As you may have seen earlier in the week, we’re now at a stage where we can begin testing a beta version of HomeCrowd comments, our new comments system, with some members of the community.

For this first phase we’re looking for a very small group of testers to ensure that we find any early compatibility issues on browsers and devices with the current steup, try out some of the basic functionality and to collect some early feedback and ideas.

This first version has very few bells and whistles aside from the ability to vote on comments, sticky comments, sort comments by rating and the addition of inline moderation tools. The latter will enable us to recruit moderators from the community for the first time and we’ll be testing this out with some of our volunteers on this first phase.

On the whole, HomeCrowd currently resembles the current version very closely – that is intentional for the first iteration. Those who help us out with some testing will get some further insight into the system and future ideas before it goes live, however.

If you’d be interested in helping us with this testing, please email us at homecrowd@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk with your username used on the site, your browser and device you’d be using to test the site and the hours you’d be around to help test.

All being well, we’ll get invites out and begin the first round of tests on Sunday.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I know of some West Ham fans who that that McCartney won't necessarily play. If it looks like he will though, he would be a DGW bargain. Plus, isn't there a chance that Harte will get his place back? After all, Reading's manager may only be temporary

Yeah, Harte's status is up in the air and I'd hate to waste a transfer on a 5th DEF with the DGW requiring moves.

Read the FAQ at the bottom of the page to see how to link your team. it makes it much easier to see what your situation is all about. Start thinking about how you are going to get DGW players in for GW33. How much cash and how many free transfers do you have available?

I will probably want to make this transfer anyways and I don't really want to pay the extra 0.1 after Berba's price rise if I don't have too.

      Cazorla, Mertesacher, Baines, Berba, Riether.

I would want to have a sub keeper in place. Lind still needs some appearances this year and i can see rotation there.
How about a downgrade on Berbatov to rodriguez (since the new managers second game in charge his scores: 6,7,5,1,4,2,9)

don't like double ars defense. would rather get enrique or zaba. would allow you to get another ars attacker too (walcott or giroud)

      also you didn't list a 5th defender

    Team for next GW:

    Federici,
    Zabaleta, Demel, Davies,
    Bale, Mata, Walcott, Michu,
    RVP, Suarez, Fletcher.

Bunn, Wilson, Harte, Guthrie. (1 FT, 0 in the bank)

Thoughts? Obviously no goalkeeper is my main concern for this week. But is it worth taking a hit to replace one of my two GKs with a De Gea maybe? Or just take a 0 and use the FT elsewhere in the team. Thanks for all the help, guys. 🙂

You're going to have a fairly major price drop player elsewhere to get DDG. So my first thought would be to find the outfield player you want at that price.
You will need to be aware of coming price changes too.

rvp > rooney will do wonders for your team ;). could probably allow bunn > ddg and/or michu > caz

Thanks guys, but I was thinking of maybe downgrading Michu to a cheapie like Maloney/Townsend and using the cash to do Fed-> DDG?

i think lamps and hazard might be better options BUT they could face rafatation too AND with so few transfers left i'm not sure if it's worth using a FT for a sideways move

Yea its tricky.. I think Iv lost faith with Mata tho thats why I mention it but of course Rafa could swing any which way...
Will Wally go if this gw if he doesnt make Reading?
I think there maybe a better option for Siss, lost faith a bit with him also. Looks like you may have to save it for surgery nearer kick off.

      does raf = Rafael?

looks pretty solid mate. don't want any everton coverage? baines and afro both good options. but it could be hard to fit em in and i don't know who you'd want to sacrifice for either of them

Yes, lazy me, Rafeal... Was looking at Osman instead of Maloney? Could do that although leaving me unable to get 3rd Arse attacking cover unless Chavski dont have the double then could bring Wally in for Hazzard or Lamps.

no i'd rather keep maloney. if you get eve mid i'd want afro. but being able to get a 3rd ars attacker (walcott or giroud) is key imo

Id have to downgrade 2 players to get Wally in as it stands. And Giroud would have to come in for Roo or Suarez as Berb has the double in 33 as possibly Roo. Dont mind Roo>Giroud if the dont have the double I suppose, that would be easy.

As for Afro he is gona get his suspension that week for sure. 😆 If I go without Wally I can look at Afro that gw Id imagine.

In short,.. Very hard with that config for me to get Wally in.

Budget is ok. 0.9m I think in reserve not sure. FPL site a bit slow at the moment. Walcott's inj sounds like "tear", which is never good. I'm not phased with budget. More worried Walcott misses next two and is "doubtful" for DGW.

I need players playing. Can't afford Walcott on my bench for next two.

Not sure what to do actually - I was keeping Fellaini for the dgw. Now there's Walcott to worry about too. Still more inclined to keep Fellaini than Walcott, as at least Fellaini should definitely be there for the double. I worry about hanging onto Walcott, only for his injury to take ages to clear up.
