Christmas fixture congestion dominates the final Scoutcast of 2018 as the crew look ahead to four sets of matches over two tightly packed weeks of Premier League action.

Joe, David and Az are joined by Andy to look in detail at how best to navigate inevitable rotation over Gameweeks 18 to 21 and offer their top tips for yuletide Fantasy Football survival.

Community questions the crew tackle include whether Manchester United assets can be trusted for their kind upcoming set of games following the sacking of Jose Mourinho this week.

Danny Ings’ brace against Arsenal last time out is another issue considered, especially as his form adds further weight to the case for going light up top and investing funds in midfield.

Elsewhere, Eden Hazard’s goal, assist and maximum bonus returns against Brighton in Gameweek 17 kickstart a chat on the best premium options for the end of December and early January.

As well as looking back on Gameweek 17’s events, including the community’s roughest and smoothest tales, the crew also look in detail at the next four Gameweeks. This includes their views on the best differentials and teams with the greatest chance of clean sheets over the period.

The crew  find time to reveal their Christmas transfer and captaincy plans. For Az, Joe and David this includes hoping their key striker Harry Kane recovers from a bout of man-flu to take to the field in Gameweek 18.

    The FFS stats show Crystal Palace chances conceded over the last 6 GWs as:
    Centre zone: 10
    Right zone: 21
    Left zone: 9
    It seems that this is from the perspective of the defender which seems to favour Sane over Sterling for the armband. Fair interpretation?

    1. Pieterke30

      I suppose but it’s surprising to read AWB concedes more chances than PvA.

      Thanks for the info...
      But yeah, surprising that PVA>AWB on Defense? Could be reversed?
      Also, I feel like Sterling floats all over during the match—but seems to threaten the most from the center, imo

    Evening fellow scouts!

    How's this as -12's go 😀

    Brooks > Hazard
    Dunk > Lovren
    Vinagre > Bednerak

    1. Taking the Mkhitaryan
      • 9 Years

        Dunk + Vinagre > Lovren + Bednarak isn't bad for a -4 given Brighton's fixtures and Jonny back.

        Which leaves Aubameyang + Brooks > Ings + Hazard. Maybe if spaced over two gameweeks it looks better.

        Hey Business Cat. I can but it would leave a defence of Kolasinac - Rudiger - Dunk - Vinagre - AWB

        not great I know, so was thinking the latter 2 moves as insurance for Kolasinac starting at the weekend vs Burnley.

          Is Kolasinac not going to play?

          If he's OK, a back 3 of Rudiger (LEI), Dunk (bou) and Kolasinac (BUR) is OK, bench AWB (mci)

    im in a quandry

    i really want to upgrade obiang to snodgrass because hes much better value but i also think hazard is essential over the next month.
    I know Alli to haz is the obvious choice but I’m reluctant because he’s a proper differential spurs are coming into form and it doesn’t allow me to upgrade obiang
    Thanks

    players i covet:
    haz
    snodgrass
    robertson

    options:
    a) alli -> haz (0.1 itb)
    b) sterling -> haz (2.5 itb)
    c) sane -> haz (0.7 itb)
    d) obiang -> snodgrass (1.2 itb)
    e) sterling, obiang -> haz, snodgrass -4 (1.5 itb)
    f) sterling, obiang, kola -> haz, snodgrass, robertson -8 (0.1 itb)

    players i have:
    ederson
    kola - alonso - dockerty - digne
    fanderson - sane - sterling - alli
    jim - kane
    steele - obiang success bennett
