With just seven days to go until the 2021/22 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season kicks off, now seems like a good time to share my latest draft.
And it is very much a draft, and one which is evolving on a daily basis right now!
However, I don’t envisage too much changing between now and next week’s deadline, providing Harry Kane (£12.5m) and Romelu Lukaku don’t turn up at Manchester City and Chelsea that is.

Saw your draft yesterday. And i at some point tried both these options.
For some reason A looks better even though 442 looks a bit out of place. Not convinced by Mahrez. Has the tendency to miss out in Gw2 for Foden/Torres
C) Mahrez +1mil in the bank
-Avoids Son vs. City.
-Mahrez's a captain option in GW2 v. NOR.
-Son in for GW3 v. WAT & another candidate for the armband.
Son can score as likely as Mahrez in that opening fixture imo. And Mahrez could be benched against easier opposition in gw 2

The chances Mahrez won't start the first 2 GW's after an entire preseason / training is low.
Have been on this idea for a while and makes a lot of sense. Plus, he had a really good pre-season. Mahrez + 1.0M to start, and if you save GW2 transfer you can pretty much switch to anyone, even Kane in GW3.

Fair chance of 1-2 CS from the 4.
Don't have to worry about the overrated BB chip afterwards and can concentrate on investing in 12-13 players after first WC.

Slight risk of a player or two not starting perhaps.
