Following the conclusion of Gameweek 21, we’ve updated both the Career Hall of Fame and the Live version for members. The Career version now includes all new additions to the Fantasy Football Scout leagues and is viewable to all via this link or a new top menu “HoF” link. This table will be updated every week with new entrants.

The “Live” version of the Hall of Fame, available to our Members, has been updated to include points earned in Gameweek 21. This will be updated with the latest rankings 24-hours after the conclusion of every Gameweek from this point on.

If you missed our meeting, emails and telegrams on the Hall of Fame and wondering what all this chatter is about, look below for a quick guide. Alternatively, you can view this movie to listen to myself and Rate My Team’s Chris Atkinson talk you through it.

What is the Hall of Fame?
In simple terms, this is as ranking system which can be applied to everyone in our Fantasy Premier Leauge mini-leagues – both the free and the members league. The Hall of Fame tracks the performances of every manager over each of the seasons they have participated and awards a ranking according to the performances. We have a career table that updates every season and a live table that will be updated using the latest season data, after every Gameweek.

How is my rating calculated?
The “HoF Rating” is based on your points scores from previous FPL seasons, with the latest season weighted the heaviest and each corresponding season weighted at roughly 80% that of the previous season. So, in other words, those who performed best in 2011/12 will receive a bigger HoF Rating boost from those who did best in 2006/07. The “HoF Ranking” even allows for those with missing years, adapting the formula accordingly to allow to rank alongside the veterans of the FPL.

How do I join the Hall of Fame
Simply sign up to our leagues, either the Fantasy Football Scout Classic League (40184-13425), or if you’re a member, the Members Classic League – the code is available on the dashboard of the Members Area.

How do I find myself in the Hall of Fame?
The search box at the top of the ranking tables allows you to search by surname or by FPL id.

What if I don’t want to be listed?
Either notify us via support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk or simply leave the Fantasy Football Scout league and you’ll be removed on the next update.

When does the Hall of Fame get updated?
The Career table is available to all and is updated at the end of each season to display the latest rankings.

The Live version of the Hall of Fame is updated every week to use the latest season data. This version will only be available to our members in the Members Area. If you wish to get access to the live version, you can sign up as a member – our half season memberships are now available for just £10. Click here for details on upgrading your account or signing up.

    Think I might completely invest the WC in this DGW in an attempt to shoot up the rankings..

    Mignolet (Jaask)
    Demel, SHAW, LUIZ (Shawcross Davies)
    MATA, PUNCHEON, Michu Walcott (Cazorla)
    BA, LAMBERT, RVP

    6 DGW players.. then
    Luiz - Gibbs
    Puncheon - Joe Cole

    for 6 DGW players the next week.
    Surely it should lead to a pair of green arrows..

    According to the bookies we're got a 25% chance of avoiding double-double-game-week chaos.

    Here are my options if the draw doesn't come through tomorrow:

    A.
    GW 22: Cazorla & Begovic -> Mata & Turnbull,
    GW 23: Benteke & Azpilicueta -> Podolski & Gibbs
    8 DGWers, 8 point hit

    B.
    GW 22: Cazorla -> Mata,
    GW 23: Azpilicueta & Foster -> Gibbs & Szczensny
    7 DGWers, 4 point hit

    C.
    GW 22: Peinaar, Nastasic & Begovic -> Mata, Shaw & Turnbull
    GW 23: Azpilicueta -> Gibbs
    9 DGWers, 8 point hit

    D. Keep it simple and don't bother with Mata.

    What looks best? I'm thinking C.

    Any advice would be much appreciated.

        I'd rather save my winter wildcard til as late as possible so I wont have a team overrun with DGW players and I'll have a chance to include any players who are bought late in the transfer window (which is why get a winter wildcard)

        Gunna play my WC after GW 23 or 24 so it will only be temporary. I might go with Szczesny and Guzan in my WC team so I'm not bothered about selling Bego.

