Christmas fixture congestion dominates the final Scoutcast of 2018 as the crew look ahead to four sets of matches over two tightly packed weeks of Premier League action.

Joe, David and Az are joined by Andy to look in detail at how best to navigate inevitable rotation over Gameweeks 18 to 21 and offer their top tips for yuletide Fantasy Football survival.

Community questions the crew tackle include whether Manchester United assets can be trusted for their kind upcoming set of games following the sacking of Jose Mourinho this week.

Danny Ings’ brace against Arsenal last time out is another issue considered, especially as his form adds further weight to the case for going light up top and investing funds in midfield.

Elsewhere, Eden Hazard’s goal, assist and maximum bonus returns against Brighton in Gameweek 17 kickstart a chat on the best premium options for the end of December and early January.

As well as looking back on Gameweek 17’s events, including the community’s roughest and smoothest tales, the crew also look in detail at the next four Gameweeks. This includes their views on the best differentials and teams with the greatest chance of clean sheets over the period.

The crew  find time to reveal their Christmas transfer and captaincy plans. For Az, Joe and David this includes hoping their key striker Harry Kane recovers from a bout of man-flu to take to the field in Gameweek 18.

I’d get son in before he goes to Asian cups. People forget you are not buying a permanent player, you are allowed to buy one and then switch to another if your willing to use a free transfer in a few weeks.

Son is an animal for points when he plays.

This is Draft, not FPL. No such thing as free transfers. Basically it’s a long term approach and I’d bench Son during Asia cup (only 2 games?).

Best way to spend a FT here? On 2 FT and 0.1m itb

    Fabianski
    Laporte, Robbo, Kolasinac
    Hazard, Sterling, Richarlison, Fraser
    Kane, Lacazette, Jimenez

    Patricio, Højbjerg, Bennett, AWB

I was thinking to drop Bennett to another cheapie and then use FT next week to bring in Doherty?

Looking like I won't have any man city cover this weekend. Can't see any "sensible" way to get someone in as I have Kane, Auba and Hazard, unless I've of these three is ruled out.

Bitter! I looked at his scoring inconsistency - made significant points he wasn’t a good option and then he hauled against spurs and I fell for the trap - now he looks like he won’t start the weekend and has done nothing since I brought him in - fantastic fixture run is running short

Why?! I do think I'll get rid of him next week to get sterling in but I guess if he plays 90 tonight then that could be justification to take a hit this week

Very similar to me. I can do Kenedy and Auba to sterling and Jiminez for a hit this week or free next week if I hold my transfer.
Have also been disappointed with Auba but he'll no doubt burn me if I do get rid!

With two fairly certain starters back from injury for City in KDB and Aguero - is the Pep roulette going to reach another level?

Thinking B.Silva is a no-go now if he wasn't before. And with Jesus back on form Pep could start him and Aguero some games meaning maybe just one of Sterling/Sane/Mahrez play? What are your thoughts?

He's a fan of 3 CBs and the wing backs. Practice for Monreal at LWB too.

Who would you say currently are the most desirable mid options?
Is it too early to bring in KDB?

    Currently have

    Felipe Anderson
    Sane
    Sterling
Silva (will need to get rid)
    Hojberg

Also - not loving where Kane plays too much -I'm tempted to trade him for Auba?

This is worrying as a Son and Auba owner. May have one last throw of the Aguero dice

Worrying? Why? Auba may play out wide with Laca up top. But when he's come off bench hes always had a better impact anyways imo.

As for son... Kane will most likely come and sooo

Come on soon and son go off... Eriksen, Lucas more likely to be rotated imo

I’d say say Auba and Son will get more minutes than Aguero this week
