With time to reflect on the first three Gameweeks of the new season, we roll out the first of a two-part series of Members articles. Focussing on overall team stats, we analyse the performances in front of goal and at the back so far, slicing up the key data in order to ascertain the most impressive performers to date:

Using the featured table in conjunction with the Goal Threat table under Team Stats in the Members section, we turn our attentions to attacking potential thus far:

Turn it off for short time as it might mean your ac has accumulated to much moisture. This usually happens with older ac units when it's really humid and hot for a long time.

Redivert the water with some piping if it doesn't stop

You could still have Maloney as the one you'd regularly bench but on the occasions he does break into the team you have a much higher chance of him surprising you with a goal or assist over Guthrie imo. Guthrie could be playing as a striker for 3m for all I care and I still wouldn't have him. But I do understand where you're coming from, personal preference I suppose.

I really want Sunderland coverage but it'd mean kicking out Pienaar which I can't bear :/ My front 3 are too good for Fletcher too so there's no chance of me getting him.... Ade VP Tevez

If you ask me, I desperately wanna get Lambert in. That'd save you a million too. But I don't know, Fletcher looks good too with Cazorla in. Snodgrass to Cazorla and Ade to Fletcher look good really.

Cheers for the thoughts. I do think Lambert seems to be an absolute gem but I also feel that this Ramirez could potentially be the next Michu/Siggy and take the value pick by storm so I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon early.

Too heavy mid. And that's the reason why your def is suffering. Bertrand won't get many starts now with Marin back on the wings. Jenks days are limited and if you're on wc, you should get him out.

Argh that is so frustrating! Do you reckon Popov will be a starter for WBA? I'd like him in for Bert then and waiting on Jenks 'til Sagna is back because buying Met now would mean I'd have a long route if I wanted Ade and Snod back in my team in the future.

If I was you I would take Valencia down to Michu for this week, then use the money next week somewhere else possibly get Hazard for Bale if he fails again.

Valencia at home to Wigan as my only united overage atm tho...yaya to michu leaves me with 0.8 and still enough to do bale to hazard if he fails?

Actually thinking about it scrap that then, Keep Valencia for this game, and keep Yaya... save this transfer and then have the 2 FT for next week so that you can do a double swap.

You think the team is good enough to get through gw4 to allow me to do that? My main worry is Rvp tbh but he would require an 8 point hit. Not too concerned about hazard or michu as I feel Torres and graham can compensate for them.

That is exactly my point, I think it is good enough and with the Torres and Graham coverage they could outscore Hazard and Michu, but you have Valencia for United coverage... and it's too much to get RVP in at the moment for you. The only doubt is for your keeper.

Just to clarify I did say Relegation BATTLE, not that they will be relegated. As someone pointed out Arsenal were here last season but they had RVP. Liverpool have a 17 year old who hasn't scored a premiership goal yet, A uruguayan who loves hitting the post and a guy called Borini who is yet to prove himself as a goalscorer. They're screwed if things carry on the way they have.

Vermaelen, Baines, Cuellar, Demel, Clyne/ Gorkss (not sure which yet)

Same as below, Foster and Jaask rotate horribly. Jaask and Sorensen are the best for rotation but fixtures are tricky for a few weeks.
Get Davies at Swansea instead of Gorks/Clyne
      I'd ditch Cazorla for either
      - Toure, far better value or
HBA and upgrade Guthrie to a penalty taker (Noble, Larsson, Walters, Maloney
Otherwise I like it cos most of the other players are the same as mine!!
      Good luck

          Why not
By better value I mean that Toure and HBA will score the same as Cazorla but they're both cheaper. In that case its a no brainer.

You aren't talking about Long term are you? Cazorla is central to whatever Arsenal's been doing. Toure is certainly overperforming and may have to sit in deep soon when Silva finds form. HBA looks a good option with those fixtures, but certainly, after GW6, its Cazorla all the way.