          If you wildcard right then your team uisnt overrun with DGWs
          Mata Luiz Gibbs Walcott are legit long term template players

    Good afternoon DZ, just got back from a lovely little 4 day getaway... we were camping in this beautiful idyllic town just North of Hervey Bay... thoroughly enjoyed it...

    Anyways, another DGW? Jesus H Christ, I'm not prepared for this at all... If it is confirmed after the FA cup game, I might just use the WC (but I might need some hits to fix the team if I do)... alternatively I could take some hits for the DGW, then fix the team after the DGWs...

    Anyone got some bright ideas as to how best to manage this?

      Hey Zep, did you manage to get over to Fraser Island whilst near Hervey Bay? Great spot there!

      I think the best play is to WC this week and get 10-11 DGWers. Since CHE and ARS have decent fixtures after the DGW there's not mad rush to get rid of them, plus if you have a cheapie WHU (Demel) and SOT (Clyne/Fonte) in defence then again they can be bench warmers so no mad rush to get rid. If you have both WCs (like me 🙂 ) then there's also the option to clear out in GW24.

    Right guys on the last page got asked for my opinions on saints dgw players. i go home and away and have missed 6games in the last season and a half so have a decent idea what I'm talking about.

    Goalkeeper: steer well clear, all 3 are awful, Adkins has no idea who is best and to add to that i think we will be signing one and letting one go this window, absolute minefield and not worth it.

    Defence: Shaw, fonte, clyne in that order and ill tell you why. Shaw is only 17 and has done very well so far, he is now nailed on and gets forward just as well as clyne if not better and is due some attacking points soon. Fonte is a goal threat at set pieces but not sure he warrents the extra 0.2 in a tight budget. Clyne is 'injured' and we all know the club are tight lipped on everything these days so we have no idea when he will be back. He had his worse game for us boxing day at Fulham and has been injured since so not worth the risk.

    Midfield: punch vs Ramirez: get Ramirez would be my advice, he blows hot and cold, he has been our worst player in a couple of games but run the show in others, with guly finding some form I anticipate Ramirez being played back in the hole behind Lambert instead of wide left as well. He wasn't great against arsenal but popped up with an important strike and he can open up defences, he is a monster score waiting to happen. Punch on the other hand is a steady option and given the price difference theres not a lot in it. However he flatters to deceive a lot of the time, largely chooses the wrong option in the final 3rd and just never looks convincing. He has had one outstanding 45mins this season (qpr away) and the rest of the time he has been very ordinary. a decent cut price option but far less likely to get a brace than ramirez imo. Ram is also on his fair share of set pieces and actually a decent ariel threat as shown with his headed goal at Everton. An honourable mention to guly as well, a real punt but he is establishing himself in the team without lallana and has an eye for goal, flair pick for sure but not guaranteed 180mins.

    Strikers: one word Lambert. Simple. J rod not nailed on and flits in and out the side. Lambert on some free kicks and pens. has to be the best dgw option if you are only having one saint have him. Already scored against united and city this season so can score against anyone on his day.

    Hope some find this of some use, most of you probably knew most of this anyway but for any casuals
    hope it helps.

      Nice. Shaw was very, very good against Arsenal and I was amazed to find he's only 17. What a fantastic prospect.

        Shaw will not be sold in january. we got offered 4m for him before he haf even started a first team game for us, he showed no intere@t in leaving knowing that he would get his chance here and he wouldnt at a top 4 club. he will not leave to sit on the bench so early in his career and the club would not sell unless it was a ridiculous price. just my opinion bit i would be astonished if he went.

        Just a side note, he still occasionally struggles to last the full 90mins and has been subbed in the last 10mins a couple of times this season as he suffered from cramp. This could actually be of benefit and preserve a clean sheet. A small side note but an added bonus in my book.

      Having checked the stats its quite interesting. Clyne is still has better numbers but Shaw is more successful at dribbling and headers. He also gets more crosses in but they are largely unsuccessful. Promising signs but Clyne won the battle of statistics when it comes to chances created and shots.

