With scores all in the thirties, Gameweek 13 was one to forget for the Scoutcast crew.

After forcing themselves to relive this dire set of points, Az, David, Luke and Joe dust themselves off and look ahead to better times.

Manchester City’s wealth of midfield options come under particular scrutiny during the community questions segment. A total of 44 points from David Silva, Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling against West Ham last weekend makes this is a group of players that demand attention.

Tottenham’s emerging assets in the centre of the park have also caught the community’s collective eye.

Son Heung-min, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen all impressed in the north London side’s victory over Chelsea at the weekend. However, the Scoutcast crew are more interested in their premium-priced teammate Harry Kane to help them take advantage of Spurs’ kind set of festive fixtures.

Elsewhere, David reveals some notable team frailties and the players who are set to exploit them over December. Gylfi Sigurdsson is looking such a strong option in this regard that Joe wishes there could be two of the Everton set-piece specialist to draft into his squad.

Differentials, clean sheets, captaincy and transfer plans are also discussed. With the festive fixture list stepping up a gear, this covers both Gameweeks 14 and 15 as both take place during a frantic six-day block of Premier League matches starting this Friday.

    Mane -> Sane or Salah -> Sterling? I'm frustratingly 0.2m short of a straight swap of Mane to Sterling :/

    I also have Hazard and he would be an easy swap for Sterling if out for the Fulham game, but it sounds like he'll be fit to start by then

    "Sarri is confident Hazard will be fit to return for Chelsea's match against Fulham on Sunday, live on Sky Sports, saying: "Hazard is not a serious injury."

    "He will not be able to play tomorrow but I think we will be able to recover him for the next Premier League match."

    Hazard has not scored in his last five matches for Chelsea, and Sarri has admitted he is concerned that the 27-year-old's injuries are impacting on his form.

    "I am worried because 25 days ago he had a back injury, now the ankle," explained Sarri. "I think he has lost a lot of training, so it's normal he isn't in top physical condition.

    "He needs to have one week of training and a couple of matches before going to the best level.

    "This week is useful for him to have training, and then we will see. I think he cannot play ten matches in 30 days, so sometimes he has to rest."

    it sounds as though hazard will make it for the sunday game, but the question is how fit will he be? a back injury combined with an ankle injury does not sound too convincing

    he also hinted that he will miss more than 1 game over the busy period as "sometimes he has to rest"

    i will look to sell next week regardless of what how he played against fulham, he is just not justifying his 11.1 price tag

      Sissoko was awesome. Eriksen and Son changed the game when they came on. Vertonghen was excellent as well and Winks is beginning to look like he may actually get the odd goal.

      As far as FPL is concerned it's kind of hard to say. Kane looked decent even though Moura was on the pitch. Moura was probably Spurs worst player. If Spurs do progress it's worth remembering Foyth isn't in the CL squad. Aurier is definitely a threat to Trippier's place as he's had 2 very good games this week. Inter had very few chances to score but Lloris made a good save late on.

    How many points can one have at this stage of the season that he still has a chance to win FPL , considering the leader is at 980 ?

      impossible to say, but i wouldnt worry about it at this stage of the season, you could be within 100pts with the leader by now and be behind by 200pts by mid season, or the other way round

      Haven't looked into the stats, but to win you'd probably need to be near the top already and then smash some ridiculous returns from differentials.

    When the fixtures fall like this it's no good playing roulette with the big hitters. Any one of them could go big. Moving Salah and Hazard around if you own them is asking for trouble imo.

      It certainly is breaking up the template a lot.

      Quite interesting on that front and probably more fracturing to come with Kane and Arsenal's impending fixtures.

      Depends on your rank if it's poor like mine it tempting to break away from the template and try to get some Spurs and Arsenal with the fixtures ahead. Had Salah all season and Haz for a good portion of it any my rank is slipping not getting better.
      Btw Salah already went this week for Sterling

          This could backfire so bad I would think my current rank is brillant.
          Will see how it goes. I am contemplating Haz gone too after Ful. He has not returned in awhile and Morata playing rather than Giroud seems to nake a big difference to him too. Haz is not cheap if not delivering.

      Salah is worth 2m more than Sterling and 4m more than Sane. If you don't think he holds the extra value then the move makes sense. Yes, Salah will score points. But how many compared to the other options?

      It is Sterling/Sane vs Salah/Rich. I have the former 2. Most have the latter 2. I wouldn't say I am asking for trouble.

                I picked up Delph for cover but the free agent pool is quite bare tbh. Mendy is only good when hes playing and 3 months is brutal. Who knows if he comes back the same even. Thanks for your perspective

        Full backs are less likely to be subbed on or off so I am leaning towards risking them rather than Son or Sane.
        The reason I asked as I did is the full game is key. Cheers

          Yeah of course defenders much more likely to get 90 if getting the start.
          From those I would only really consider TAA not completely safe but maybe Gomez is not great in that spot. Sane for explosiveness.

      Crazy. Hazard is the stand out option. Sterling is also a great option. Alonso is not a captaincy option.

    I've brought in Sterlo. I started the move last week which was a bit annoying after seeing his points haul but that happens. I actually dropped out Salah as I think Raheem will score more this year even if he doesn't play every game.

        Another Haz blank will really hurt though. And I’m thinking Sané has a good chance to play this weekend. Fixture for Haz is prime though.

        If I’m not priced out I might do Salah to Sterling and Kun to Kane next week. That will leave me with the option to go Haz to Sané later. If Haz kills it I will delay that move
