT Scout Index with this season’s data.

Members will find the Top 10 performers for Influence, Creativity and Threat on their dashboards, along with the Top ICT Index performers – already, we’ve got some intriguing data to digest, offering some early clues on where the Fantasy Premier League Bonus is likely to be heading. Full ICT data can be viewed by accessing the Player Stats > Fantasy Index > All Players table.

We will be serving up several regular articles based on the ICT Index but Members can read on below for our first initial foray into the numbers.

As a sidenote, Membership sign-ups are still available with our pre-season early bird offer of £12.50 coming to an end on Monday night. Memberships for the 2011/12 season will then increase to £15.

So who is sticking with Carroll?
I think I will, before the Chelsea game today I thought about Drogba but now with Torres starting (and by all accounts doing pretty ok) I think I'll hold on.
His other main rival for me would be Bent - Bent was pretty average against Fulham, besides I have Given, Warnock and Zogs so happy with that.
I would like Torres for his next two, but would need a bit of fiddling with the team to get him in, costing precious points.

He made something like 7 attempts in total, too, so I'll be sticking by him.

In truth I'd rather have Suarez, but there are more important changes that I'm sure most people will need to address.

Going to switch to Suarez soon, but Caroll for now - Suarez looked lively for the first 20 mins but dipped a bit after that and was subbed, wheras Caroll's had full pre season and could get a big haul soon, Suarez in a few games time though.

You will have the usual rotation with utd all season this year. Fergie is worse than Benitez ever was for rotation imo

In central midfield I expect Anderson to get plenty of games but he will rotate with cleverly, giggs, gibson (yes really), fletcher and to a certain extent rooney once hernandez comes back and fergie goes with one up front and packs the midfield with attacking mids like park, valencia, young, rooney, cleverly, giggs, nani etc etc.

Again this is all conjecture but I do think anderson can only be expected to play maybe 60-70% of epl games max.

Only Chelsea player that I would bring it would be Lampard as all of the other attacking players were substitutes or substituted. No guarantee that Torres/Drogba will start the next game as AVB seems to have suggested that there is just the central strikers position being battled out in Friday's press conference.

Torres looked much sharper, but not deserving of MOTM imo, he did miss a few good chances. Bosingwa + Alex great in defence, maybe one of them should have got MOTM instead, since it was 0-0. Lampard didnt do much but was relatively lively, not playing as deep as some might have expected, almost got himself a penalty as well. Nani missed two sitters, it was Young who got 2 assists.

A full Yossi Benayoun will sit on CHelsea bench and get 0, dunno what spare right arms get in FPL but probably also 0, so Cahill at 9 mil is likely to score higher than that 🙂

it's frustrating the everton game was off so we couldn't assess them more and see how attacking cahill was. tempted by him too, not sure i trust saha's calfs

Yeah man it could be a grand game. Was just on the Bohs website there - "Everton manager David Moyes has said that the friendly against Bohemians will give his squad a chance to reach match fitness ahead of their game against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday 20th August. Moyes is expected to bring a first-team squad to Dublin"

on skysports fantasy game rvp has 7 points suggesting a MOTM award. same goes for moses on 7 too. baffled by the former, if RVP played anything like he could arsenal would have won i thought, he had a couple of good passes to latch onto but his touch and/or decision making to try and turn onto his left was unusually dodgy

agreed AB RVP was dire. He had at least two great chances on his right that he messed up. He did not look like his head/heart was in it tbh.

I'd say he is seriously wondering wtf he is doing there when all the big names are leaving for pastures new.

I mean if you were him why would you bother? You get paid regardless and they have no chance of winning a league with the squad they have.

i trust it was more frustration with himself as much as the team and the situation, also possibly slightly inhibited still by the stamp on his ankle last week. comes across as quite a mature guy these days to me, someone who if anything will step up in his role as captain, not get disillusioned by departures around him.

Maybe AB hopefully you are right for the arsenal fans at least but I have a sneaky feeling this could be a case of a lost year for arsenal where nothing good or really bad happens. They should still have enough with a pretty solid looking first team to hold onto their top 4 spot but they have a real battle with liverpool for it.

RVP has been a fantasy fav of mine for the last three years but I know from painful experience the mental state of players can seriously effect their output making once great players look only avg at best. Witness Torres and Rooney last season.

Well it would be easy to knee jerk and get rid of him wouldnt it. The thing is that a lot of people will, and given that against arsenal, carrol with his height and ability in the air, Carrol seems the greater threat. Keep him and you will be laughing.

First week ever of Fantasy Football and done superbly, i feel

Score of 48 with Lescott still to play.

    Given (Al Habsi)

Lescott Riise A Hughes Alex (gabbidon)

    Moses Nani N'Zogbia Sessegnon (Taarabt)

    Carroll Rooney (Holt)

I've have however swapped Carroll for Suarez, long term i think he is the player to have.

I was intending on swapping Rooney for RVP, but i am dubious about that now.

I want VDV in there, in the long term.

Week one - chuffed to pieces with my team! 🙂

Average start. RVP(C) annoyed a bit though. Not sure about transfers:

I'm thinking of banking the transfer and giving RVP, Nani and Taarabt another chance. But if Arsenal is disaster against Udinese, I propably change RVP to Rooney or Torres (Cashley only Chelsea cover at the moment).

    Nani->Young or Taarabt->Larsson/Sess other options.
