Kyle Walker (£6.0m) is the headline World Cup Fantasy for England ahead of their first game of Russia’s finals.

The Manchester City wing-back has become one of the most assured of starts in Gareth Southgate’s back-three, as a makeshift centre-back.

His importance to the Three Lions has convinced a tenth of World Cup Fantasy managers to sign him for Gameround 1.

Jesse Lingard (£7.5m) is the next most-popular in 6.9% of squads with expensive forward Harry Kane (£11.0m) in 6.6%.

With selection a possibility in midfield and attack, Dele Alli (£9.0m) and Raheem Sterling (£9.0m) are both before four percent ownership.

The most popular player in Tunisia’s ranks is striker Ahmed Kalil (£4.5m), who is not expected to get much game-time Russia. However, four percent of managers have opted to use him as a budget enabler.

Meanwhile, left-back Ali Maaloul’s (£4.5m) three assists in qualifying and recent friendlies has one percent including him on a punt.

Yea I forgot Walker, hes quality. Sterling hasnt looked impressive outside of that excellent City side. Alli is on the same level as Rashford, Lingard and Young, except he believes hes better than he is so he puts in less effort and whines more.

It just seems so lacklustre. Compare to the 2006 side for instance.
