The Members area will undergo a further upgrade in the next few days, with the addition of the Stats Compare tool. This handy little facility will allow our members to compare any two players head-to-head, using any of our filters, analysing over 100 stats and our statistical maps.

This effectively means you can run comparisons such as “Show me David Silva vs Clint Dempsey over the last six Gameweeks” or “Show me Wayne Rooney vs Sergio Aguero over their last four matches” or even “Show me Wayne Rooney at home vs Wayne Rooney away”. The results will give you a full breakdown of which player comes out stronger, along with a summary and, eventually, a full suite of stat maps for both players.

We’ve created another preview movie which demonstrates the full power of the “technological terror” we’ve constructed. Or something. In the movie, you’ll get to see how we can quickly run a comparison of Mikel Arteta vs Yaya Toure and take a sneak at those Wayne Rooney home and away stats.

The stats compare tool will undergo final testing tomorrow with rollout on Monday expected. Next up, we start adding some more stat maps to compliment the average position chart already in place. Stay tuned.

I'll admit, I hardly use/need any of the stats that the membership offers.

I bought it for 1 reason and 1 reason only - it was a nice way to see the entire fixture list and type it into my Excel sheet.

I've considered setting up the same sort of site. It's simple - but it's not easy.

The simple ideas often make the most money. Simple ideas + hard work = reward.

I run a few sites that make me a full time income, and some, and they were websites covering simple ideas that a lot of people find informative.

Will Simpson be dropped? I was fairly impressed with him last season.
Santon looks to be an awful defender, although its to be expected with converted wingers.
Collocini looks to be the only definite starter for me.

Kag is not a centre mid. Powell is totally unproven, Anderson is poor and cleverly ain't gonna be sending shivers down the spines of barca etc.

Even carrick, he's good enough for most prem games but not for the CL semis and final where united should be aiming.

Cleverly will want game time also, replacements will be made for Giggs/Scholes but maybe only 1 big signing like Schneider to cover them.

Really ? i'll say it now... i don't think anyone on this site will own him because all too good judges. Borini was very average at Chelsea, but Rodgers is a mastermind and does love the kid. Just can't see him putting his own job on the line by playing the boy more than a couple of times all year

It will all come down to if he is nailed on and price. Fixture wise LFC fairs well against the top 4. Its the others that seem to catch them off guard. Drawing MU and MC at home last season 1-1 and getting a goal in a 1-2 loss to Ars. I think Rogers will instill a more attacking football mindset than Dalglish did. From a fantasy point of view he could pan out at the right price.

naw dude, i'm a Hibs supporter, Its a certainty that Celtic will stroll the league for the next 3-5 years or more but supporters dont just go to games against Rangers. There will still be decent games without them. I personally think it might bring out more fans to the other games as more teams will have a chance of getting into europe without Rangers being in the league. Its not all doom and gloom.

it depends on how you look at it. If you want silky slick football then scottish football is not the place but go to a Hibs v's Hearts derby and tell me theres less passion there than most English games and I'll tell you your talking nonsense, smaller crowd yes but every bit as vocal and passionate as any league game in the uk. To be honest most people south of the border hardly pay any attention to what goes on up north outside of the old firm, You support your local team through good times and bad, win or not, its not all about glory hunting. Not everyone is lucky enough to be brought up next to Old trafford or Celtic Park etc. Some of us get the rough end of the stick but it doesn't matter one bit. we still go along to support the local team.

doesnt surprise me one bit. rangers wouldn't have got anywhere near celtic in the last 15-20 years had they not ran up the £130 million of debt. If you took that kind of money and threw it at Aberdeen, Dundee United, Hearts or hibs then they would probably have given rangers a run for their money. Portsmouth are a prime example of living beyond their means in England. It won them an F.A. Cup but look at the mess they've had to deal with. The top teams in the EPL have over £1 billion of debt between them, football is in a shite state. One day its all going to come crashing down

Also think of the boost that lower league sides get with a guaranteed visit from Rangers in their season.

it will certainly help them, but, maybe not as much as people think. In the Scottish Premier league Rangers would generally take a travelling support of about 5,000 to away games. Thats not going to continue when they play Annan Athletic or East Stirling on a cold December night. There will no doubt be a hardcore support but how long are they going to be happy going to 3rd 2nd and then 1st division grounds. I think they will probably take about 1,000 to away games and maybe big crowds for decent cup games. home gates of about 15,000 in the 3rd division if they are lucky. the first couple of months there will be a big support as a show of support but then i would expect it to ebb away a bit as time goes on. Time will tell.

Tough one due to timing with these vets not done yet! no doubt in my mind Jones and Smalling were brought in to share the future with Evans as the next 10 years' centre-halves, but the old boys wont go away. Ferdinand the twat still crying over international selection. laughable.

Vidic to share this season with the other 4 lads. I will be locking in the former
