            I still maintain that, I probably said that around the Liverpool game. Him having heel pain afterwards wasn't an injury for me so I was happy to wait until he could train and then get him for Vardy.

    When Sanchez got injured I said: ''Whoever I replace him with, it won't matter, because he's been blanking for 5 weeks in a row until he injured himself.'' I decided to buy Silva the week after, he's now played 5 games for me and managed to get me 1 assist, as did Sanchez in his last 5. 🙂

            tbf this year has almost proved that. Ighalo, Mahrez, Luk, Kane, Vardy consistently scoring shows that you can just rely on players who are already doing well.

                I don't quite understand? Is it too large a sample size or too small? Surely if you bring in a player based on their form you look at their last three games or so not the first three games of the season? A sample size of three to five games would suffice.

                  I mean that cheap options from mid-table or worse teams don't usually sustain form for months on end like this.

                  And when I look at form to initiate a transfer, I'm not just looking at goals and assists but at other stats that are underlying indicators of points.

      But that's what Aguero is, he gets his chances and he puts them away. Man City for a while have been lacking supply, similarly to tonight. Given the poor performances and team effort, I think it's a fantastic goal for him.

      Also remember they have a problem playing away this season and have two home games coming up vs Everton (poor defense) and Palace (allows a lot of chances).

      he and city weren't great at all, let's be honest. kun looked less than sharp, getting into half decent positions and not getting shots off a few times. yaya was bad too up till his goal. city get into good positions on the break, then seem to stop all the time, and wait for defence to get back in position, then screw up. i honestly think navas made quite a difference

    Crazy how much better City played when Navas came on and they played two strikers up top. Might be the way to go to solve their away woes.

    Sad to say but I think I would nearly drop Silva and play Navas/ De Bruyne on the wings. I preferred De Bruyne at LW today since he's a left footer and is forced to cross the ball more.

    Sterling has been so poor lately, needs time out of the squad. The centrebacks need a lot of work too.

    I don't own Vardy and didn't captain Mahrez so that miss actually helped me in the overall scheme of things? Their combined ownership is so massive, maybe one of the highest double ups I can remember in FPL.
