Today’s Wembley showpiece between Chelsea and Arsenal affords Fantasy managers further opportunity to scout our options for the upcoming campaign, with the Premier League kick off now just six days away.

For the Blues, Diego Costa is sidelined due to “discomfort in his hamstring” once again. Loic Remy is handed the chance to lead the line in the Spain international’s absence, with loan signing Radamel Falcao on the bench. William and Ramires join Eden Hazard in the attacking midfield three behind Remy, with Jose Mourinho naming last season’s defensive regulars along with Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic in the double-pivot.

Theo Walcott gets the chance to lead the line for Arsenal, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain selected in the XI as Olivier Giroud is named amongst the subs. Arsene Wenger’s side are as expected, otherwise, with Hector Bellerin selected ahead of Mathieu Debuchy at right-back, whilst Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey join Oxlade-Chamberlain in the positions behind Walcott. Jack Wilshere misses out through injury for the Gunners.

Ibe has a 3.3% selection now.. It was less than 1 % not long ago. He was going to be my 5th midfield hidden gem.

He's looked awesome, and gotten decent minutes too. I think he could have a cracker of a season, through mostly assists, but still.

Not a great pick imp. They are oversubscribed in that area so his minutes will be here and there. 55 one game 35 the next. Wonderful talent and he will be used frequently but I bet he doesn't play beyond 2000 mins this season.

When you need help from the bench he may offer none.

Sterling could be a flop until Aguero is back. I personally thinks it will be too hard for him to settle in the first gameweeks with City's fixtures. You could downgrade and save some money for options.

    Team atm:

    Ruddy - Rudd

    Azpi - Merte - Huth - O'Shea* - X

    Hazard - X - Depay - Ritchie - 4.5

    Rooney - Benteke - Deeney

Gonna fill the two spots with either A or B:

    A: Cedric & Özil

    B: Francis & Walcott

*And who do you reckon is most nailed of the Sunderland CBs O'Shea, Coates and Kaboul?

    1. shyster

Any thoughts on these guys ?

    Panti (Krul)
    Francis, Mertesacker, Fonte (Targett,Coates)
    Ritchie, Hazard, Walcott, Henderson (Ibe)
    Deeney, Giroud (c), Rooney

I'm saving some 3-4 milions for changes after the first gameweeks, so I'm trying to set up a team with starters and rotation pairs for the beginning of the season and then step up for Aguero/Sanchez/Silva.

Dillemas: Deeney or Wilson, Henderson or Milner, Giroud or Benteke ? Captain from this team? Thanks!

    3) Huth nailed?

      1) My biggest quandry (actually one of a number), but I think yes he is, for the moment.

      2) Should be nailed in my opinion. Juries out for me. Could be a good value buy, but he's likely to play off Diouf so not be the main goal threat

      3) Pretty sure he is. As much as any The Tinkerman's players can be.

    ivan, cedric, ward/simon/o'shea(4.5 fixture rotates)

    wilson, pelle, kane

    Aguero plan:
    silva > mane
    pelle > aguero
    2.5m short - considering haz > fabre

does everyone think hazard is absolutely essential or will fabregas do? he didn't make much impact in the comm shield earlier. i don't want to lose ivan/caz/hendo/kane though.
