Fantasy World Cup Friendlies Community Tournament

I would like to write few things as supplement the information contained in the article.

First of all it would be nice if could reply here are you like this idea and are you going to play? Thanks to that I coud prepare and will know how many managers will join. But if you decide to join in last minute thats fine too. You can even join GW 2 or later but that obviously will minimum your chance to win it.

Before you start to play please read the rules as it is important to do as it say but here is a small reminder and explanation of SOME of the rules:

- You can wait for the linups! You don't have tu post full team at once! (as there are diferent times of kick off).
This rule looks a bit odd but it makes perfect sense as we all want to have starters and it is really hard to predict who will start in those friendlies. There is nothing worse than ending up with only few starters.
But here is a small HINT! If you know that you will be offline and you cant check lineup of some game during a GW you can pick and post a player earlier by posting for example: "Argentina GK" or "Spain def/mid/forw with lowest shirt number" etc but it must be clear what player you pick! Posting just "Mexico defender" is not enough and wont be counted even if Mexico will get CS. You can also pick a player writing "Poland left defender" but if it turns out that at LB will be playing a player who is listed as midfielder (more about it later) you will end up with no player. Also if you pick a player before seeing lineups and he will start on the bench but than enters and score/assist/get red card etc you will get points (or minus points) BUT that rule doesnt work with CS! Only starters (GK and defenders) can get CS points.

- Formating! How to pick and post your teams!
First wait for my every GW post with all games and times/dates etc. Pick and post your team players by writing: Player name, position, nationality. After that if we have games at diferent hours pick next players (to complete your full XI) by making A REPLY TO YOUR POST that I can see a full team of every manager in one place.
Thats very important as it makes much easier for me to calculate points and makes it nice and easy for the eyes.

- Points!
Everything is writen in the article but reminder of the diferences with FPL:
`no points for starting/playing 60 mins/ cameos etc;
`no minus points for yellow cards;
`GK gets save penalty points even if penalty take simply just missed it;
`CS points for GK/def only if they were a starters but they DONT have to play 60 mins!
` NO CS points for GK/def even if his team loose first goal AFTER he was subbed (!)
` No minus points for loosing more goals even if team of your def lost 7:0

- Our OPTA is Flashscore.com!
To make this game fair we need to have one place to check all the scores. So if for example flashscore says no assist so there is no assist even if we all see that there was one etc.
Same with players positions. If one player is clasified as a defender according to flashscore than he is a defender even if he is playing in midfield etc. To check that simply click on player name (on the lineup) and you will see his positon under his name with his statistics etc.
Lineups on Flashscore.com are usually an hour before KO but those less interesting games have lineups a bit later. Sometimes but really rarely we can have no lineups (they can be added few minutes after KO) so obviounsly we cant pick players after that. In that case we don't pick players from that game or we can pick in blind before KO or pick players by posting like I wrote before "Iran GK" etc before KO obv. You can also use another website/twitter just to check lineups (scorers, assist etc only according to flashscore) but remember the position rule!

- Every GW post!
I already wrote about it that it will start every GW. I will put there all games that you can pick players from so be sure you read it as sometimes it may be some games canceled, rescheduled etc.
All times will be CET (this time zone is one hour later than in UK) !

Those times are deadlines to pick players from those teams.
Post your team as a reply to that post or simply make a new comment but remember to reply to your own post
(to ceomplete your full XI) when adding players from every next game that I can see your full GW team in one place. That's really make it much easier for me.

Special congratulations for Niemi who picked best player of this GW Visca who scored 3 goals (15pts) and Maniaq whose 2 defenders: Umtiti and Bonucci scored a goal (6pts each).

*Few managers made a mistake with player positions. Please check player positions (by clicking on player name on flashscore.com) before picking.
Sadly for DAVIDMUNDAY815 he pick Leckie as a mid and he is listed as a forward so as he can't have 4 forwards no Leckies's points for him. Sorry mate but rules are rules.
PIRLØ'S PEN picked Son as a mid but he didn't score anyway. Lyonnais made same mistake but changed it before deadline. Maniaq_ had a lot of luck as he made a change before deadline too and picked Bonucci who scored a goal...and Maniaq_, Turkey mid with lowest shirt number wasn't Yazici 😉 DEVILISH_CHERRY picked 4 defs and 2 forwards, SCOZEE002 and Sam10 didn't post full teams.
But please try not to make changes guys after posting your picks as it makes a lot of trouble for me. Pick wise your players, wait for lineups and try not to make any changes (if I won't see it I will count points incorrectly).

Still many GWs so it's easy to catch up especially with this points system so feel free to join and don't give up if ths GW wasn't good for you.
