As we mentioned yesterday, the Sky Sports Fantasy Football game is now up and running ahead of the 2015/16 campaign.

After winning top spot in the League of Leagues for the past three seasons, we’re looking to defend our crown once again and hope to make it four times running this year.

For those playing the Sky Sports game, we’ve set up an official Fantasy Football Scout league – the name is FFScout and the pin number to join is 8009000.

Last season, we handed over a cool £1,000 to the Fantasy manager who finished at the summit of the Scout league and hope to offer prizes once again this year – which should be incentive enough to assemble a team and get involved.

Over the next few days, we’ll be rolling out Player Price List analysis articles, breaking down the options position by position and offering insight into each player’s potential.

Once the season gets underway, we’ll be bringing you hints and tips in our weekly Friday afternoon “Sky Sports Focus†articles, analysing the market trends and looking at transfer tactics for the Gameweek ahead.

Our regular contributor d1sable will again be at the helm to offer his expert advice – he’ll be looking for yet another top 100 finish after a storming end to the previous campaign.

We’ve set up a new community article to exclusively deal with Sky Sports Fantasy teams. Those looking to get involved with the discussion should click this link.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

He got a lot of game time at the end of the season due to form didn't he? Prefer him to Ozil/Rambo/Caz

Is it worth taking Ivan over Azpi? I'm currently sat on Azpi but I could free up funds for Ivan with Hendo > Ritchie. Such a head ache.

What do you guys think of this team?

    Ruddy (Butland)
    Darmian Azpi Morgan (Mings) (O'Shea)
    Hazard Ramsey Yaya Ritchie (Anya)
    Costa Rooney Deeney

    Yaya -> Depay/Firmino perhaps?

Look a good to me. I'd keep it the way it is. Maybe Ramsey to Caz though.

You could consider Azpi+Rooney to Ivan+Kane.

      Looks good otherwise.

I'm thinking he'll start the first couple games anyway. To appease the fans for a start and surely nobody signs a player for £49m and benches him for the first couple games.

Maybe even a striker slot with Aguero a doubt? Can't see it though with Bony and Dzeko.

I think I will just be patient

a good mid priced striker will arrive before GW1 (Remy/Austin) when they do I will be able to sell Costa for him and get Hazard in and still have enough to go from Rooney to Kun in GW4

            50% ownership and explosive potential

It's a simple choice between the 2 atm

Hello everyone! Here is my draft team, please kindly rate my team out of 10.

    Formation: 3-4-3 ()=Bench

    GK
Fabianski- (Henessey): Fabianski did well for my team last year. Not the greatest rotation pair...

    DF
Ivan - Creswell - Mings - (Morgan) - (Hibbert):Here I prioritized with attacking minded defenders

    MF
Haz - Depay - Hendo - Bolasie - (Wanyama): I included consistent performers with new summer signings.

    FW:
Rooney - Giroud - Deeny: Priority here is that all these three players have good opening fixtures.

2.5 ITB to upgrade Rooney to Aguero.

Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thank you for the comments in advance!

2.5m for, what, maybe 4 penalties a season? May as well just get Henderson instead if you want penalties.

    How's this looking?

    Schmeichel (Hamer)
    Ivanovic Kosc Francis (OShea, Saylor)
    Hazard Ritchie Henderson Cazorla (Wanyama)
    Rooney Kane Deeney

    MITB for Rooney to Aguero.

good defence, but not too keen on Ritchie for 6.0m and ramsey or Ozil are better options than Caz?

      I don't like it.

But if I was to give you input i'd just change it my team so there's not much point.

Cazorla is the main worry. One goal from open play.

Very nice but I'm not keen on Kane.

Goalkeepers - I prefer a 38 game rotation between the two.

Defence - Looks good but will Saylor play? And I'm not quite sure on O'Shea as I worry for Sunderland.

Midfield - Looks great. Cazorla is a great pick.

Attack - Kane is a bit expensive for my liking, maybe Sakho is a better pick.

      🙂

Any chance of Walcott starting over Giroud as the lone striker like he did towards the end of last season?

A no-brainer for Wenger if Walcott is fully fit!

Giroud offers hold-up play that Walcott can't. He's a more natural lone striker.

            11 years, 3 days ago

Yup. People think Walcott is sure to start if fit. Yet, history proves the opposite, Wenger usually opting for Giroud and even when he overplayed Giroud he said that it's difficult for him to give rest for Giroud as they have no other player who would offer what he does. So, Walcott is far from safe bet to start.

He has, however, the advantage that he can also play on wing and scores almost identically when there. In fact, plays almost identically. 😀

I might actually be counting on that. At least early on, if Sanchez is rested, Walcott should be fielded on flank. Good communication with Giroud, a couple of goals, and he'll be hard to drop. Why wouldn't this be good:

                ____Coq - Caz
                Wally - Öz -Sanchez
                _____Giroud

??? I think it could work out very nicely, at least against weaker teams. Against better teams, Ramsey in Wally's place. And at 70 minutes, Wilshere in to give Özil some rest.

Certainly not a no-brainer, the link-up work Giroud does to bring the midfielders into play is much overlooked.

That link-up play, however, works very nice for him exactly with Walcott. Just thinking that they both could start. Has been a working formula before.

He's a definite risk. Monitoring him over pre-season. But as I'll probably have two of Rooney, Costa and Kun upfront (depending on Kun fitness), I'll probably end up with a 5.5-6.5 third striker.