Youre right, Caz has been central to Arsenals play but I wudnt spend 9 on him - unless he gets penos - i see Arsenal struggling for goals this season.

I estimate HBA and Toure going 8 gls 10assts for the season with 15bps.

Unless Cazorla suddenly turns into a goalscorer at Arsenal i think he's overpriced

One player disregarded at the moment (with good reason probably) is David Silva. However, I'd imagine it's only a matter of time before he gets back to his usual self and becomes an assists machine. To a large extent Tevez has compensated for the lack of Silva's creativity this term. Same goes for Yaya and his form, a lot of down to the lack of Silva magic.

Berbatov or Fletcher for my 3rd striker spot? I don't think there is much doubt that Berba is the better player and he may well be on pens however i think Fletcher will probably get the better service with the likes of Larsson, McClean and Johnson providing the crosses. Danny Rose isn't half bad either!

I tempted to go with Berbatov simply because he appears to have the marginally easier game in GW4 although having Man City in GW6 probably evens that out.

In fairness, Fletcher has already scored 2 goals on his debut while Berbatov is yet to prove his worth (hardly got the time to mind you) But I think assuming Berbatov is going to be amazing right away is a risk.

For 7m i'm not expecting amazing. But he is a proven quality player and with pens a likely bonus i'm very tempted. Like i said below i can see Fulham being more explosive and Berba picking up big scores whereas i never expect Sunderland and Martin O'Neil to win by more than a goal

Yeah, tight call - both good options. Berba maybe more chance of the big score whereas Fletcher to pick up goals with more regularity? Fletcher to keep doing what he's done the last couple of seasons, Berba with the chance to shine having been under Rooney's shadow at Man U?

I've brought Di Santo in me.

Berbatov created five chances in 45 minutes in his debut. Fletcher had two goals in p ly two chances. Very lucky. Mark didn't have Fletcher in the scout picks because of the lack of chances and th fact that Villa didn't have a lot of possession time.

Am willing to fall on my sword regarding Cazorla. Good player no doubt but I just think he'll fade as the season goes on. He's not a goalscorer and i cant see anyone to take up the assists, no goalscorers in that arsenal team, at least not of the ilk they had before in Henry and RVP.

Interesting that most dont like the 'expensive defenders' and prefer to spend the money further fwd.
      The thinking was

      Jaask/Begs
      Cole Baines Verm
      Michu HBA Hazard
      Tevez RVP

was 9 players you can play every week then supplemented by the home player from Maloney and Noble (they rotete well and both on penos) along with Lambert brought in for Petric next week

I may have to rethink and spend on another 'decent' mid or fwd.

I would have thought you'd easily get away with (and get more value out of) only 2 'big hitters' and a rotation system to fill the other spots in defence.

Michu's also not played anyone of any real quality yet so though he's performed consistently, for me it would be rather too early to be regarding him as a candidate to play every week.

Yeah i see your logic. Baines and Verm have the danger value of most mids their price so I stuck them in. Beyond that I reckoned Chelsea were best bet for a CS at any ground and cole best for assists (maybe I analyse this game too much!!)

But Michu, i saw a lot of him in spain last week and if Swansea keep playing open attacking football (which is all Laudrup knows) then he will score lots this season.

Cole may be the first to leave my team for a 4mill defender IF I can spot the 'cert' for the extra dough over Maloney or Noble.
Anyway mate, I'm waffling too much here after a skinful of beer - better go sleep it off!

Last week I posted kag vs yaya for the bench, got a resounding 'neither', and lateriser sensibly said I needed a benchable mid...but i've been thinking about that - doesn't rotation still matter in the midfield? The implication is that it's possible to have 5 midfielders that will score well every week regardless of fixtures... can that be right?

If I understand rightly I think the point is that if you're having to make a decision over benching an 8m or an 8.5m player then your funds are unlikely to be optimally distributed across your squad. Out of curiosity, who were you playing ahead of them?

Haz, pienaar, michu, tev, torres, petric. Other options for benching, although petric is a 'strike at home' etc. I like your point about distribution, particularly as backs are acting more like wingers these days.

