The deadline for Double Gameweek 29 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) is less than 24 hours away and the questions are, as ever, coming thick and fast in our comments section.

Most of these are requests for advice on transfer dilemmas or chip strategy and so it’s with that in mind that we’ve asked five-time top 1k finisher and Scout’s Deputy Editor, Tom Freeman, to answer some of them over the next 60 minutes.

He’ll be on hand to first reply to requests from Premium Members in the Hot Topic below the line of this piece and will get through as many as he can until the next article goes up.

If there’s time, Tom will also turn his attention to other requests in the comments section.

As ever, you can chip in with your own opinions on the raft of RMT requests filtering through – and naturally, feel free to ignore the article subject matter and talk about any other wider FPL topics that you’d normally be musing on.

Don’t forget that, if it’s an algorithmic answer you’re after rather than an opinion-based one, we also have a â€˜Rate My Team’ tool available in the Premium Members Area.

Annoying thinking of capping Saka over Salah? Could do Kane either.

So I'm TC'ing this week and I'm chasing
Thinking of going Kane as a huge differential
But would TC'ing Salah be enough of a differential anyway

    What would you do?

Hi Tom. Nothing in the bank, 1FT – what would you do?

    Sánchez² // Foster
Trent² Cancelo Rüdiger Livramento // Aït-Nouri
Salah² Son² Saka² Raphinha // Bowen*
    Jiménez Broja // King

Current plan is Bowen to Martinelli for free.
    Chip plan: FH30, WC33, considering BB29

    Hey fam! GTG?

    Ramsdale
    TAA Robbo Doherty
    Salah(TC) Saka Gordon Coutinho
    Kane Lacazette Broja

    Sa Digne Saiss Ramsey

Did James, Havertz & Jimenez to Kane, Gordon & Doherty for -8.

I’m wondering the same. The high volume of sales make him a nice differential if he plays. Moyes comments don’t fill me with confidence though

    2. KieranKA
      • 4 Years

Both likely. I'm more certain about Livramento though.

Chelsea will play three out of Rüdiger, Christensen, Chalobah and Silva. Rüdiger is very likely after he got benched midweek, Christensen is the least likely because he's just back from injury.

    A) Save FT, play White

Current Squad w/ 2.4 ITB and looking to play through GW29 and GW30 without a chip:

    Foster/Guita
    TAA, Cancelo. Rudiger, Cash, White
    Jota, Salah, Coutinho, Saka, Bowen
    Laca, Dennis, Broja

Bowen to Kulu and Jota to Sonaldo
Bowen to Kulu and Jota to Diaz (huge fan and think he starts one if not both based on performance in the first)
Jota to Kulu and White to Robbo
Jota to Sonaldo and White to Doherty

    Thoughts?

    1. KieranKA
      • 4 Years

I can do James + Ramsey --> Doh + Kulu, but I also have Bowen...

Should I just sell Bowen right now instead of Ramsey? Can afford to bench Bowen this week though so could wait and see? So weird with Bowen's injury

    Rawly, I got bottomed:

Who do we think is more likely to accrue points this coming GW - Everton, Arsenal, Newcastle or Brighton? Spurs and Liverpool look like point haulers but the others I'm not so sure on.

Arsenal: They're playing Liverpool. That likely means a clean sheet will not be had in one fixture and they're also unlikely to score too. So in essence, aren't we really looking for them to haul in one game, thus making it less of an appealing DGW for them?

Brighton: Similar to Arsenal, but worse as they play Spurs as well as Liverpool. Why get them at all? We'd never get them if they were playing either of those teams.

Everton: Their form is rank, but their fixtures look better than the above, with Newcastle and Wolves. Yet both these teams are on the up and Everton have no form players at all. So they seem like a really risky pick. They are the epitome of meh.

Newcastle: They're on the up, true, but they play Chelsea who could be in disarray though that wasn't evident against Norwich. Other than that, it's Everton, who are clearly quite bad.

So surely the only teams worth having players from from a DGW perspective are Liverpool, Spurs and Newcastle?

I think Everton attackers will haul

      My thoughts:

Arsenal: Unpredictable. They could get returns in both games, certainly you’d fancy them to get a couple against Leicester and are capable of keeping CS (especially with Vardy out). Capable of upsetting Liverpool too.

Brighton: They look like they’re already on the beach. Could surprise us all, but they look like they’re going to get spanked in both games.

Everton: Yes, they could shock us all, but this really, honestly, looks like a Championship team. Mid table Championship defence, not much better midfield, always injured main striker and Championship level manager. Newcastle look up for a fight, Everton look like they don’t fancy it at all. If Toon win that game you can probably start looking at what early odds you’ll get for Everton in the Championship next season,

Newcastle: Forget the Chelsea game. Beat Everton on Thursday and they can probably start putting out the beach towels. If fit ASM and Fraser are good picks.

Will the projected points in Rate My Team section be updated more before deadline?

James is unlikely to feature on this weekend, right?

Did my WC last week with BB this week that thanks to James has been dented somewhat.

    Ramsdale*
    Dier* Rudiger TAA*
    Saka* Salah Raphina Willock*
    Kane* Lacazette*

    Dubravka* Kilman, Broja, Ramsey

I was going to hold to next week then do 3 transfers for a -4.

    Now though should I
    A. Still BB & do James > Doherty [2 spurs defenders then] 1FT
    B. Still BB & do James, Dier > Doherty & Thomas/Amartey -4
    C. Leave as is, scrap BB this week.

Hard decision, I did the same as you wc28 with a view BB29 but my plans were to take a - 4 anyway.
The doubts surrounding Kilman & Broja along with James's injury might mean I end up -8 but I will still BB.

I'm your case you still will have Kilman & Broja on the bench which means C is your only option

    TAA Cancelo Digne
    Raphinha Foden Coutinho Bowen*
    Broja Kane Watkins

Don’t mind losing Cancelo for Doh. Not a fan of Laca but he’s an upgrade on Dennis for sure. Coutinho’s in great form but I get that he has a fixture less than Kulu over the next 2 (Spurs decent beyond as well). For - 8 I don’t think I’d do those
