The top 10k template team is incredibly strong and robust at the moment, with good reason. We have a player like Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) with 99.7% ownership at this level, who is comfortably topping the expected goal involvement (xGI) charts for both the full season and the last six Gameweeks. Liverpool are in a different stratosphere when it comes to attacking and I’ve seen nothing yet to make me take the armband away from Salah. He’s averaging 3.2 shots in the box, 1.12 big chances and 2.16 chances created per game. The volume is staggering and is not showing any signs of slowing down. Nobody else touches him when it comes to underlying numbers.

There is some chat in the community of captaining one of the premium full-backs instead of Salah. Let’s look at some of the underlying numbers for this. This is the table for chances created per 90 this season:

    With Trent, Cancelo, Tuchels wingers and now Conte's 3-2-5, does seem like 5 at the back may be the only true differential. You're right Pranil, losing patience with Foden, not mutually exclusive but I'd have to swap Jota for him soon

      Must be something like 60 year now, and i still think his steroids is still inside him!
      Ha ha, i think this ben is now fought himself as first choice but in such a heavy schedule these kind of players will most likely rotate during Christmas.

    Can someone tell me if I'm being logical or not with these transfers?

    Manquillo, Gray + Antonio to James, Jota and 4.4 FW -8pts

    Can't see Manquillo playing so 0 points. 0 for Gray because injury and Antonio can't see scoring v city. So effectively need James and Jota (if fit to get >10 points

      You have 2 injury problems to check up on - Havertz (prob just knock, could still feature vs Man Utd) & Gray (maybe out longer).

      Generally, most are scrambling after a back 4 of of "AAT" Cancelo James & Chilwell. Some still bringing in Spurs assets.

          Don't think you need to WC this week. Maybe do a -4 to move out Antonio and bring a stronger midfielder in along with Cancelo and pick a forward fodder instead.

          There will be better options to wild card in December when the fixtures come thick and fast and there will be fixture swings to take advantage of.

          Plus if you WC you're effectively throwing away the transfer you carried over

    Klopp was asked specifically about Hendo/Robbo injuries...

    Klopp says Hendo/Robbo are "okay..... but are they ready to start this one? We still have to make those decisions."

    Wasn't asked but no mention of Jota should be good news. He was then asked about Jota's injury in the UCL dead rubber last year and only answered that question, not hinting at any current issues for Jota...

    No mention of Firmino at all.

      I am getting Gilmour gw15 - playing further forward creative - praised on MOTD. Tempted by Ramsey as he has the fixtures soon and Gerrard would likes to play with three in the middle. It also would mean developing a local lad.

      Canos feel the ship has sailed on him for the next three - but brentford's fixtures improve gw18.

      It all depends on how often you think you will be playing your cheapest mid. I got ESR when cheap had no qualms about playing him when he had a decent fixture. It depends what type of fpl player you are. And also if you could use that cash elsewhere if you went for a 4.5 or 4.4m mid.

    so my team is 85% template on LiveFPL but also my exact 15 man squad is only owned by 8 mangers in the top 10K

    very interesting to see that, first 11 is owned by 32 managers which is still not even half a percent.

    So very very template but also very very differential

      tbf you could own 9 template players and one or two very low owned players in your first 11 and that would give you a very low score for the second metric, but the majority of your team would be template. E.g if you had say Salah, Trent, Cancelo, James and Joelinton (for the ease of explanation imagine your team was 5 players) and then you'd have a high template rating but very few players would own that EXACT combination, so a low score for the latter metric.

        thats true in terms of how low the number actually is because it drops significantly when u add the bench players and keeper down to the double or single digit of players in the top 10k but even if u just look at the 4 full backs its under 1800 players which is quite surprising considering the past 4 weeks and how high theyve scored, would have thought more players would own them especially in the top10K.

        But yes I get the point when u add in a foster and brownhill it drops down a fair bit.

      Don't mind all this differential template stuff. Just look at the direction the crowd is going based on transfers on the price change sites and the 'experts'.

      Then ask yourself are the masses missing a trick by having their heads turned elsewhere - a blind spot. Or should you follow the masses are they correct in xyz case etc.
      It is really just like playing the market - going with it or against it.

      The active managers make it obvious to which direction they are going. The information is all out there and most copy each other.
