Following the conclusion of Gameweek 21, we’ve updated both the Career Hall of Fame and the Live version for members. The Career version now includes all new additions to the Fantasy Football Scout leagues and is viewable to all via this link or a new top menu “HoF” link. This table will be updated every week with new entrants.

The “Live” version of the Hall of Fame, available to our Members, has been updated to include points earned in Gameweek 21. This will be updated with the latest rankings 24-hours after the conclusion of every Gameweek from this point on.

If you missed our meeting, emails and telegrams on the Hall of Fame and wondering what all this chatter is about, look below for a quick guide. Alternatively, you can view this movie to listen to myself and Rate My Team’s Chris Atkinson talk you through it.

What is the Hall of Fame?
In simple terms, this is as ranking system which can be applied to everyone in our Fantasy Premier Leauge mini-leagues – both the free and the members league. The Hall of Fame tracks the performances of every manager over each of the seasons they have participated and awards a ranking according to the performances. We have a career table that updates every season and a live table that will be updated using the latest season data, after every Gameweek.

How is my rating calculated?
The “HoF Rating” is based on your points scores from previous FPL seasons, with the latest season weighted the heaviest and each corresponding season weighted at roughly 80% that of the previous season. So, in other words, those who performed best in 2011/12 will receive a bigger HoF Rating boost from those who did best in 2006/07. The “HoF Ranking” even allows for those with missing years, adapting the formula accordingly to allow to rank alongside the veterans of the FPL.

How do I join the Hall of Fame
Simply sign up to our leagues, either the Fantasy Football Scout Classic League (40184-13425), or if you’re a member, the Members Classic League – the code is available on the dashboard of the Members Area.

How do I find myself in the Hall of Fame?
The search box at the top of the ranking tables allows you to search by surname or by FPL id.

What if I don’t want to be listed?
Either notify us via support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk or simply leave the Fantasy Football Scout league and you’ll be removed on the next update.

When does the Hall of Fame get updated?
The Career table is available to all and is updated at the end of each season to display the latest rankings.

The Live version of the Hall of Fame is updated every week to use the latest season data. This version will only be available to our members in the Members Area. If you wish to get access to the live version, you can sign up as a member – our half season memberships are now available for just £10. Click here for details on upgrading your account or signing up.

Good potential as a number 10 / playmaker, due to his positional awareness and strong range of passing, but he's not the finished article yet. Spurs have bought him for his potential, and Holtby is a sensible signing, especially as he's out-of-contract in the summer.

How you you rank the mid/big hitter defenders over 2nd half of season?

Who would you pick from Baines, Vertongen and the options for Chelsea, City, United and Liverpool.

Think i fancy having Baines and one of Luiz/Evans/Zab

Ack, if this dgw is on then I'm stuck.

My plan was to get Bale in for the QPR game but if I do I would have to bench one of:

    Bale / Mata / Puncheon / Fellaini / Michu
    Berba / RVP / Suarez

The only real options look to be Fellaini or Michu and they could both have massive scores...

How's this for a plan for the Double DGW

    GW22 (4pt hit)

    Begovic > Turnbull
    Felliani > Mata

    GW23 (4pt hit)

    Riise > Gibbs
    Snodgrass > Nolan

    This then leaves me with

    GW22 2 SOT and 3 CHE
    GW23 2 ARS and 1 WHM

Is that enough DGW coverage in your opinion

Decent coverage and not too many hits which is always good, however I'm not keen on the Bego > Turnbull transfer though. You'll lose value on Bego & the -4pts aren't likely to be regained. I don't see Chelsea keeping 2 clean sheets...

I've learnt my lesson, next year I am definitely saving my WC for a moment like this or at the worst - a very focused group of players for the last 4-6 gameweeks of the season. Would kick some serious ass in my ML if I had my original wildcard intact :/

Its all relative. Not playing your WC earlier might have left you 100 points worse off by now.
Not worth saving it if the time to play it happens to be early on. Always nice to have it for the last 10GW run though

I feel like, coming at the moment of my highest ever ranking, this double gameweek is my chance to have a blast at the top 10 in the world.

I'm trying to get a WC team together for the next two weeks, which will give my 6 double gameweekers in both 22 and 23, and let me keep hold of the players I've gained a lot of value on. The I'll wildcard again after the Arsenal double gameweek to give myself a team for the rest of the season.

Here's the team I'm looking at:

    Jaaskeleanen Bunn
    Fonte Luiz Gibbs Demel Shorey
    Mata Walcott Michu Nolan Ramirez
    RVP Lambert Torres

3 Chelsea, 3 Southampton, 3 West ham, and then my transfer prior to week 23 will be to bring in an Arsenal player.

    Ay thoughts?

So, I have both WCs available and am wondering which is the best move if the GW22 DGW happens?

    A) Use the 1st WC this week and bring in 11 players from CHE, SOT, ARS & WHU, then get the 12th player in GW23, and finally use the 2nd WC in GW24 to do a big clear out and build a team for the rest of the season - this gives me 12 DGWers for no hits, but means no WC carried forward after GW24.

    B) Take a hit this week and bring in a couple of CHE players (e.g. Federici & Silva -> Turnbull & Mata), bring an extra ARS player in next week, and then use the 1st WC in GW24. This means I'll only have 7 DGWers and have taken a 4 point hit, but it enables me to keep a WC to use later in the season.

    JAASK, Federici
    GIBBS, CLYNE, Cuellar, Hughes, MCCARTNEY*
    WALCOTT, Bale, Silva, Sess, Taarabt
    Rvp, Suarez, Benteke
    Bank 0.5m, 1 freebie

    * injured, so will miss all the games in the DGW

Same. The upside is big. 2 top 4 teams with decent DGWs is what we've been saving the WC for. The only question in my mind is whether we can save the GW24 WC and just gradually lose the WHU & SOT cover, given ARS and CHE have v good fixtures after GW23. It may mean going in with 3 ARS, 3 CHE, 2 WHU & 2 SOT this week though. Thoughts on that plan?

