    Do I honestly need to activate wildcard with this current team?

    Was thinking I could just do Mahrez > Mac Allister this week to get a third DGW player and then do TAA > Mee next week and field 10 players in GW28.

    I honestly am not sure where I should be using this Wildcard now lol.

      Was having a look at him as well. Sanchez is definitely dropped and won’t get his spot back unless Steele starts making errors. Nonetheless he should be good for DGW27 at the very least

    Signed March hastily at 10:55 on a free when I heard Mahrez was benched. Hadnt a chance to think through my selection. As I only want to own 2 Bri next week do I stick with him or twist? Obviously I feel like I made the wrong choice. Easy with hindsight. But I don't want to compound my error by sticking with him for next 4.

    (+) Got Kepa and Chilwell right.
    Its nice to be stubborn for once, I didnt want Botman as a second Newcastle defender in the WC

    (-) Mitoma... I was so happy when I saw he scored... that I forgot he is first on my bench and Madders is starting.
    I realise if I bought another Brighton midfielder I would have started Mitoma. Oh well... know when I start Mitoma... Maddison is going to haul vs Chelsea, isnt he?

    Thoughts on how much a Wildcard is worth. I always struggle to play it right
    I can get teams I'm happy with for the next few (playing 9 in 28) and BB29 for -12.

    Now if I assume I'd have 11 in 28 if I wildcard I'd say it's 20 points I'd be losing assuming 1 return for the two starters

    You get the Brighton and Brentford players against bottom teams

    You also get Trippier against Wolves, Arsenal against Fulham, United against Southampton, City against Palace and Spurs against Forest

    In gw29 most of that team will play each other, Brentford/United, Brighton/Brentford etc you can still get 9 doubles out but would have to bench Arsenal players against Leeds

    I reckon that team scores more next week than gw29

      I'm not sure that's the best way to compare gameweeks. In my view I'd pick my team/bench for each gameweek first, completely ignoring a benchboost option, then I'd ask myself which bench I'd rather have the bench points on.

      In my case I'd have

      GW27 Ward CHE , Martinelli and Zinchenko Ful, Schar WOL

      GW29 Ward Cry and AVL, Martinelli, Zinchenko and Saka LEE

      So, apart from having an extra match in 29 I'd also rather have the points from those 3 Arsenal players v Leeds.

      You'll get the points from your first 11 either way,

      However, there is arguably more risk waiting the extra weeks with injuries, suspensions, loss of form etc
