After a chastening weekend of football, the Scoutcast is back to reflect on all the key talking points from Gameweek 9.

You can watch it from 20:00 to 21:00 BST on our YouTube channel, or embedded in the article below.

Joe is joined by Fantasy Football Scout deputy editor Neale and special guest Karam, who has appeared on a handful of our videos already this season.

Currently positioned at 144k in the world, Karam has just deployed his Wildcard and will be discussing the make-up of his revamped Fantasy Premier League squad.

The trio above will be looking at the form and fixtures of Raul Jimenez (£7.1m), Manchester City rotation and the so-called ‘FPL template’, among other things.

There is also a differential for Joe to put forward, clean sheets, the community’s questions and a look at the Scoutcast crew’s Gameweek 10 plans.

With no-shows and auto-subs being the order of the weekend, we can expect the usual mix of sob stories and tales of jam in Rough with the Smooth.

Lessons learned from Gameweek 9

I don't like you're team. Bench is to weak.
      Why take out Sterling?
      Three Chelsea offensive players?
      Would ditch Otamendi and Pepe.

KDB the best captain choice with Sterling and Aguero playing 90 tonight?

    1. GENERATION X

I think the extra recovery day boosts the latter starting chances

    2. Epic Fail

I'd captain both Sterling and Kun ahead of KDB

      1. I Member
        7 years, 3 days ago

Seems strange to me. Sterling maybe but surely there's a strong chance Jesus starts over Aguero.

        1. Epic Fail
          7 years, 3 days ago

I don't bother trying to guess Pep team selection. I just choose the best option and hope he doesn't screw me over.

        2. Salah’s Sonnet
          7 years, 3 days ago

          Why a strong chance?

          1. I Member
            7 years, 3 days ago

Because he's in form and Aguero played 90 minutes.

            1. Salah’s Sonnet
              7 years, 3 days ago

If he’s in form then surely that’s a good thing? Jesus I think it’s Aguero’s turn to play at weekend this time, can never second guess Pep though

              1. Epic Fail
                7 years, 3 days ago

I think what people forget too is that Aguero is their number 1 striker. Jesus is the deputy.

                1. Salah’s Sonnet
                  7 years, 3 days ago

Agreed, Jesus is like the apprentice being weaned in.

              2. I Member

I meant Jesus is in form.

    3. GENERATION X
      7 years, 3 days ago

Best thing to do if you have City doubts is look at the 5 attacking mids in the top 10 points scorers and the no 1 striker for points. Points come over time just maybe not all in one go

      1. I Member
        7 years, 3 days ago

Doesn't really help with choosing a captain this week though does it?

    4. Pumpkinhead - I'm ITK …
      7 years, 3 days ago

Pep started Jesus over Kun because Kun hadn't played or trained fully in the 2 week break . Jesus " had more rhythm ". Kun playing 90 mins doesn't worry me too much as he's had a fair rest. Id be more worried about Razza for sure. I'll probably captain Kun but I've lost care anyway so whatever happens happens

      1. I Member
        7 years, 3 days ago

That makes sense. Would like to think Sterling gets his rest in the cup game but that's what I thought last time and he missed the Watford game and played in the cup.

  12. FPLShaqiri
    7 years, 3 days ago

Which would your rather have in Draft?

    a) Pogba - currently injured (timeframe unknown), has played deeper than previous season in early games and has no pens. But still a nailed on world class player in a team that could score lots of goals. Outside chance of a transfer (Real Madrid?) in January.

    b) Sigurdsson - dropped last game and Everton played well, although he did come on and score. Looks attacking but how often is he going to start?

      surely there are other options

      1. FPLShaqiri
        7 years, 3 days ago

That’s the trade I have been offered. Draft works differently to FPL, only one person in a league can own a player so any half decent midfielder is already in someone’s team

        1. ZimZalabim
          7 years, 3 days ago

I would take pogba for draft
he isnt fit yet but ist far off and has much much better fixtures and will be on pens

evertons fixtures about to turn and their run in dec is horrendous, hell get his spot in the team back soon enough and is on most set peices and all that but pobga is the same for united so fixtures wise which is key in draft i say Pogba

Not much you can do without losing players u have value tied up in
You made the decision last week to go with this team and CHO and Vardy paid off they have good fixtures as well and no guarantees on who scores or starts for city but the creator in chief is in ur team and he was taken off at 60 mins so will start.
