    looking at watson's corners, today and last GW when he very nearly scored direct, i can never understand why teams don't take corners like this ALL the time. just whip it in at pace near the goal and give player chance of a flick ahead of GK. watson a decent cheap mid imo

        yeah watson isn't really the point, it's whipped corners. i absolutely hate short corners. just whip it in like he does and there's a good chance of a goal. it's so difficult to defend against.

          think my point is being lost. it doesn't have to me near post or anything. it's the pace that is important and close to goal. any touch = decent chance of goal. none of this floated in corner nonsense or flick ons. just whip the bloody thing in 🙂
