As covered in Sunday’s Knee Jerk, it wasn’t supposed to be like this, so in this week’s Technical Area we’ll be digging through the rubble of another disappointing weekend at Wembley and dissecting exactly what seems to be ailing Spurs – and in particular their talismanic forward.

As a Spurs fan, it fills me with confidence knowing statistically in areas we are actually performing better at Wembley. The Wembley Hoodoo has always been a media storm. I think it's clear to see the players are performing at the same level so far this season, we have just been unfortunate and obviously haven't converted enough of our chances in dominating performances.
Goals are coming for Kane and when they do expect him to score 3 or 4 in a game.
2 wins in 12 and it suits them ? Gonna take time to get used to it. The 20+% advantage of being at home is missing.
I am so glad I didn't hit that Wildcard button.
The WC button is like a powerful drug - it takes every ounce of willpower to say no.
I have to thank the community of this site who helped me to 'just say no'.
I tell you, it's hard going cold turkey.
i was very very close, but the deciding factor was that players who id be picking for my wildcard team have no better than average fixtures, I'm guna try and wait till after GW8 if possible, some big changes in fixtures from then

4l Kdb + ake out.. Wouldnt rely on either one atm.. Think kola will do fine against bourne.. But you got plenty of time if you dont wanna bring in some1 on the rise

Downgrade bailly to jones to free up funds? Personally im not on the alonso wagon just yet.. I would dg him to Bavies.. These to options would give you 2.5 mill itb... You could upgrase richarlison to miki for that amount.. But that is just my opinion 🙂
Already have Phil Jones as I plan on doubling up on United defense.
I've considered downgrading Morata to either Abraham or a 4.5 and then using the rest of the funds to upgrade one of my 4.5 mids. I'd then be running a 4-4-2. I'm still tinkering around but thanks for the suggestion!

I like the extra 0.5 elsewhere myself - so far they've pretty much matched each other. Mane better player in my eyes but Salah is getting on the end of more things

...so...Kane's underlying shots statistics are actually above average for him and as such are likely to fall back to more around his average in the coming game weeks. ?
He's trying so hard because he can't score, I don't think his shot numbers will go down until he does
The key distinction here is that they are not just above average for himself; they are above average for anybody historically in the Premier League era. Kane's shot numbers could halve (literally), and he'd still be second among forwards in terms of shots taken.
He's always been a high-volume shooter - he missed 8 games last season, if I remember correctly, and still finished 8th in terms of total shots. If there's one thing you can be confident in, it's that Kane will continue to rack him high numbers of shots moving forward (even if they are going to come down from his current levels, which they are bound to do).
