Batten down the hatches, Granville’s wildcard is active. Having suffered an abominable Gameweek 2 mauling, the Mancunian has shuffled, tail between legs, back to the drawing board. The excuses and justification are spread thickly throughout and Granville even calms his jerky knee long enough to strike back at my decision to transfer in Eden Hazard: the cheek of the man.

The usual regulars are, of course, scattered about this nonsense, including a record breaking “All Aboard” the weekend preview and the recent failings of the ScoutCast XI.

Grab your protective suit and listen in via this link, or use the handy player below to stream in your browsers.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Please Rate WC team. I have one 4.5 keeper who i will trade when fixtures suit accordingly. Or when i get enough profit to buy another keeper.

    ———-Juicy(Cerny)———

You sure Berba will start alongside Petric?? I'm not sure he'll hit the ground running straightaway! This team might have to get better defensively

Selective memories re berbatov, or berbaflop as his frustrated owners dubbed him. At his peak, starting regularly alongside Rooney, nani & co he was frustrating. 10 blanks for every hattrick. If you want a flair pick, lukaku is your man 😉

Yes well aware. Dig deeper and you'll see, espn soccernet should have the stats. He can score 3,4,5 in a game without raising a sweat then nothing for the next month. Fixture difficulty has no effect too. Completely unpredictable

According to Forca, Petric is naturally a support striker so you would expect him to start behind Berba. Having said that I wouldn't get Berba this week.

    RMT for this GW.

    Friedel
    Hangeland Cuellar Zab
    Michu Nasri Valencia Bale(VC)
    Tevez(C) Podolski Ba

    Subs: Fed Clyne Cole Guthrie

I hope the news that the Lloris transfer to Spurs has collapsed is true as I get to keep Friedel.

Also in this game the 3 forward spots are so valuable as, well, there are only 3! you can take more risks in the mid and defence but you need those striker spots filled with quality and captain options

it depends how willing you are to take a risk? Im not sure on his starting chances but at a guess i think he will. Also points hits are fine imo if you plan to keep the player for a while.

In short IF ade starts this week he will outscore Pod imo

I think Podolski will hit an assist or goals up next even though Arsenal have tough fixtures. We can't just operate under the belief that when a player can't score even in small games, they certainly won't score in big games. 😆

I have my doubts about Arsenal as an attacking unit at this moment. There is something missing in attack especially when they get to the final third. The transition play from midfield to attack is good but something is amiss when they are in the penalty box.

    Hi All,

Would Appreciate opinions on my WC. Particularly defence. I am happy with midfield and Front. Will transfer out Jussi for another 4.5 keeper once West Hams fixtures get bad.

    --------Jussi(Cerny)-------
    -Baines-Williams(Swansea)-Clyne (Demel, Gunter)
    -Bale—Kagawa-Michu—Hazard—(Guthrie)
    ---Berbatov—RVP—Tevez

    Thanks in advance

i like it! Obviously people will say your defence is weak but your midfield looks strong, you have rvp and tevez up front and taking a bit of a gamble on Berba which is what this game is all about- not just having identical teams but taking a risk a getting points form players others dont have.
You also have 4 good captain options in bale, rvp, tevez and hazard

Thanks for the feedback. Obviously defence had to suffer with that Midfield and front. But at least i managed Baines and Williams who i can easily ship out for Newcastle defenders for fixtures.

I can also manage 4.5 keeper trades according to fixtures.

Its a Great time...especially the mid and frontline. only problem i see is ur only playing keeper is Jussi, along with a weak defense. aso west ham defense doubled up with jussi. this could hurt you on a long run. for a team like yours i would dissolve baines and distribute across the defense. that would make it perfect!!

    Hey fellow deadzoners.

Was wondering if I could get a few opinions on these hits.

4pt hit to trade Mata to Yaya. Yaya would then play instead of Clyne.
4pt hit to trade Clark to Kompany. Kompany would then play instead of Clark.

Im considering possibly taking both hits.

So the question is will Yaya and Kompany outsore Clyne and Clark by 8? Or should I just do one of the hits or none?

Maybe it'll end up being 9.4 or 9.5 to about 10.9 but even so, I'd sooner keep that £1.5m elsewhere as long as Tevez is getting starts.

Relax, wait till the transfer window closes, and then you can decide.

If he is still a part of Spurs, I reckon he will play 60 minutes which is better than Noble's 90 minutes any day.

I doubt he will start tbh. Surely all this speculation would have taken its toll and perhaps he would have liked to go to Hamburg and will be bitter at not being released.

Apparently he's agreed terms with Hamburg but the bid was rejected by Spurs as being too low.

I don't think he will be sold but it concerns me that VDV seems to want to go. I can't see him starting if he's 'unsettled'

From reading AVB's comments it seems as though it's just a matter of upping the fee. I think they bid £9m but Spurs want 15. They could well end up compromising somewhere in the middle.

Have the same dilemma. Starting VDV anyway, if he plays he may score big. Don't expect anything from Noble tbh.

And to be fair even Noble has been subject to some transfer speculation.

cant wait to see Berbs play for Fuhlam. At 6.9 that looks tasty. Big coop for Fuhlam - anyone know why he choose them?

Spent most of his career in England and his wife is settled. Better quality league.

It's not like he's turning down the Juventus of old, sure they have champions league football but they've more more hope of winning it than Ajax or Porto.

Having said that if it was me i'd be looking fr a house in Turin by now.
