anyone else thinking of dyer? he scored better than his price tag all last year, hes pretty nailed on the wing, with not knowing what to expect from new boys Michu and de Guzman, and how they could affect the likes of Sinclair and Graham, why not just go dyer as your cheapest mid? with the fixtures, seems such better value than maloney or noble for only .5 more. Any of the 5 swans mentioned could emerge the one to own, i dont like my odds of guessing right, some im going to just go cheap. Fuzzy logic at work.

Good afternoon guys, how is everyone's tinkering coming along?
Just wanted to raise a talking point and get some views on it.
Having just changed my defensive plans from 1 Big and 2x2 rotating, to 2 Big and 1x3 rotating I am much happier with the solidity of my backline. Of course this brings with it an increased portion of the budget into defence, but I think the extra 2m will prove to be better value (25m up to 27m invested) in the long run.
MUN MCI with FUL SWA rotating almost perfectly with RDG filling in with their good fixtures.
I have also planned for the eventuality of seamlessly dropping back to a 2x2 rotation with one transfer, thus saving 2.5m, should a viable option become available.
Was interested in finding out your thoughts and current planning on this.Open ControlsI'm going for NEW/SUN and WIG/QPR in my 2x2 defence. I'm confident they will all be tight at home so should get a few CSs.

I don't usually go heavy in defence but it looks to me where this is where the real value is this season (as well as perhaps up front but the 'must-haves' limit choice there).
Reading are obviously over-represented but I figure their DGW reduces the risk while we wait to see who is a starter in the budget categories.

To be honest, I don't much like your team. If Pog punt fails you'll have a job finding the extra 1 million to change him, especially if you're still intent on Torres to Rooney.
You have 3 cheap mids and one that hasn't kicked a ball in the premiership. I think you need to lose Baines and beef up the midfield. If you are dead set on Everton perhaps consider Guthrie to Pienaar with the money you save from downgrading Baines.Open Controls
I think heavy investment in the defence is clearly underrated, at least for the beginning at the season.