My suggestion is check, CHE, ARSE, WHM fixtures after the DGW. All have ok fixtures. Just WC get 3 of Arse and CHE, 2-3 WHM and 2 SOT. And start clearing up the mess slowly after the WC. Go for sensible choices so you would not have to take huge hits.

Not a bad idea this, although I think WHU & SOT have pretty poor fixtures after the DGW, plus it rules out getting the likes of Turnbull. I think the only real advantage of carrying the extra WC forward would be if there was to be further good DGWs later in the season, which is far from guaranteed.

If I kept the 2nd WC I'd probably use it around GW30, and from GW24-GW30 WHU have the worst fixtures of all teams according to the ticker. SOT have the 5th worst.

Yeah Turnbull would be a bad option in that case, but id take a second look at WHMs fixtures, if you only go for 2 like me(or 3 with Demel) than you really wont have a problem. And even if there wont be any more DGW there still will be a time when your team is full of injuries and you really would want to switch things up. Especially given the wear and tear of the season. This is at least what I am doing if the DGW happens.

See my post above to Samwise - before this GW22 DGW I had pencilled in GW30 for the 2nd WC, and WHU have the worst set of fixtures in the league from GW24-30 according to the ticker. I suppose if I had Jaask & Demel as my cover it would be manageable, but then there's the SOT lot to consider also. Great point though, I think I'm still undecided between A) above and your idea!

You could also leave out one of the WHM attacking players from your WC and just get the one you want in time for GW 23, while getting rid of one SOT or Che mids for them. Already clearing some of your DGW deadwood.

"Antonio Valencia isnt a particularly good footballer, which is why he is finding life so difficult at the minute. He has nothing in his locker outside of kick and rush past his man. If he was good on the ball, or was adaptable, or had anything about him, he would be trying something different to get himself out of this rut. But he doesn't, he does the same thing over and over again and looks lost when it doesn't work. "

A bit harsh on him. Yes, he does try the old 'kick and run' quite a bit, but then if I had his pace, I'd be doing that a lot as well. You gotta play to your strengths!

It's like criticising RVP for only having 'putting the ball in the back of the net' in his locker.

No it isn't. RVP does do different things quite regularly. He often comes out to the wing this season for example to help the link up play of the team.

He hasn't got skill, but he can beat a man, also he is a selfless player and always bases his decisions upon the the benefit of the team. I agree he has been poor this season but I'm sure he will come good just needs some confidence.

Lateriser12 - "I am a consulting detective. The only one in the world" says:

Posting this strategy again. Want more thoughts.

        My proposed Wildcard/DGW Strategy.
I gave myself half an hour of thinking and came up with a wildcard draft that makes a litle sense to me. A decent amount of thinking has gone into this. I will take you through this once you have a look at the team. What i have done is with this strategy one can have a full quota of DGW players for both the DGW’s without compromising too much on the long term structure of the team.
The current structure for most of us at the moment is similar to something like this.
        Begovic
        xx xx xx xx xx
        Bale Mata Walcott Michu xx
        RVP Suarez xx
These players, atleast in my current team are my core and are untouchable. So then, i look to fill in the blanks.
        Begovic Turnbull
        Mertsacker Obrien A.Cole Clyne Demel
        Michu* Bale* Mata* Walcott* Ramirez/Puncheon
        RVP* Suarez* Lambert
0.8/1.5 in the bank depending on Ramirez/Puncheon
        DGW1
I go in with 3 Chelsea and 3 Southampton players. Chelsea play Stoke and Southampton and you could rely on Chelsea keeping 1 cleansheet atleast. The only other player i would consider is Hazard and he would come in only for Walcott and i would do the Walcott -> Hazard transfer for the next week, but i have Walcott since about 12 weeks now and would lose value, hence the double up on the chelsea defence. The 3 SOT players pick themselves for me and are potentially the most dangerous players. The decision between Puncheon and Ramirez might be based on money as i want to be bring in Giroud and maybe a Wham midfielder for the DGW or something of that sort.
        DGW2
        Transfers
Lambert + Ramirez -> Ars/Wham players of choice (Currently looking at Noble + Giroud) for a -4. The Giroud thing is a personal call, as you all know, i really fancy him.
With this i get a complete quote of 3 Wham + 3 Arsenal here as well.
Post DGW – No need for wildcard
As long as the structure of
        Mata Bale Michu Walcott
        RVP Suarez
is maintained, the remaining players can slowly be filtered according to how you want your team to take structure. That is why i am thinking Puncheon over Ramirez as it offers more flexibility in terms of the third striker i could want. Mert and A.Cole staying there for some time is not an issue really because both are decent defences.
You could make a case for Azpil but i am really trying to go for players that are as nailed on as can be and if Terry is coming back anytime soon, i’d be worried about owning Azpil/Ivanovic.
A discussion is warranted and i’d like to have your opinion on this proposal.

Am I doing this right lads? I'm going to WC for GW 23, I know it's a little atypical as all you fellas are planning on WCing after.

Turnbull, Luiz, Mata and Lambert for DGW 22.

    WC - 23:

    Begovic | Bunn
    Clichy | Gibbs | Demel* | Shaw | Wilson/Davies
    Cazorla* | Walcott* | Felliani | Michu | Mata
Van Persie | Suarez | Ruiz

    Cazorla > Bale after 23.

Please, please have a quick read through and tell me what you'd change. I rarely post RMTs here and I'd appreciate the little bits of help :). Cheers fellas.
