Joe, Andy and Seb help Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers prepare for Gameweek 35 and beyond.

With only four Gameweeks remaining, time is tight for FPL managers to climb up the rankings.

Low-owned players with the potential for notching explosive returns look key to a successful conclusion to the campaign.

Our Scoutcast trio consider the best options, looking at notable double-digit haulers and considering their expected minutes on the pitch.

Even as they uttered the name Kevin De Bruyne (£11.8m) as a key difference maker, the Belgian was notching returns, as this latest episode was streamed live during Manchester City’s UEFA Champions League clash with Real Madrid.

Chelsea’s stars are also on the agenda. The likes of Marcos Alonso (£5.6m) and Timo Werner (£8.7m) certainly have explosive potential but can they secure the minutes needed to deliver?

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur face a Euro-distracted Leicester City, a side they have often prevailed against. But can Antonio Conte’s wing-back system recapture the form needed to supply the likes of Harry Kane (£12.5m) and Son Heung-min (£11.0m)?

With Joe returning from holiday, he attempts a Spanish greeting to viewers and listeners with mixed results. Seb is buoyant with a current rank in the top 500 and Andy may well roll a transfer as he looks forward to Double Gameweek 36.

Elsewhere, there are all the usual features including the latest moves of the show’s community team and our trio’s captaincy plans.

Be sure to subscribe to our Youtube channel to get notified of future live episodes. The Scoutcast is also available as a podcast.

      1 or 2. I like Salah also.
I would only do 2 if it is confirmed City will not double in 36 but its not like Son is a way better captaincy option than Sterling this week.

Current WC Draft with eyes on BB Gwk 36
Am I too focused on gwk 36?
    Still have 1 FH left

    Foster
    TAA - Cash - Matip - Alonso
    Coutinho - Salah - Son (c) - Mount
    Watkins - Dennis
    BENCH: Schmeichel - Cancelo - D-Hall - Nketiah

Worried it's a bit Villa heavy considering they have nothing to play for.

Agree it's a bit too Villa heavy, Watkins and Coutinho are at high enough price points that I think you could have much better options available to you. They're bottom of the PL form table since GW29

Rewatching highlights from the game last night, the referee was top notch. Let the game flow when he needed to rather than give free-kicks for every small challenge, allowed play to continue after a foul when he could, no extensive fussing over VAR for any decisions, even for the penalty he just took a brief moment to think and gave it himself and that was that. Such a shame it's so rare to see that in the PL these days.

    Which option:

    A) Keep Weghorst vs Watford, save FT to do either of B or C in 36.
    B) Weghorst to Pukki vs Villa. Play in 36.
    C) Weghorst to Dennis vs Burnley. Play in 36.

I'm undecided between him and Salah. In a battle in my ML and fully expecting my rivals to cap Salah, so its whether I've got the balls to take it on or play safe with Salah. It's potentially a season defining decision.

        1. Nate(U)dog(ie)
          • 5 Years
          4 years, 1 month ago

It's a tough call, Newcastle won't be an easy game especially away, they're in good form and are well organised so I don't think Liverpool will score loads, but that's not to say that Salah couldn't score in a 1-0 and end up on 11pts. Spurs is a bit of a gamble in a way, if there's any truth to these rumours regarding Conte and PSG it may have been part of the reason behind their mini-slump (as well as facing more organised teams), they have to win this and win it well to keep their season going.

Liverpool do have a short turnaround too, late Wednesday CL game followed by 12.30 Saturday game, and there's the "early Saturday kick-off curse" if you believe in it too. But they're still in excellent form and fighting for 4 trophies so they're flying.

    A, Matip ( have TAA)

    B. Downgrade James (35) to upgrade Kulu (36)

    What do you think?

    0.2ITB and no chips left:
    Schmeichel

I think James is leaving my team by GW36 as I'm not sure on his starts/mins.

Just need to decide whether having 2FTs for 36 is more beneficial than selling James this GW

Starts/mins v Arsenal in GW35 would be a concern as it is sandwiched between the Frankfurt games.

Zaha will have 1 less fixture in 35-36 but nailed 90mins against Southampton and Watford, both are defensively poor.

What are the xMins you have for Maddison and Bernardo?

Coutinho form is an issue. Good fixure in 35 but 36-38 is not as easy as the FDR suggests imo

Salah Son Saka (Dewey hall, Gordon)
    Kane, Werner, Broja

I’m thinking James & Broja out for Cash and Pukki

    Any thoughts

It should never reach the stage where confirmation of a Man City double overshadows anything else I can be bothered to search for on Google.

And yet here I am... FPL knucklehead to the last.

I have an FT and want to bring in Robertson for Livramento, but I need to cash in Kane or Son. Which? And for whom? Jesus or Pukki? Or Kulu or Mount?

Looking for any edge over BBers & I think this is it - hopefully they can't afford my KDB, Mané, Kane team

      FH37 mudded?

Just more variance and excitement, I guess. Some free hitters will fill their teams with the likes of Everton, Villa and Palace. Big gains possible but the risks are higher now ofc.

        BB36 muddied?

I wish I'd BB this week, albeit was looking at gw37 too with Palace players.

Opposite surely. I already have a team of doublers, bar Mateta.

This announcement has given Cancelo, who I have, an extra game.

Also allows me to move James/Havertz to the likes of Laporte/Foden of I think they get two matches for examples.

All whist the number of City players in 37 due to a double I was less prepared for now drops a fair amount, since no double.

But you prob cant afford KDB with Son/Kane and Salah/Mané with a strong bench though...? I already have KDB & expect his EO to be lower in DGW36 than it would have been in DGW37
