Full data from all the Gameweek matches has been poured into our Members Area. Following the update, not only can our Members examine every statistical facet of the matches played so far, they can also get the first view of our ICT Scout Index with this season’s data.

Members will find the Top 10 performers for Influence, Creativity and Threat on their dashboards, along with the Top ICT Index performers – already, we’ve got some intriguing data to digest, offering some early clues on where the Fantasy Premier League Bonus is likely to be heading. Full ICT data can be viewed by accessing the Player Stats > Fantasy Index > All Players table.

We will be serving up several regular articles based on the ICT Index but Members can read on below for our first initial foray into the numbers.

As a sidenote, Membership sign-ups are still available with our pre-season early bird offer of £12.50 coming to an end on Monday night. Memberships for the 2011/12 season will then increase to £15.

Click here for a full rundown of the benefits of Fantasy Football Scout Membership.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Saha, Odemwingie, Zamora, Jones, etc. plenty of options

However, stay well away from Davies. Awful bandwagon to be on.

hmmm. gyan (fitness depending and if you don't already own sessegnon)
saha if you fancy a flirt with a player who usually scores well when fit.
          zamora, solid if unspectacular
fletcher, could inherit pens too now and @6.5 will free up 2.5 for elsewhere. easy to bench at that price too.
should dzeko have a stormer and tevez piss off by next weekend then he could be good value

Would be such a boost for Real if he could keep up his pre season form. Looked a bit more like the Benzema of Lyon that every manager and his dog wanted to sign and a bit less like the lump they had up front last year

I really rate Higuain. Think he should seek a move if he isn't first choice anymore. Could be a great for so many clubs, but I guess it's hard finding one that appeals when you're a RM fan favourite who I suppose are really well paid.

Yeah. The graphic design is very pretty, but the the user interface and user experience are much worse. I don't think they really user-tested it. The experience is just a bit clunkier and slower. Too bad. It's soured me a bit on the whole game, weirdly.

Oh well, maybe I'll actually cheer for my favorite teams more this season, instead of the players on my fantasy team.

Not sure if this has been posted yet but its a piece from another site talking about the ea sports index from last season. Should give some idea of how it works.

    **************
The biggest losers could be players on weaker teams who are seen as the focal point for the team. Adam, N'Zogbia, Parker and to Odenwingie all rank among the biggest losers under the new system. The presumption that a Charlie Adam will get three points every time Blackpool wins appears to be a thing of the past.

Biggest Winner Pts Biggest Loser Pts
John Terry 16 Charlie Adam -30
Patrice Evra 15 Luka Modric -23
    Petr Cech 14 Charles N'Zogbia -19
Edwin van der Sar 13 Cesc Fabregas -17
Gael Clichy 13 Carlos Tevez -15

Is it generally considered ok or is it unwise to make two subs at a cost of four points or not? My plan for GW2 was Dzeko out and Drog in with the £2M I have spare, however after today I'm thinking I now want Torres instead of Drog so need to do two changes.

A four point hit can often work out, just have to think about whether the squad you end up with will get 4 more than without changes. In this case, if Torres starts it could well be worth it, though a lot depends on who the other player is you'd remove and end up with.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking Marveaux out and Surman in, who would be on my bench anyway. What dya reckon? If you hadn't gathered, I'm new around here and to the game!

Close to kneejerking Carroll > Suarez

I always had the transferred planned, but was hoping to hold off until GW 3. Now with Suarez getting hundreds of transfers in, and on penalties, it seems the most logical move.

Carroll will click in next game week. He was really involved in the game.

BTW, I wont be a qualified person to say any comments, after 3 years, I got the lowest score in the first game week of a new season.

Same here, Carroll > Suarez. And i doubt he'll be on pens after missing that 1. I think Adam will take over until Gerrard comes back.

You know, I think he'll keep them if Kuyt isn't playing.

He's a good penalty taker and scored some important ones in shootouts for Uruguay. I also get the sense he's stubborn, and if given them once, he'll fight to take the next one.

He has missed quite a few in the past though. With Adam and possibly Kuyt around, it would make sense to give one of them a go ahead of Suarez.

            Absolutely.

Suarez is such a hothead too, not the best thing for a penalty taker

thing is if suarez isn't taking them he'sdiving to win them so only 1 point difference either way

Carroll is more likely to hurt Arsenal than Suarez is IMO. Price rise doesn't matter as much as it would as he's still cheaper than Carroll.

I was at the Emirates vs. for the Liverpool game last season, and Suarez was way more dangerous. He forced Chesney into a couple of good saves.

Carroll just lumbered around for a bit, then got subbed.

To be fair I'd been looking at CTC not realising Total FPL was up, and his price is going to rise a lot quicker than I thought xD

http://www.fiso.co.uk/crackthecode.php another 60,000 transfers will have to come through for me to want to do that one! As long as there are no price rises, i'll stick with carrol

I don't see the point at this stage. Liverpool usually struggle at the Emirates. We shackled Suarez well last season. Carroll had the most goal attempts this weekend and Kenny has built the team around him. I'd give it a few week to see who is scoring more points. are you really going to miss 0.1?

not exactly the right time to get him, surely other better propsects for gwk2. Save him for gwk3

Doubt Suarez will be on pens for long. After missing one yesterday and having Adam and Kuyt who are both excellent on penalties I think the spot kick duties might be changed. Also Gerard will be returning in a few weeks. Keep Carroll for Arsenal, he's that type of player who will cause Arsenal trouble, even more so than Suarez. But if that doesn't work out I'd definitely do the switch in GW3.