        Not surprised clynes stats are better at the moment but Shaw is improving fast with every game and growing in confidence. Not a lot to choose but with the injury doubts over clyne I'd take Shaw for now.

        In reply to could he be as good as bale. Different player, we played bale left back but he was awful defensively, very naive positionally but great going forward which is why he is now a winger. Shaw is more in the bridge mould but far greater potential imo. He reads the game very well for someone so young, he is physically strong for his size, quick, surprsingly good in the air and seems an intelligent player. Potential England left back for sure.

        Your welcome. Yeh don't lose value on punch to get Ramirez, not worth it. Same if u have clyne its not worth getting Shaw but I will wc for the dgw if it happens and I have clyne now and will switch to Shaw. Going to be a lot of Lambert love next week potentially, hope he delivers for many reasons.

        That was a BBC bracket, Billy. It's interesting in that Rafa obviously feels Ba won't need the kind of settling in period new signings usually require and he feels comfortable sticking him straight in the team. We'll see, but perhaps Ba won't be the write-off some were suggesting he might be....

                    Nothing recent, they are old rumors but I'm fairly sure Arsenal will be keeping an eye out for a new keeper.

      I certainly wouldn't WC him in. Getting him now and WCing him out is definitely an option though.

    Hey,

    Thinking of doing these moves at the minute...

    2FT

    Aguero > Lambert
    Caulker > Chelsea defender

    So I'll have Mata Ba Chelsea DEF, Lambert and Puncheon

    Could also get a Southampton defender but not sure it's worth it with two away games. Fonte would be first choice if I did. But is that worth a 4 point hit?

    Then after this DGW (if it goes ahead of course) I would take a 4/8 point hit to get in the likes of Gibbs/Podolski/Walcott/Demel/Nolan/Noble

    And then use my w/c to fix the mess I've made.

    Thoughts?

          The thing with Aguero is he'd be very easy to get back as he'll pretty much be that price all season. Would Lambert seem to you like a good punt regardless of Aguero's fitness? For those 2 games...

            It's definitely worth of thought. You could get Lambert, then Pod/Giroud then WC Aguero back in...

      I wouldn't want to sell Aguero tbh. Why not sell Caulker for Demel now instead of for a hit latter on?

        Would the upside of getting a Chelsea defender not make it worth it? I don't 'want' to sell Aguero necessarily but he's also possibly injured and Arsenal away isn't a fixture I would be devastated to lose him for. Care to offer any more thoughts?

          He won't be out for long. He will miss one game max. Aguero is certainly worth keeping. The hammers have a decent fixture up next as well and the move will save you 4pts.

      I would rather get your 2nd GK to Turnbull. A lot cheaper and nailed on for the DGW.

      It's a plan. Luiz for Chelsea def. I'd be tempted by the Lateriser plan as you have no WH/Ars atm. Also I'm a transfer junkie.

    Desperately need a good wildcard to beat my arch rival. Help, please!

    Jaas
    Martin Walker Cuellar
    Mata(c) Fellaini Walcott Silva
    RVP Lambert Suarez

    Gibbs on bench for next week. Any serious flaws? Also seems like quite a template team, no real punts, which is annoying....

    Assuming the chelsea DGW goes ahead, which option is best. I only really want to sell players for a hit if its for a DGW player.

    A) Enrique + Tevez -> Luiz + Giroud -8pts

    B) Enrique + Foster -> Luiz + Turnbull -8pts

    C) Enrique -> Clyne/Shaw -4pts (keep Tevez)

      Certainly not c. I can see Soton defenders getting 2, despite having 2 games.

        It seems I'm destined to have to make two transfers. Not too many DGW defender options for 5.9m. Only the rotation threatened ones, I already have Gibbs.

      I only really like Luiz, I know Turnbull is a good idea too but there's not as much upside to a GK switch.
