Christmas fixture congestion dominates the final Scoutcast of 2018 as the crew look ahead to four sets of matches over two tightly packed weeks of Premier League action.

Joe, David and Az are joined by Andy to look in detail at how best to navigate inevitable rotation over Gameweeks 18 to 21 and offer their top tips for yuletide Fantasy Football survival.

Community questions the crew tackle include whether Manchester United assets can be trusted for their kind upcoming set of games following the sacking of Jose Mourinho this week.

Danny Ings’ brace against Arsenal last time out is another issue considered, especially as his form adds further weight to the case for going light up top and investing funds in midfield.

Elsewhere, Eden Hazard’s goal, assist and maximum bonus returns against Brighton in Gameweek 17 kickstart a chat on the best premium options for the end of December and early January.

As well as looking back on Gameweek 17’s events, including the community’s roughest and smoothest tales, the crew also look in detail at the next four Gameweeks. This includes their views on the best differentials and teams with the greatest chance of clean sheets over the period.

The crew  find time to reveal their Christmas transfer and captaincy plans. For Az, Joe and David this includes hoping their key striker Harry Kane recovers from a bout of man-flu to take to the field in Gameweek 18.

What do you make of the players who played 90 minutes in the cup? Possible rest for this weekend? I'm thinking about Auba, Wilson, Erikson, Alli etc.

    1. Ajax Hamsterdam

hard to say really....think they ll all play some part and auba could easily do some damage even with limited time

I think Auba a real risk I can see him playing 45 mins only. Son was taken off so should be ok to start

      1. QuintonFortune25

My concerns also. Especially against Burnley when he could just start Laca up front and bring Auba on if needed.

Alli and Kane are the most present, but with every other option now fit, one has to rest because of the congestion. Most minutes in the last few would be Alli, so he's earned a rest, to be started in Boxing Day
Kane has had a planned rest and an unexpected one (he should have started ahead of Lamela), so he'll pretty much play every game from now
Eriksen is being managed because of the chronic issue, so he should get one more game and then a Boxing Day rest
Son is in blazing form with full fitness, and has already had his scheduled rest
Nearly a coin toss between Lucas and Lamela, but Lamela seems more likely

Not sure what to do with this lot. I think Auba’s and Wilson’s minutes may be managed due to cup games, however fixtures are too good to ignore. May just go TAA->Digne to avoid further price changes.

Unfortunately need to make moves today as I’ll be traveling all Friday.

    What would you suggest?

    Robbo TAA Kola (Doherty AWB)

Cheers lads. It would be silly to remove Auba with BUR at home. Hazard is a priority though.

Yes, thinking 3 is the way to go.

Tough decision ahead for GW18. I am looking at moving to a 352 and bring back Hazard in. I’ll have to sell Kane or Auba:

    1) Auba + Ings
    2) Kane + Kamara

As mentioned the second striker will probably be on the bench most weeks

I don't understand, are you asking us who you should sell or which pair you should keep?

      I'd keep 2

Tricky. Not convinced Kamara will be a regular starter for much longer, but definitely would go Kane over Auba long term.

    B. Ings
