The final match of Gameweek 5 takes place this evening as Aston Villa take on West Ham United at Villa Park.

Kick-off is at 20:00 BST.

Not one of the 22 players in the two starting XIs sits in more than 7% of Fantasy Premier League squads, with Sebastien Haller (£7.5m) the most-owned asset on show.

Haller was transferred in by just under 180,000 Fantasy bosses in the run-up to Gameweek 5.

All of West Ham’s other players are owned by 5% of FPL managers or fewer.

Tyrone Mings (£4.6m), Tom Heaton (£4.5m) and John McGinn (£5.6m) are the only members of Aston Villa’s starting XI who are in more than 5% of Fantasy Premier League squads.

Dean Smith has made two changes to the side that lost at Crystal Palace, one of which is enforced.

The suspended Trezeguet (£5.3m) is replaced by Anwar El Ghazi (£5.5m), while Marvelous Nakamba (£4.4m) is brought in at the expense of Douglas Luiz (£4.6m) in central midfield.

West Ham’s team news is a lot more straightforward, with Manuel Pellegrini naming the same starting XI that lined up in Gameweeks 3 and 4.

The Hammers are unbeaten in three Premier League matches and have taken four points from their first two away games.

Aston Villa won their previous home fixture, defeating Everton 2-0 in Gameweek 3.

Aston Villa XI: Heaton, Taylor, Engels, Mings, Guilbert, Marvelous, McGinn, Grealish, Jota, Wesley, El Ghazi.

West Ham United XI: Fabianski, Fredericks, Diop, Ogbonna, Masuaku, Rice, Noble, Lanzini, Yarmolenko, Anderson, Haller.

    1, 2 or 3...

    1. VVD, Wesley to:
    A) 4.5, Vardy (-4)
    B) 5.5, Abraham (-4)

    2. VVD to any defender

    3. Wesley to Barnes

McGinn looks a very good player to me , in the box a lot, shooting on sight pressing from the front, feeling confident about getting him in as a Ceballos replacement.

    3. FPL Forward Thinker

I got so lucky when I signed Wesley for Everton match (GW3) admit I had not seen him or knew anything about him. Just wanted a punt in the Friday night game and fancied him.
He didn’t last long as sold him last on Wildcard.

      He’s just about matched Pukki in GW 3 & 4 (9+2 versus 11+2)

What’s in hold for second half v West Ham (additional 13 pts to draw level with pukki over 3 weeks? Doubt it.

exactly this. I actually think Tammy might be a better option at home to Pool rather than Haller at home to Utd! Then it's a dream run after that

      2. Amey
        7 years, 1 month ago

        Will see myself

Haller to Tammy is also on the cards

    3. Superflymonk

Time for the wildcard. What do you think of this?

    Pope McGovern

    Kelly Soyuncu Zinchenko Lundstram Guilbert

    Mount Lamela Bruyne Mane Cantwell

    Aguero Abaumeyang Pukki

Obvuously the defence will be criticised however made the decision to concentrate on attack. I am tempted to swap Lamela for McGinn and then swap Guilbet for Aurier.
    Thoughts?

    3. Dušan Citizen

I think Barkley will start ahead of Mount in UCL. Also, would give Mahrez chance before Sterling, so that's 2.5 which you can use to upgrade Haland.

Also, if that's Martinez from Bayern, he most probably won't start.

      1. pundit of punts
        7 years, 1 month ago

Lampard would be mad to keep Mount out. Barkley in place of Kovacic maybe.

Sterling or Aguero from City for nailed onness. Martinez from Ajax.

    4. Murder On Zidanesfloor

      I would get kimmich

      1. pundit of punts
        7 years, 1 month ago

Too expensive. Looking at means to upgrade Sule to Pavard though. Bonucci + Sule : Pavard + Danilo is on the cards if the De Sciglio injury is long term.

        1. rjcv177
          7 years, 1 month ago

Pavard can rest for a Kimmich RB spot. Just warning
I went Kimmich for safety. but IMO Pavard starts

          1. pundit of punts
            7 years, 1 month ago

That's the worry. Bonucci + Sule are more nailed.

    5. rjcv177
      7 years, 1 month ago

focusing on 1gw...and go from there (probably WC gw2 for fixtures)

      Vlachodimos, Muslera
      Kimiich, Rose, Godin, Zinchenko, Tagliafico
      KDB, Coutinho, Zyech, Pizzi, Sensi
      Lewa, Tadic, Abraham

Tadic C then go for Lewa C

  19. FOO FIGHTER
    7 years, 1 month ago

My plan was to switch from 352 to 343 but I think I just may stick with 352 with Kun and Pukki up top. I am not sold on Tammy. He is on a high and can see him fade especially when he is carrying the load along with Mount at CHE.

Was dead set on Haller, beast in his last match but gone completely missing in this one. Sure you cannot score every game but now believe Son will be much better for my starting 11.

    1. ‘Tis the Season

    3. HollywoodXI
      7 years, 1 month ago

I think Cantwell is a factor here. I went 343 with my eight attacker being Cantwell, a player who is useful. A 4.5m striker doesn’t have the same upside IMO. I’m rolling with Salah, Sterling, KDB, Mount, Cantwell, Firmino, Rashford and Pukki and it’s working quite well.