Last season I had 4 mids and 2 fwds that I played every week. my other mid and fwd were budget options who rotated well and took penos so i just played the homer every time. They were Walters and Holt so it worked pretty well.
If i had 5 mids to play every week my 3rd fwd wud be the cheapest nobody i cud find but I would never bench a player like Toure or Kagawa - that money and class can easily do it in any match

Youre right of course, its defo less likely but because youve soent the 8.5 mill on them your team is weaker elsewhere because of that so youre likely benching them for a perceived 'weaker' player....
Fior example will Kagawa away to stoke score better than Nolan at home to Norwich?
Probs nolan is a better bet but after spending 8.5 i just wudn't have the balls to bench Kag!!!

Assuming hes on penos along with direct and indirect free kicks and corners he'll score as many goals as pienar and probably as many assists too.

so far he's scored ONE goal which was form an offside position. there's a reason spain played with a false nine for a good portion of the euros....

and for now hazard should be plenty enough of chelsea attacking coverage. plus if you look they have two good fixtures followed by about 2 months of rough fixtures and then a blank. not too keen to have two chelsea attackers for that period of time.

and look how much better your team could look without torres. and I think at least onen of lambert/berb/fletcher will become a standout budget forward this season.

and worst case if he explodes you can easily take one hit and get torres in, shouldn't be that hard

you make a very persuasive argument.
my idea about tores is not fully set in stone and it may change dependent on aguero.
the thing that is keeping me clinging on to torres is that the past three games, he's played so much beter than he has done for at least the past three years and he's absolutly nailed on

actually get demel instead of the 4.0 swanas defender because we don't know who's nailed on.
and then maybe get krul/foster/schwarzer/mig depending on who you can afford and who you want. or szczesny. though idk when he'll be back but he should be very good value!

was thinkin foster to. my thinking is to get a very unspectacular defence with maybe 1 decent def and improve on my incredibly strong front line and mid. not sure if it will work tho. will i miss the CSs. Thats why am thinkin about baines one good def who always plays and rotate 4 shite def dependant on fixtures. 3-4-3

play a 343, that's what i'm doing but with a bit more balanced team. 4 defenders that are decent to rotate

            ddg, fed
            baines, cueller, hangeland, boyce, fabio
            hazard, hba, pienaar, michu, marveaux
            rvp, tevez, graham

            if i had a 4-5 ft's now i'd switch to this squad:

            szczesny, fed
baines, cueller, hughes/ridgewell/saylor, boyce (for a few more weeks), demel/4.0 swans def
            hazard, hba, pienaar, michu, guthrie
            rvp, tevez, lambert

gives me one strong defender with 4 defenders to rotate that all have decent cs and/or attacking potential, 4 good mids, a playing cheap defender to have on the bench in case i need him, two big hitters up front and one cheaper forward that should score well. I think that the upgrades i'm able to make from having graham/lambert should more than suffice for the extra points (if any) that torres gets. plus i think that lambert should score as well as torres. he's had far harder fixtures and already has more points than him

Well it's not pretty but you could go with Demel, Clyne / Fonte and take a chance on Davies being Taylor's replacement at Swansea. Alternatively there's Gorkss as a budget option or you could perhaps consider replacing Maloney with say Guthrie and getting another 4.5m defender (Clark for 4.4m?)

I'm playing the big three upfront too but I've opted out of the Hazard bandwagon so I'm a little more free for my defence. My plan for the Everton coverage (I'm going into GW4 with none) is replacing Torres and Ivanovic with Baines and Jelavic for GW6 (assuming no injuries / other catastrophes strike before then!)

this was exactly the point i got to. and hazard, i know, bandwagon aside he's guna continue to do awesome, if he slumps i may change to bale if he stars firing

We are not competing for who posts 1st 😉
My Laptop's screen has ruined , so I have got a desktop for few days.
It switched off during price changes, hence the delay.
